All Around Horrible!! Vacation from Hell!!
Upon our arrival on 12/18/2023, we were profoundly shocked to discover that the information provided by the property listing was not only inaccurate but also misleading. They failed to disclose the necessity of a 4-wheel drive for accessing the property. This crucial piece of information was deliberately omitted from their listing. The link provided to check water levels proved to be utterly useless, as the lake was completely dry when we arrived. It is difficult for us to believe that they were unaware of this situation, especially considering the regular maintenance and cleaning crews that undoubtedly visit the property. Our troubles did not end there. On the first day, we discovered a mouse in the house and promptly notified them via text. Despite our immediate action, there was no response until we called, at which point we were informed that a resolution would be arranged for the following morning at 9am.Unfortunately, no one showed up, and we were left in the dark about the status of the issue. After speaking with someone in billing, we were informed that a refund could be obtained with evidence, which in this case was a picture. However, despite providing a picture of the rodent, (which host said was not a rat but a flying squirrel) we were still refused a refund or the option to be moved to another cabin. 3 days of excuses and I'm so sorry and refusing to refund us or move us to another cabin. Their option was to offer 1 attraction ticket and refund us for 2 day.
