Weekend Trip

We wanted a weekend getaway and this place was perfect! It was close to everything downtown so a walk to 11th street was perfect one day. Rides to locations were quick and easy as well.

Inexpensive Stay but Nothing to Write Home About

We stayed here for a bachelorette. We were looking for somewhere inexpensive and relatively close to everything. It was about a $7-20 Uber ride to and from downtown Nashville. I would not say it’s walkable to the downtown strip. The area was relatively quiet. it does not seem any special care was taken to make this rental feel special or welcoming. For example the kitchen is not ready to be used. No cooking spray, no frying pan, minimal utensils and silverware. Basically just cups, a very small baking tray and a large pot. There was a washer and dryer but not even a small container of laundry detergent was supplied. The listing mentions a sofa bed but it’s actually a futon. Definitely not a pull out couch if thats what you’re expecting. The actual bed was comfortable. A good amount of towels and linens were provided. The place was clean enough but definitely looks like it hasn’t had a deep clean in quite a while. The walls and baseboards were dirty and there were scuffs all over the walls. The floors didn’t appear to be well mopped. There were questionable stains on the couch. If I’m on a budget I might consider staying there again, but you can tell it’s a property management owned unit and not someone’s home that they take pride in renting to travelers.

Ok Stay

The place itself was pretty nice and the neighborhood, while not the safest looking on first glance, was actually nice. The problem with the property though was that the actual combination on the lock to the front door did not work. I had to spend 20-30 minutes getting the combination for the physical key from the vacasa representatives in which I could finally open the door. Once I got in tho the security alarm started going off and I had to look for the one email that they mentioned the code to turn it off. The worst part was that we got in late and this all happened at like 8pm which was a terrible start to our time in Nashville. That being said, I do think that the apartment was located decently if you are fine with walking which we were (40 min walk to Broadway). The actual apartment was clean and they provided us with basic cleaning supplies which was nice. I gave it a 3/5 because of the issues listed above but if they fixed those then I would have given it a 5/5.
