We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Spacious condo with plenty of room, beautiful views from the balcony, and walking distance to the beach. The pool was warm, and we could've spent hours in the lazy river.

The condo was nice but lacking commonly needed items:-There only 5 forks! -There were only 4 washcloths! (had to buy some at Walmart) -No household cleaner (had to buy) -No pasta strainer (sieve) -No tongs and the list went on.Most importantly, the dishwasher did not work! The soap dispenser would NOT OPEN! Only 1 of the 2 bedside lamps worked.(knob broken). The shower heads were disgustingly coated in mold and looked like they had never been cleaned in many months.

Great place!

Nice, very clean. Well stocked kitchen and loved the shampoo/conditioner and body wash provided in bathrooms! Will definitely stay here again!

Great location

The location was great. The house wasn’t very well equipped. Bring your own towels and forks! And it should list that you can’t have any guest at the pool unless they are staying at the condo. We would stay here again for sure.

Great Thanksgiving Vacation!

Our family of 17 stayed at Diamond Beach Resort (in multiple condos) over Thanksgiving week. The resort was wonderful and everyone was so helpful. We enjoyed the hot tubs, private theater, game room, gym, etc. The condo itself was well stocked with everything we needed and was very comfortable. We’re already talking about coming back next year! Thanks for allowing us to use your beautiful place!

Quick family getaway.

We had a quick family getaway to go watch our great niece play softball. Over other property was very nice. The pools were amazing and it’s hard to beat the view from the condo. The unit was well equipped with all the basics. We did have some issues with the programmable AC unit, but management was quick to respond. I would recommend you find out how to override Ac system as the schedules on it as it was programmed to keep resetting. I would definitely rent again.

Best beach spot

We came to Galveston for the beach and the relaxation. I don’t think there’s a better property on the whole island for this. It’s at the south end of the sea wall and has a huge awesome private pool. Out the south west end of the property there’s a private gate and you’re on the beach! All other properties require you to cross the busy Seawall boulevard. The downside to the property is you’re a good 15-20 minute drive away from all the food and shopping but it is an easy drive. The condo was very comfortable. Highly recommend this place!

Nice stay, but..

Nice property, would have been nice to know the slide has been gone for quite sometime. Since it’s in the pictures, the kids were expecting it to be available. The game room could have been a hit, but not 1 of the machines worked.

Great Extended Weekend Getaway

The Condo was excellent. Exactly as advertised. Very roomy for the 6 of us.....and an oversized Balcony! No complaints at all about the Condo. The only minuses about the stay was the "not so easy" access to the Beach and the Elevators at the ends of the building made every trip to the Pool or our Vehicle a major journey!

Great Place

This has to be one of the BEST condos we stayed in. One of the bedroom lights didn’t work but it wasn’t a big deal. Condo was clean, nice pool and lazy river area, theatre for the teens, outside bar was great. I think they were a little short staffed but it overall it was PERFECT! Will definitely be back! 😊

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay in room 606! The large balcony was our favorite- we spent every morning and evening there, enjoying the amazing view with dolphin sightings and pelican watching. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for the four of us. The condo was nice and looks just like the pictures! We were disappointed the pool was still closed due to the hurricane, but the lazy river and indoor pool was open. The walk to the beach was short and easy and the beach had a lifeguard! (No chair rentals, you need to bring your own)

Beautiful

Our stay was wonderful. The view, pool and location was great for our needs. The property staff was very helpful. Our disappointment was the condo was not very clean. We had to move some dirty clothes from a drawer, we washed all the towels due to finding a damp towel unfolded in the linen closet. Otherwise the condo was a perfect size for our family.

Three generations of fun

Only negative was not enough hand towels or wash cloths although the front desk took care of us. Could have used another set of kitchen towels and more cups. We ran the dishwasher once but the soap didn't release so we just washed and dried from then on which was fine. Otherwise had a great time.

Air conditioning needed help from 2 dehumidifiers provided. Thermostat kept giving a humidity warning. We were not on property all day, visiting friends who live in Galveston. Upon return to the condo Friday night and again Saturday night, we found the unit muggy and warm despite having set the temp to 70 F before leaving in the morning. We finally noticed the dehumidifiers and turned them on. They helped, but I’ve stayed at this resort for 3 summers in other units and never had this problem before. Also, one of the sinks in the primary bath would not drain properly. For what we paid to stay here, the problems we experienced were disappointing.

Family vacation and birthday

Ruth, so sorry my review was not included. Your condo more than met our expectations. We have rented condos and houses before that state they are "fully equipped" only to find we should have brougt extra paper products, condiments, etc. Ruth knows what fully equipped encompasses and surpassed all of our expectations. This is definitely the best rental experience we've had and we can't say enough about the condo, the property, and of course, Ruth. She made everything so easy for us...all we had to do was arrive and enjoy. Our girls wanted to make waffles for themselves in the morning, so we purchased a toaster and left it in the cabinet for Ruth and her future guests. Looking forward to a return visit soon. I spent my summers as a youth on the beaches of Texas. Galveston has always had a special place in my heart. Beautiful sunrises, sunsets and abundant wildlife in an enriched marine environment. The locals are pretty amazing too.

I bought this condo because there is no other place in Galveston, or anywhere along our coast, that comes close to what Diamond Beach has to offer. Great location and amazing amenities.

You don't have to leave the property to enjoy your stay in Galveston. There is something for everyone. But if you do want more, Galveston delivers!!
