Our proximity to nearby Daibooibai and Porto St. Marie makes Villa 19 the perfect place to explore different beaches from. Hope you tried the goat burgers at Porto Marie! They are delicious.

We encourage guests to report any issues during their stay as we have a maintenance team who would have quickly reset the breaker for the outdoor kitchen lights. Unfortunately, this was reported after the guest checked out so we didn't have an opportunity to resolve it during their stay. Thanks again and hope to have you back in the future!

Thanks for the wonderful review! We certainly enjoyed having you both stay with us! The unique layout of the villa is certainly one of the key factors that made us select the home as well as its privacy and how close it is to the resort amenities. We pride ourselves in the comfort of our outdoor spaces whether lounging in the sun chairs, under the shady protected overhang, in the hammock or when preparing a meal in the outdoor kitchen with bar area. While we certainly understand that bug bites are unfortunate we've found that by keeping the bedroom doors to the pool area closed that that will mitigate their entry into the sleeping areas. It's best to use the doors for access in and out, but leave them closed as much as possible to keep the area bug free. Hope to have you back in the near future!

Thanks for taking the time to notice the brand new high end outdoor kitchen and pool deck. We are glad you enjoyed the improvements! We're sorry for the issues, but are confident that this review is in response to collecting $60 to cover your party's damage. Our glass stovetop and toaster were both broken and will have to be replaced. We only charged $60US for the toaster and did not charge for the $1,200US stovetop, which, in hindisght, we should have. We ask our guests to promptly report any issues so that we can resolve them. The broken set screw on the door handle was resolved the day after you reported it. This would have easily been addressed while you were still at the house. You visited a house on a tropical island during rainy season. We have monthly extermination service to manages most pests. Had you reported any issues during your stay we would have addressed them. We have had pest control at the house since you visited. The best way to deal with mosquitoes is to use bug spray. The side gates to the house are for maintenance purposes and for our personnel to access the garden and pool. They are not for guest use. We appreciate when guests use the front door rather than the service entrances. Some of our trees have caused the pavers to be pushed up. We have plans to address this, but do not want to damage the trees and shrubbery as they enhance the appearance of the house. Thanks for your review.
