Overall, we had a very good stay. We were just looking for a few days away for my kids fall break - fishing and kayaking. I’m glad we took our kayaks, the inlet where this property is located was very shallow, but smooth for kayaking. Not good for fishing, since the water was low.
As mentioned in other reviews - the beds (master bed in particular) were very hard, and worn out (you roll towards the middle).
I’m concerned that the new flooring was laid without a subfloor - I think someone will step through the floor.
They must have recently had a new roof or some other construction - the driveway was covered in nails and screws - and I had to stop on the side of the road on the way home and change my tire. Uugh.
The dock was a great place to hang out. We did start a fire in their fire pit - but they have it located under a huge tree, which didn’t seem safe (especially since we learned later that there’s a burn ban).
Property was as described - Host was very responsive. My dogs loved the fenced in yard!
