Newly renovated in 2026 and under new management. Escape to your own private Caribbean cottage with beautiful ocean views across the Narrows toward Nevis. Set among tropical gardens in the peaceful Turtle Beach area, this beautiful retreat combines privacy, spectacular scenery and relaxed island living.

The cottage features a comfortable bedroom, bathroom, bright living area and updated kitchen, making it ideal for a romantic getaway or a longer stay in St. Kitts.

Step outside onto your spacious private patio, where outdoor seating and sun loungers invite you to slow down and enjoy the cooling Atlantic trade winds. Start the day with coffee overlooking Nevis, relax outside in the afternoon, or enjoy a drink as the sun sets across the water.

THE LOCATION

Turtle Beach is an exclusive residential enclave on the Southeast Peninsula of St. Kitts, known for its large private villas, spacious properties and spectacular views toward Nevis. Its elevated Atlantic-side setting offers refreshing trade winds and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere.

Despite the secluded setting, you're only a short drive from some of the best of the Southeast Peninsula. Beautiful Cockleshell Beach, with calm Caribbean water, beach bars and restaurants, is approximately five minutes away. Christophe Harbour Marina, Park Hyatt, additional beaches and the ferry to Nevis are also within easy reach.

Turtle Beach itself is a quiet, undeveloped Atlantic-side beach located down the hill from the property.

GETTING AROUND

A rental car is strongly recommended so you can explore St. Kitts at your own pace. The final approach to Turtle Beach is along a gravel road that is suitable for regular cars when driven with care. The cottage is reached by a steep private driveway, with parking available at the property.

Taxis and transportation can also be arranged during your stay.

GOOD TO KNOW

The cottage sits on a larger private property that also includes the main house and another cottage. Each residence is independently positioned, allowing guests to enjoy their own private space.

The property is surrounded by tropical vegetation and local wildlife. You may even spot St. Kitts' famous green vervet monkeys passing through the area.

A backup water supply is available at the property for added convenience.

Local assistance is available throughout your stay, while self check-in gives you the freedom to arrive at your convenience. We're also happy to assist with transportation, restaurant recommendations, island experiences and other arrangements to help you make the most of your time in St. Kitts.

They told us on route to the airport the house was not available and we could stay elsewhere.We tried to cancel but VRBO dragged their feet and after 2 nights in hotel rooms we took up the offer rather than lose all our money. The alternate place was nice but no view or place to sit in the sun without paying 50 US dollars a day for a club 10 minute walk from house. Disappointed with the experience with VRBO to say the least.

Villa unavailable

We chose this villa for the location and views. 5 days before our travel we had message to say villa was no longer available due to renovation work not complete. To be fair we were offered another villa for the same price nearby on St Christophe estate which was larger and would have cost more. However, we were disappointed as although the villa was very nice it felt claustrophobic having no where to sit outdoors and surrounded by tall plants and in the middle of the estate. We wrongly assumed the Pavilion pool and seating would be available due to us being resident on the estate but on enquiry the charge would be US 40 per person per day. The manager for the property was very helpful. What made us angry was the cottage at Turtle bay should never been advertised until work completed as a view and location was important to us.

I'm very sorry that you are not satisfied with your accommodation. I contacted you 4 days before your arrival because the cottage in Turtle Beach was being repaired rather than renovated. I asked for your opinion and gave you a higher price villa with 2 bedrooms. And I sent you photos. Only with your consent can the replacement be carried out. Otherwise, you can apply for a refund. I'm sorry, you don't like that quiet 2 bedroom villa, but it's really a villa with exquisite decoration.Hope to serve you again.

Great view .... maintenance needed

The view is heavenly. Wish I'd been advised a car was needed ---- NOTHING other than other houses within walking distance. Could be an amazing property, but needs maintenance/attention. Apollo was helpful and concerned. Kitchen supplies minimal (i.e. two only of utensils!) Would consider a return, but would need a good grocery shop first....

Turtle Beach offers something increasingly hard to find: genuine peace and privacy while still being close to some of the best places on St. Kitts.

Set high on the Atlantic side of the Southeast Peninsula, the neighborhood is made up primarily of spacious private villas surrounded by tropical vegetation. The elevated setting brings refreshing trade winds and spectacular views across the Narrows toward the island of Nevis.

We especially love the feeling of space here. Mornings are quiet, monkeys occasionally wander through the gardens, and the constantly changing views across the water are beautiful throughout the day.

At the same time, you're only a short drive from Cockleshell Beach, Christophe Harbour Marina, Park Hyatt, waterfront restaurants and the ferry to Nevis. It gives you the tranquility of a secluded Caribbean retreat without feeling disconnected from everything the peninsula has to offer.

The cottage is tucked into a lush hillside setting with beautiful views across the water toward Nevis. Its spacious private patio becomes an extension of the living space — a place for morning coffee in the trade winds, an afternoon spent reading in the sun or a quiet drink while watching the light change over the Caribbean.

Although the cottage forms part of a larger private property, it has been positioned to feel independent and secluded from the other residences.

Following its recent renovation, the cottage offers refreshed interiors while retaining the character and relaxed atmosphere of a Caribbean home.

It's particularly suited to couples and independent travelers who value beautiful surroundings, privacy and the freedom to experience St. Kitts at their own pace.
