Nestled in the woods is Deer Creek Getaway. This two-bedroom, two-full-bath cabin is the perfect place for a mountain getaway. Nicely appointed with two king beds, a fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace in the great room and wood burning fireplace on the welcoming screened porch over looking Deer Creek. Abundant wildlife, fresh air and relaxation await! It's the perfect location for a romantic getaway or a quiet long weekend with friends and family. Explore the creek, koi pond and log lean-to. Or, combine work and relaxation. The cabin has fiber optic cable and wireless internet for quick and easy connections! There is a counter-height table with two stools for lap tops and files. It is conveniently located off of Highway 76 in an upscale, gated community in Morganton, GA. There are loads of restaurants, shops, trails and water recreation opportunities just minutes away in Blue Ridge and Blairsville, Georgia.
For everyone's security there is a ring doorbell beside the front door and a camera to record activity in the driveway. There are no cameras located inside the cabin.

Communication on our Booking was excellent with timely responses and accommodation of our requests. Entering the cabin overshadowed the drive up with the cozy, quaint and romantic atmosphere. We really enjoyed the fireplace. It was a bit cold to sit at the outside fireplace but the setting was really nice. Lighting needs attention. Maybe some bright, dimmable lights and new towels. Other than that, welcoming, well equipped and relaxing stay! Thank you so much! We will come again!!!

The cabin was very clean and extremely cozy! Even better in person than in the photos. We were given all the needed instructions in advance and had a great stay!

The hospitality was great. When we walked into the house it was amazing, very clean and the view was beautiful. It was very quiet all day long. It was very relaxing thank you for wonderful memory.

Our third stay at Deer Creek and once again LOVED everything! The house is in a great location and is very well equipped. We travel with my elderly parents and the house is very accessible for them! We saw dozens and dozens of deer this year. And enjoyed a lovely fire every night on the porch. Already booked for next year! Thanks Tom and Keli!

Wonderful stay.

This stay over Valentine’s Day weekend was nothing short of perfect. It was rainy but the coziness of the cabin made it feel incredibly peaceful. The hosts provided a great cabin and experience for us that has us thinking of returning. Thank you for letting us stay!

Second Visit

This was our second stay at the property and it once again exceeded our expectations. We arrived to beautiful Christmas decorations that made it feel very festive! Lots of deer visits including a group of around 7 young ines that played for almost 30 minutes right in the yard. This is a lovely property and the hosts are excellent!

Cabin in the woods

Beautiful, newer cabin in a gated community. Loved the fireplace and beds are very comfortable! Only 15 minutes back to Blue Ridge. Would highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

Great Autumn Trip to Blue Ridge, GA

The property is situated in a cozy, private subdivision. Two gates on way to cabin made us feel safe and secure. The only drawback to location is a bit of gravel road that was particularly rough to drive in late October. Remaining drive is paved and well maintained. It is a peaceful and tranquil property with a wonderful and spacious screened in deck elevated back porch with a lovely brick enclosed fireplace. Ample seating is available for a larger group to enjoy this cabin. It also has an outdoor seating area surrounding a firepit. Further down a hillside slope is a bench seat to enjoy the falling leaves and birdsong. The cabin itself has 2 lovely bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms. The beds are extremely comfortable and we slept great each night. The kitchen provided everything needed to cook breakfast each morning and supper each night of our stay. We were surprised by 2 uncarved pumpkins on the porch greeting our arrival. It was a very nice touch for our stay during the week of Halloween. The owners also provided a wonderful themed velour/fleece throw for any cooler nights of our trip. We enjoyed Vogle State Park, Mercier Orchards, the scenic train ride to Tennessee, a few hikes with waterfalls, the drive-in movie theater, and a UTC rental (which I cannot recommend to anyone for several reasons). This was a wonderful vacation rental overall. A special shout out to Tom who was so communicative and helped us work through a problem. He was so patient and helpful. Thanks!

Fall Color in the Ga. Mountains

This beautiful mountainside property is perfect for a couple looking for peace and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our 8-night visit during the peak of the fall color-change season. Our hosts were wonderful people; very accommodating folks who thought of everything we needed on our trip. The cabin is in a beautiful spot secluded in the N. Georgia woods. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect getaway!

Best Getaway

My husband really enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at Deer Creek! It was a beautiful cabin with the perfect location and tranquil environment. Highly recommend to those looking to get away and unwind or to take in all the area has to offer. We biked, kayaked and walked downtown Blue Ridge. It was perfect!

Thanksgiving Break

The cabin was very clean and was already decorated for Christmas! There was an amazing outdoor fireplace and screened patio as well as a large fire pit. Property was nice and easy to access. Had a great stay!

I grew up hiking and camping in the mountains and forests in the Appalachians and Rockies. Our discovery of the Blue Ridge area goes back to the 1990s, beginning with a cub-scout weekend in a cabin that I would have loved to own. My wife and I began looking for the right property years ago before finding the perfect little getaway. We have made this cabin what we have always wanted, knowing that people we share it with, including you, friends and family will appreciate the same great features. My wife and I have owned multiple properties for years; i work with folks in construction and she has done kitchen, bath and general remodeling and upgrading and decorating for decades. We apply all of our experience with what guests enjoy to making this a comfortable and beautiful home. We hope you will love your stays at Deer Creek Getaway for years to come !

We love the area and this neighborhood! Its so close to everything we love to do including enjoying the outdoors, wildlife viewing, hiking, off-road driving, shopping and eating out. When we walked in the front door of this cabin it took only a minute to know we wanted it to be ours! It's the perfect size, all one-floor and has a beautiful secluded view of the woods.

The combination of a wooded view, small creek, fire pit and two fireplaces are just some of the wonderful amenities of this property. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, the open-concept great room and kitchen are perfect for relaxing and dining. Outside the screened porch with the fireplace is perfect for enjoying a nice meal together or watching the cardinals, hummingbirds, deer, and wild turkeys that visit on a regular basis! Another great feature is that this house is secluded and quiet yet an easy drive just off the Appalachian Highway. The property is off of a paved road and with only a short drive on a gravel road to our paved road.
