Welcome to The Triceratops Landing.



There are plenty of toys to distract the kids while the adults cozy up to the fireplace to enjoy a glass of wine and watch your favourite TV show on a 55" Smart Roku TV with included Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video.



This home is in the heart of Drumheller and within walking distance of the historic Downtown atmosphere the Valley has to offer while still being nestled away in it's own private corner.

You'll have access to the entire home as it's primarily set up for guests.

Cozy tree surrounded neighbourhood within a couple minutes of downtown, nearby restaurants and The Big Dinosaur!



Getting Around:

There is plenty of parking space for a vehicle however most of Drumheller's attractions and downtown are within walking distance!

• Kindly be advised that the only access to the basement/extra bedroom is through the main bedroom -- which may affect privacy.



• Please make sure to read and explore your Boarding Pass for detailed check-in ( and check out ) instructions and other information you need during and after your stay.



We understand that accidents can happen during your stay, and we want to ensure that both you and the property are protected.

For your peace of mind, we offer two options:

1) Non-refundable Damage Waiver: For a small fee, this waiver covers accidental damages (up to $250) during your stay.

2) Refundable Safety Deposit: A credit card hold, that will be refunded upon a successful property inspection after your stay.

These options will be presented to you through our Guest App after booking.



• Pets welcome with approval. Pet fee is $150 per pet.

The house is well represented on the listing. What it doesn't say is that the house is very creaky. Although everything is very clean and well kept, it is an old house. Walking on the floor is very audible in the basement where the kids bedroom is, making it very hard to walk around the upstairs without waking up sleeping kids.The stay was however comfortable, clean and safe. We would stay here again next time we come to Drumheller.

Cute little spot

The house is super cute, so many adorable dinosaurs, the kids loved it. Kitchen was well stocked and everything we needed was there.

Triceratops landing was very cute and clean, and best for a family with small kids. It did not sleep our group of (2 teens, 2 seniors, 2 adults), and we had to send half the group to a hotel.

Excellent location

This older home is perfect for a family of four. The house is clean and the beds are comfortable. Everything worked well and the kitchen was well appointed. We couldn’t ask for a better location. Close to a wonderful grocery store, restaurant and kids water park. Very quiet neighbourhood also.

Great Family getaway

Our family of four (children aged 10 months and three years) greatly enjoyed our stay. While there were some minor issues (the dryer and freezer didn't work, and the security code was incorrect), they were all promptly fixed by the management company. The house itself is fairly small with low ceilings in the basement, but it was very accommodating to our young children. There were dinosaurs EVERYWHERE. Literally hundreds of toys and knickknacks all over the house, which our children loved! The location is excellent as well. Just a quick drive or walk to grocery stores and the downtown area. Very convenient. The size of the house would likely feel cramped after more than a few days, but for a 3 night stay with children this VRBO was perfect for what we needed.

Excellent property for a family trip!

This was an excellent stay for us in Drumheller! It was perfect for our family of 3. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay. I would say it's probably better for families or a couple since the 2nd bedroom is in the basement and you have to walk through the main bedroom to get to the stairs. For us this was actually great because we felt closer to our child sleeping down there but could be awkward if you're with a group of friends. The property was clean and it was obvious a lot of care and thought when it to the decoration of the place. The beds we super comfy! We all had great sleeps! The location was also fantastic for us. It was within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and the Valley Brewing brewery. The ad does mention that the stairs to the basement are steep and it's true. They are no joke... Could be an issue for anyone with mobility challenges.

Great family stay

Great little house, it was very clean house and well kept, great location, easy to find and lots of parking. Lots of extra effort making it a great experience and place for kids. With plush toys, games, decoration and TV channels, kids will love the Jurassic theme of the house. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials, barbecue in the back with table and chairs to enjoy the outdoors. Ours was a group of adults, and though this is more of a family oriented property, we found it more than adequate for our needs. Some low door entries and beams to watch out for the taller people. The host was great we would not hesitate to rent here in the future.

Clean and comphy vacation home.

Clean, quiet, close to everything, lots of condiments make it easy for making meals. Kids loved the dinosaur theme bedroom books, pictures and figurines through out the tastefully decorated cottage vacation home. Spacious open kitchen, patio table and firepit . Relaxing spot to stay after 2 full days of fun in Drumheller. Beds were comphy with cosy bedding.

We really enjoyed our stay in Drumheller. The house was clean, really close to all the major attractions and well equipped. The kids really loved all the dinosaur toys and decorations. Thanks for having us!

This was a fantastic place for us to stay with our grandson for 3 nights. He just loved going from room to room looking at all the dinosaur art decor and toys! Lots of dinosaur toys! The bedrooms were very comfortable for all of us and we slept very deeply. The kitchen was nicely set up for us to cook all our meals in and to watch cartoons from too. We enjoyed every minute we were here. Not to mention that a couple deer were grazing in the neighbor’s yard across the street! What a bonus! We will come back here with our grandson again that’s for sure! Thanks for the wonderful experience you’ve put together in this cosy house!

Not a 3 BR! Overall disappointing experience.

We were excited to find a “3 bedroom” accommodation for a family vacation - and paid a premium for Triceratops Landing over other properties, because of this. There was a Master suite, and a childrens’ room in the basement (down some very sketchy stairs); however, I can only assume that the “third bedroom” was the pull-out couch in the living room. The house was crowded and not overly clean… so we found ourselves vacuuming up crumbs, washing dishes/cutlery, and wiping up sticky messes to feel more comfortable. We even had to buy more dishwasher soap, because we were left with just one puck upon arrival. The icing on the cake was that we had asked about a late check out *prior to booking* and were assured that we could stay until 3/4 pm on our last day, to accommodate our daughter’s nap. This was completely overlooked, and the host booked over this time - thus requiring us to check out before 11 am. We were very disappointed by our stay, and felt deceived by the posting and our host. I would not recommend staying here.

Convenient, Well-Appointed and Family Friendly

We really enjoyed our stay at Triceratops Landing. Everything was clean and tidy and the layout felt spacious. Having the children’s room downstairs meant the adults had a space to hang out in the evening without fear of disturbing sleeping kids (very comfy beds!). The kids LOVED the very cute, clean and bright bedroom as well as the many books, games and puzzles supplied to keep them occupied (All My Friends Are Dead is hilarious). We really liked how easy the house is to find and it’s very convenient central location close to shopping, restaurants etc. We will definitely try to stay here again next time we’re in town. Thanks for everything!
