Amazing view with kind staff!

We had a group of 12 stay for a long weekend and had an amazing time. The views from everywhere were spectacular and the staff kept the unit looking spotless. The communications were prompt and all our questions answered.

What an amazing place. A wonderful experience.

Our group of 14, celebrating a milestone birthday, couldn't have been more well cared for than with the lovely chef, bartender, and cleaning staff. Communication with the concierge and host was easy pre-trip, and during the trip as well. The chef created wonderfully tasty meals (breakfast every day, and dinner a few nights.) Our bartender not only kept us well hydrated with frozen blended cocktails, but kept the house in order.The penthouse itself: marvelous. We could not fault it at all. The pictures DO NOT do it justice! You have to walk in that first day, and just take in the view, the size of the terrace, the size of the rooms.

Best views in Puerto Vallarta

The penthouse is the highest point in Puerto Vallarta and provides sweeping views of the entire bay that are truly breathtaking. Each room is a great size with large bathrooms and closets. Each room has its own en suite bathroom other than 2 rooms that share a connected bathroom. Our group of 15 had plenty of space to stretch out throughout the 2 terraces and multiple living spaces. There is a fantastic bar in the middle of the lower floor where our house manager, Mauricio worked his magic. He made fantastic cocktails from 8a-8p and was an absolute joy to be around. The chef was available for 3 meals a day; his experience was best shown through more regional dishes like aguachile, guacamole and quesadillas. I highly recommend this property, my friends and I will be booking again in the future.

An unforgettable weekend

Can’t begin to describe what an incredible stay this was. We booked this space for my 30th bday and the staff were as welcoming, supportive and lovely as possible. From the second we arrived, Mauricio welcomed us with delicious cielo rojos while we toured the property. All of our guests were blown away by the property itself with unbeatable views and spacious accommodations. Can’t recommend this gorgeous compound and the accompanying magical staff enough.

Lovely stay in PV

This property was awesome for our group of 11 adults. The views of the lush jungle mountainous area in the back were only surpassed by the amazing ocean views in the front. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious as were all of the gathering areas. The wifi was good in most areas but not great in the bedrooms and outside sitting area on the South side of house. The pool was not really big or deep but it fit all us when we needed to cool off from the hot sun. The fireworks on NYE were amazing to see from our rooftop! This property is located up a pretty steep hill so walking up and down is a bit challenging. We usually took a short 5 min cab/uber ride into the downtown area. The closest beach was the Los Muertos Beach. It was nice but quite sloped for walking and waves were pretty high. It was fine for adults but might not be great for small children. It was also EXTREMELY crowded when we were there over New Years. The beaches in Nuevo are flatter for walking, smaller waves and not as crowded (better for children) however, our adult children wanted to be closer to downtown area so this location was great for them. The staff of 5 ( 2 cooks, 1 bartender/manager, 2 cleaners) at our property were great. They were friendly, very accommodating and basically did whatever they could to make our stay the best it could be. They even decorated for us on New Year's Eve which was very sweet. Their English was ok but it would be helpful to have a translation app handy for anything that is important to communicate. The groceries/liquor/tips need to be paid for in cash. It was all very reasonable but I didn't realize cash was needed and the ATMs charge a lot and sometimes run out of money at this time of year. Best to take enough so you don't have to worry about trying to get some there. Overall, this was a great stay and we would stay again.

Blew away my already high expectations!

The penthouse is gorgeous and very well equipped. But the most amazing part of the stay was the incredibly friendly, competent and sweet staff that were there for whatever was needed. The walk down hill is easy and it's a very inexpensive uber/taxi ride up so the views are worth being at the top of the hill! Stay here and you won't regret it!

Amazing property and staff

Beautiful penthouse on the top two floors of a condo complex. We had an amazing house staff that made sure we were worry free during our visit here. Would definitely visit this place again!

Prepare for the “Wow” experience!

I’m not even sure where to start with this review. First, Hector is a God-Send, allowing us to reserve this place last minute when another property fell through. Second, this place turned out to be a BETTER experience than even the original space offered. We really lucked out! Okay, for this review, let’s start at the beginning: As you approach the condo building, you find yourself creeping up the mountains of Amapas and here at the peak, lies Casa en Las Nubes. Waiting for you in the meditative lobby is Nicole, the joyous property manager who ethereal disposition immediately puts you at ease after a long journey. She escorts us to the upper lobby where she shows you the additional amenities of the gym and two expansive pools. You look out in wonder at the views and are then reminded that you still need to see the home. So you pick your jaw up off the ground and head to the tower elevator add press Penthouse. Then, you walk into the apartment. Greeting you are the fabulous staff of Santos (Cook Extraordinaire), Mauricio (Heaven-Sent Butler), and Karen & Laura (Housekeeping Ninjas - more on this later). As they take your bags, you are offered a welcome cocktail and you round the corner to see THE VIEW. Situated high above the hustle and bustle of Old Town, you see EVERYTHING. Looking out amongst the rooftops down to the streets, to the pier, and even the famous Blue Chairs or Los Muertos Beach - you know that you truly have the best view in the world. After you are shown to one of your exquisite rooms (each of which are well proportioned with lots of space, tasteful decorations, a dreamy bed, and an uninterrupted line of sight to that perfect view), you come back down to the most delicious guacamole and shrimp tacos, prepped by Santos, which holds you over until dinner. Throughout the trip, you are treated to fabulous meals that are expertly curated by Santos, have drinks and other supports served by Mauricio, and perfectly laundered and pressed items by Karen & Laura (who move in silence like jungle cats). They keep the Villa looking and feeling like the paradise it is. The pool is perfectly heated, meaning that an evening dip is absolutely required every night. The comfy seating and lounging areas spread throughout means that you never sit in the same seat twice. Finally, the location. While it is a trek up and down the mountain, the view makes its worth it. And taking advantage of the taxis or Ubers makes it a simple.

Casa en Las Nubes is a very unique property with more than 11,000 feet, is located in Romantic Zone, a neighborhood in Puerto Vallarta, and is in the city center and near the beach. Cruise Ship Terminal and Bay of Banderas are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Playa de los Muertos and Garza Blanca Beach. Los Arcos and Vallarta Zoo are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

The distance to the different places in the city is only a few minutes in any direction, the property is very central and its location is unbeatable. Puerto Vallarta, one of the most popular vacation spots in sunny Mexico. Take an evening stroll along the Malecon, the pedestrian promenade that lines the Puerto Vallarta coast. The area is a popular meeting place for locals and tourists and is lined with restaurants, street performers and food vendors. Enjoy a cool tejuino, a local drink made with fermented corn, or buy grilled fish by the skewer.

The Puerto Vallarta Botanical Gardens give insight into the local wildlife and vegetation. The gardens include conservation areas dedicated to the blue agave plant, used in tequila production, as well as native vanilla orchids.

Las Caletas is a small, private beach accessible only by water. Take the Vallarta Adventures catamaran to go on hikes in the jungle, visit a small zoo and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch. The beach is the former private residence of Hollywood director John Huston.
