The Sandy Crab was a great place to stay. It had plenty of room, very clean and a great location. We enjoyed our stay at Mexico Beach and the Sandy Crab was perfect!

Great Stay!

This house far exceeded expectations. The walk to the beach was very easy, less than 3 minutes. We brought our own beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. but this place had it all and then some. The house itself is very spacious, clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Sandy Crab 2025

This Location was a lot of fun. It’s very spacious and clean. The canal in the back was a great spot to park my Waverunners. Cindy was easy to get into contact with, and check in and check out process was rather simple and straightforward.

Such a quiet area, yet just a short walk to the beach. We were so happy we could extend our stay! The Sandy Crab was clean and nicely furnished, we felt right at home!

This property was just as it shows and great location to the beach. We enjoyed all of the wonderfully stocked extras including a wagon for the beach and beach chairs! The owner was very quick to respond and good to work with…the whole experience was super smooth and highly recommended!

Loved it!

Very comfortable and well equipped! It was nice to be able to walk to the ocean, and come back to a quiet area on the canal if we wanted a break from the wind. We loved it so much that we extended our stay!

Relaxing, quiet beach vacation

The Sandy Crab was the perfect place for our family beach vacation. The house offered plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable and was tranquil and relaxing. The beach is a short walk away, and the place provides everything you need to enjoy your time there. Cindy was an excellent host and was a great communicator. We had a blast with our two-year-old and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mexico Beach.

Perfect stay!

The property was very clean, very well decorated and centrally located. The beach is close, you can see it from the front door and from the balcony off the queen bedroom and it’s very walkable! The back deck is perfect for drinking coffee in the mornings. The pool was also a very close walk and very nice. There’s a row of shops and some food truck/restaurants just up the sidewalk. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Beach Beauty

This property was perfect for our family vacation. The house is very clean and equipped with all the amenities you might need. The community pool is large and clean. The beach access is a very short stroll from the front door. The property manager was excellent. She promptly responded to all inquiries. Would stay here again. Mexico Beach is a gem!

A Mother to Remember

Since 2022 my family has gathered in Mexico Beach area in remembrance of my mother who remains where scattered around the bay. The Sandy crab provided yet another unique experience for my love ones to come as one to enjoy fun, laughter and to share the love we all have for my mother. Mexico Beach is an amazing place - It's a small beach town not covered-up with overcrowding and traffic (like some of our neighboring cities); Where enjoying the beach, and wildlife, and the relaxation of vacation is so much easier. One of my favorite things to do is curl up in the living room swing chair with coffee and a book from the library, or walk out to the beach for some sun and a piña colada. If you're looking for a relaxing and revitalizing beach vacation, The Sandy Crab is right for you. :)

There is a community pool and hot tub for your enjoyment during your stay, as well as private community boat docks to use for your watercraft during your stay. The canal behind our home leads right out to the Gulf of Mexico! :)
We pride ourselves on creating a very comfortable and relaxing environment for our guests - from luxury beds and and linens to a small library and other finishing touches. Our genuine hope is that you and your guests feel 'at home' during your stay.
*Please Note* - We do have 2 Ring doorbell cameras - 1 at the front and 1 at the side door - as well as a camera on our garage opener, that we use to keep our rental secured when we do not have guests. We don't actively monitor these after guests arrive, but they are always on, so please keep that in mind.
