By reserving this condo, you have secured the confidence that you and your family will experience the most upscale form of vacationing available in Galveston! You will leave your vacation with a smile and memories to last a lifetime. Your condo is lavishly decorated and designed with all the comforts of home. This unit has free WiFi, 3 flat-screen TV's, a large fully stocked kitchen, granite countertops, a huge soaking tub, a rain shower, and a view from your balcony that will take your breath away! The primary bedroom has king bed, 2nd bedroom has a new queen bed, the third bedroom has a twin over full pyramid bunk and a twin trundle.

DIAMOND BEACH RESORT
Diamond Beach Resort is a five-star, luxury getaway, located on the West End, just at the end of the Seawall, world’s longest continuous sidewalk. All units offer a private balcony with expansive and unobstructed Gulf Views. Guest will be able to watch the waves roll in and crash against the Seawall, watch the seagulls and pelicans fly overhead and look down below to the outdoor pool and lazy river, without leaving your condo. Diamond Beach Resort amenities include a three-tiered 300′ cascading infinity outdoor pool, 750′ outdoor lazy river (guests must bring own tubes)(peak season 11 am – 7 pm), two outdoor hot tubs, outdoor swim-up bar and grill (peak season), sand volleyball court, cornhole, chess, ping pong, grills (9 am – 7 pm by reservation), cabana rentals (9 am – 5 pm by reservation), outdoor shower, indoor heated pool, outdoor veranda perfect for watching the sunset, game room, Ocean Movie Theater (open to public before 3 pm and private reservations after that time), Wine and Dine Room, children’s Jungle Playroom, 24/7 fitness center, 24/7 business center, conference room, vending machines, secure building and gated community. Some amenities are seasonal only. The waterslide amenity is no longer offered at this resort.

The resort was amazing! We loved all the pools and amenities. Probably the best condominium we have stayed at in this area. Only con was condo wasn’t as clean as I would like. Floors were somewhat dirty. Cookware wasn’t clean- some still had some dried food on them. Bare minimum supplies- bars of soap for hand washing- no liquid soap. Only 1 bag for trash, etc. Left much to be desired and communication was very, very minimal.

Great option for a family. Enjoyed the second floor view better than our friend's higher floor view - had an infinity ocean effect. Comfortable furnishings and overall great stay. Would give 5 stars if there were a few more basics in kitchen (extra trash bag, an extra toilet paper roll, more than one cutting board, more than one dish towel), but otherwise was great! I recommend this resort

Amazing resrt! Great pool and lazy river! Clean fresh watet at good temp. Whole resort was super well cared for and clean. Great seating areas around pool. Wonderful toddler playroom.attentive and customer oriented staff all over. Great communication and response from vrbo host. Condo also wonderful and clean. May need to make a grocery run for essentials such as hand soap or bring your own if driving locally. We would love to return for another vacation here if ee get an opportunity.

Great pool

Loved the location, pool wonderful and very clean. Walk to beach was long, Need better shower area at beach path to hose off feet and beach gear. Game room needed more actuates Would be nice to have outdoor shuffle boards. Over all great experience.

I wish I had read the reviews before booking this unit. My family has stayed at Diamond Beach more than nine times, and we’ve always loved it, but this was our first experience with this property management company, and it was extremely disappointing.We arrived to a strong bleach smell that triggered my asthma and found an old pizza left on the kitchen counter. The couches were deteriorating and shedding, leaving the furniture and floors covered in what looked like sand. The ice maker made ice but wouldn’t dispense it, and none of the TVs worked with streaming apps because they required activation codes.The biggest concern was safety. While setting up our children’s room, I reached behind the TV to turn it on, and it nearly fell off the wall because it wasn’t securely mounted. Thankfully, my 3-year-olds weren’t standing there.There was also loud banging in the walls whenever water was used, the AC leaked into the guest bathroom, and despite calling and texting every day, no one from maintenance ever came.We also overlooked construction equipment because the pool area was under construction.We work hard and save for family vacations, so this was incredibly disappointing. Diamond Beach is a wonderful property, but based on this experience, I would not book a unit managed by this company again.

Awesome property with a few minor improvements needed

The resort was awesome with great amenities. The unit we stayed in was clean and very nice but a lot of things were not well attached to the wall (towel holders, toilet paper holders, and even the thermostat). I would recommend the unit cause it’s really nice but would love to see those few things fixed if we were to come back.

Excellent for Weekend Family Getaway

We stayed here with our two kids for the weekend and it was wonderful. The pool is perfect for small children and so much fun. Loved that you could walk right outside to the beach instead of having to cross the busy street to get to the seawall. The playroom was also really nice to have for the middle of the day when you want to keep the little ones out of the blazing sun. The kids were so happy playing on the beach and in the pool. We truly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go back.

I would not stay here again. The home did not even have basic necessities such as handSoap, sufficient towels and pool towels, they advertise the pool as an amenity but yet there are no pool towels, if you’re traveling from out of state you do not have an abundance of items like hand soap and pool towels. When an amenity is advertised it typically means included such as the wash and dryer but no actual soap. Ryson is what I consider skimping on cleaning. I found two different socks, the apparent fully stocked kitchen is random items that aren’t even enough to cook with. Even the front desk staff said we are scared to checked in ryson guests and another said I would not book with them. The walls are covered in black marks and floors filthy dirty. All the wall mounts such as towel racks and toilet paper holders are broke.

Spring break 2024

We had a great time in Galveston. This property was perfect for my family! The location was super convenient, the amenities were great! Although it was a little cool and windy for swimming outside, the indoor pool was great! My only complaints would be that it took a really long time to get warm water and there was water leaking from the fridge. We had a great time and would absolutely stay here again!

The pools, lazy river, swim up bar and outdoor entertainment area was lovely. Access to beach easy and convenient. The living room furniture is old and in great need of replacement especially the fabric pieces and the rickety coffee table. The ceiling fan could not be used bc no batteries in the remote - it would only run with the ceiling light on. Can light bulbs were out. Guest bathroom toilet had to be plunged with each use. The tv in the bunk room could not be used bc no remote was provided. Lamp in that room did not work. Beds in guest rooms were comfy - master not so much. Dirty clothes found in dresser drawers in master. To get hot water from any faucet the water has to run for a min of 8 minutes - we timed it. I never got hot water in the kitchen. This really bothered us bc of the gross waste of water in a state where drought is always a threat. The kitchen was not well equipped with utensils - knives were sad, no egg flipper, one towel. Patio furniture was nice but the rug under the chairs was in need of replacement. Table umbrella pictured online is not on property so eating outside not great in the sun and that is the only dining table. This unit sleeps 8 but seating is barely adequate for 4. The unit was not as we expected.

BOI returns home

As a BOI, my standards are high for when I come back home to the island. However, instead of staying with fam and friends we decided to try something new and this didn’t disappoint! The pools and lazy river and amenities were awesome- something for everyone!! Can’t wait to stay again soon!! Our new go-to! Clean and friendly.

Just as pictured - only negative thing was the bathtub didn't drain very well and it was difficult to change from shower to faucet. Everything else was great. Diamond Beach is our favorite place to stay in Galveston with their amazing pools, hot tubs and most of all, the lazy river.
