This quiet little cabin in the woods offers a big front porch where you can watch the sun set over Blue Hill Bay! The cabin is a brand new build. With a short walk through a wooded trail you arrive at a private family beach for swimming, fires, and walking trails! Located 50 minute drive to Acadia National Park it allows you to enjoy the park for the day and then relax away from the crowds at night!

We had the MOST amazing time at this home. It was quite frankly the BEST experience we have ever had (and we have stayed at a lot of the other popular rental co). The host was communicative but only when asked (love) and was beyond accommodating. I so appreciate her and every extra on the home. We felt very blessed to have stumbled upon such an absolute gem. We enjoyed our stay so much because first, the cabin is outstanding. Every single thing we needed was there. We like this type of stay bc we can cook breakfast and dinner at “home” and it was so nice to have all of the cooking utensils and spices available for use. The location was an easy hour drive from Acadia, and the drive is lovely and enjoyable. The night sky was FANTASTIC with a zillion stars. We felt very remotely located but truly you are only a 20 minute drive to everything. The home was perfect. The stay was perfect. I can say with 100% certainty that we will be back and I have already recommended the cabin to others who have asked. Thank you so much!

My family really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean and spacious, and the outdoor areas were amazing. We enjoyed s’mores by the firepit and walking a short way to the water front. It took us about an hour to get to Bar Harbor/Acadia, but we appreciated the quiet cabin after our day trips.

If you are looking for a welcoming, family friendly place to be, this is it! There is nothing is didnt like about it. I came and spent some time with family without distractions.

This cabin was perfect for our family vacation. It was very clean and the perfect size for us. We enjoyed seashell hunting at the private beach! We spent a lot of time at Acadia National Park and towns around there, all less than an hour away. We would definitely stay again if in the area!

Cabin Stay in Coastal Maine

It was a great stay. The location was perfect for our needs. We were looking for a secluded cabin to stay while we mainly went hiking through Acadia.The place was clean and stocked well with dishes and basic cooking equipment. The beach access was also a plus - you are maybe a quarter mile away from the coast.Heather was a great host, even reaching out through the stay checking if we needed more linen.

Perfect cabin

We absolutely loved how close the cabin was to the water! We also loved having the fire area and how we had our own space! Gorgeous area! Quiet cabin in the woods! The host was wonderful! She answered our questions promptly!

Peaceful escape

We booked this for part of Maine trip and loved it so much we asked to extend it 2 additional days. The beach was secluded and sunsets amazing. Heather thought of everything. I would come back again.

Didn’t want to leave

We had an amazing time and the owner was extremely accommodating as our arrival was delayed by a couple days. The cabin was incredibly clean and you can tell it is well cared for. The property is tucked away along the shore and our daughter had a great time hunting for sea shells. She kept saying “I don’t want to leave my cabin in the woods”.. We all wish we could have stayed longer! We hope to come back next year!

Peace and Quiet

This cabin was just what we were looking for...some much needed peach and quiet. The cabin is surrounded by trees with not another house in sight. We loved walking to the beach everyday and enjoying the sounds of wind and water. The stars at night were so clear and we were even able to enjoy the northern lights one night. Wow! The cabin had everything we needed. Heather checked in on us to make sure we were ok and left lots of information about the area that was helpful. We enjoyed our stay and are already planning to bring other family back at a later date.

Perfect getaway 😀

I couldn't have picked a better place for a perfect getaway. The cabin is simply beautiful. It was equipped with everything to make us feel at home😊. We loved going down to the private beach to watch sunset everyday we stayed. I believe the host plays a good part in making one comfortable and that is exactly what Heather did. She was wonderful and answered any questions I had. This cabin is a must stay for anyone who wants to get away from the hectic life and yet enjoy all the adventures Acadia National Park has to offer. Absolutely loved it and hope to make it again soon. Thank you very much Heather for a great getaway 😊

Highly Recommend!

This cabin is as private and peaceful as they come. The host has provided all the amenities of home and then some. Heather was great to communicate with and very informative regarding the area. She really has done a great job making this cabin cozy and beautiful and has put so much thought into what people may need to enjoy the full experience of her property. Stunning views from the beach, we were able to have a fire and watch the sunset. It was just the two of us this time but is a great property for kids too! Also, The local lobster shack she recommended was incredible! We enjoyed many meals there. Thank you for everything Heather!

Most amazing cabin in the woods with private beach access!

I can’t even begin to describe how beautiful this property is. It’s secluded with a beautiful woodsy, trail to your private beach for amazing sunsets. The owner was easy to reach and responded quickly. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed and more. I will definitely come back to this beautiful property.!!

The perfect Maine getaway

This was my family’s first trip to Maine. Based on the pictures alone, I was hoping this week would be special and it more than lived up to the hype. The space itself is perfect and checked all of our boxes for providing a great space for our two kids (ages 9 and 5), a place for a retreat, and providing beautiful views of Maine. We loved our daily walks to the private beach and sitting on our porch listening to all the birds and observing the wildlife. It’s in good proximity to stores and groceries if needed (Blue Hill and Ellsworth) and the was a reasonable drive to Acadia National Park to take in those sights. I can’t speak highly enough of this location and the host - Heather. She was an excellent communicator and provided us with whatever we needed in a very quick time. We can’t wait to come back again and I can’t recommend this higher. It was beautiful.

Always a Wonderful Experience.

Second time here. Property is a delight as is Heather, the owner. Off the beaten track location, which is nice, but not so far from a town that getting supplies is a drag. A few hundred feet to the rear you will discover a delightful wooded area then a few more steps to Morgan Bay. It’s truly like having your own personal beach. If you are a quiet nature lover, you’ll find your chi here. If not, you’ll still find it here. Did see a porcupine here racing us up the drive. That was new. 😝

Ahhhhhh

Arrived as the sun was setting and before we even unpacked we followed the pine scented path through the woods to the shore, letting the peacefullness and quiet settle into us after a long scenic drive through coastal Maine. The cabin was perfect for us; wecoming and cozy when returning from our daytime explorations of the Blue Hill Penninsula, Chastain, and Acadia. Late fall is an amazing time to be here, exploring the shoreline, walking through the leaves and spotting all kinds of mosses and mushrooms as well as so many varieties of evergreens with all their different aromas. Blue Hill Co-Op has a great cafe with all kinds of vegan, gluten- free, vegetarian and other healthy choices as well as sandwiches etc. and fresh baked goods. It's a,so a great grocery store if you like lots of healthy options. Provender Kitchen-Bar was a great choice for our last night! Heather was always very quick to respond to questions and offered great suggestions. The information group has a section about the property history; I wish had read it sooner. It was very informative about the land stewardship and agricultural usage. Next time I'll hike from shore to shore of the property! Thank you Dyer family.

My partner (Tim) and our two boys (Tommy and Liam) love to spend time exploring the woods, swimming at the beach and roasting marshmallows over a beach fire! It is a quiet spot with a relaxing front porch with an ocean breeze! We are so excited to share this special place with you!
