Perfect Lakefront Family Getaway. FIRE PIT, KAYAKS, FISHING, NO WAKE COVE.

Nestled in a quiet, swim-and-fish friendly cove. Enjoy a gorgeous sunrise with your morning beverage on one of TWO screened in porches. Then head out on the paddle boat or kayaks to explore our beautiful cove (maybe you will catch a glimpse of our resident herons!). Our cove is coveted for fishing, and you may even catch your dinner from the dock!

Enjoy your day on the private dock while you catch the rays and dip in the calm water. Gather for a barbecue lunch followed by a game of cornhole on the "MISSOURI FLAT" LAKESIDE YARD! Enjoy all of the amenities LOTO has to offer, such as watercraft rentals and parasailing! We are around the 11MM close (by land and water) to several favorite lakeside hangouts including Franky and Louie's, Lakehouse 13, Paradise Restaurant and Bar, and JB Hooks! And we are just a 15 minute drive from the Bagnell Dam Strip with loads of shops and fun restaurants for kids, adults and families!

If you get a little rain, our game room garage is set up for a great time! Ping Pong, Cornhole, and Giant Connect 4 to name a few. Can you beat our top volley? We keep a mini fridge in there as well for the many "tournaments" that take place! We have also installed a disc golf putting basket lakeside for some short game practice-so bring your discs!

Fire up the fire pit down by the lakeside for some s'mores and storytime. Finally, snuggle up in the downstairs living area and break out the board games or watch a movie!

Our home sleeps 8-10 comfortably in beds with a Primary en-suite on the main level (king bed and private bath), two bedrooms downstairs (queen beds) with a shared bathroom, and a super comfortable futon in the downstairs living area (queen). If you have a couple of extra guests or kids, there is a trundle daybed as well in the downstairs living area (2 twin sized beds).
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make all of your meals at home! There is a kitchenette in the downstairs living area with a small fridge and a microwave. Also, a propane gas grill is available for all of your grilling needs.

**New additions**. The fire pit is finished and ready for s'mores this summer!

We installed brand new WET STEPS and we love them! So easy (and safe!) to get in and out of the water for the whole family!

You will truly get the feel for "Lake Life" at Our Happy Place @ourozarkhappyplace, while still feeling comfortable and at home. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do!

Please be respectful of our lovely neighbors. Quiet time starts roughly at 10pm. ABSOLUTELY NO FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY OR DOCK.
No parking in the garage. There is plenty of space in the circle driveway for up to 6 cars.
Use of the boat slips and lifts is not included in the rental. Please feel free to tie your boat or PWCS to the side of the dock with bumpers.

Amazing!

Absolutely wonderful experience! Host communicated with us every step of the way. The home was clean, lots of space, beautiful spot on the lake, arrival gift was perfect! If we return to ozarks we will definitely be booking this home again

Lovely property, really enjoyed the dock with its little bar area , the kids swam right off the dock and from the property right across the canal was the boat rental place . Lindsay and her husband Chris were very nice and responded when needed, will be coming back

The property was great. There was 5 of us. We spent 9 days at this property. The house was very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Spent a lot of time at the dock floating. We rented a pontoon for our 9 days. Went out everyday boating. Was great working with Lindsay. If we had questions they responded quickly. Close to grocery and restaurants. Great place! Will definitely rent again.

Great Get-away

This happy place is amazing. It is super clean and Lindsay is a super nice host. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. I would recommend this place for anyone with a group that loves to relax and spend time together. A great place to fish, swim, play games, and enjoy the view of the lake. It is easy to find and easy to get into. My family and I had a great time. We definitely would stay here again.

Beautiful dock

Gorgeous setting! House was amazing and had a well stocked kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, coffe maker, etc. We all slept very comfortably in very cozy beds. Beautiful dock with easy water steps for in and out. We caught catfish, blue gill and bass off the dock. The kayaks and paddle boat were fun to use.

Lakehouse vacation

Took a family vacation to the Ozarks, our stay here was perfect. clean, homey feeling, all the amenities we needed. The kids had so much fun on the dock and using the paddle boat and kayaks. We had 4 adults and 5 teenagers, I was a little concerned about the sleeping arrangements, but it worked out just fine. Hope to go back.....

Happy Place on the lake

We’ve stayed a lot of places, houses, condos, coves - and this was by far our favorite. The house was everything we needed and we spent many, many hours on the dock. Thank you for sharing your happy place with us and your hospitality, and we hope to be back again next year!

Top Shelf Service

We came down for a Family weekend at the lake and after searching through 20-30 Places to stay we felt this home best suited out needs. From the time we walked in the door we felt right at home. The hosts are absolutely awesome and stocked us up with lots of snacks and bottled water in the fridge. The house was extremely clean! The dock was over the top nice with newer composite decking and the recently added swim steps. If I Could rate it higher I would but 5 Stars is all it will allow. No doubt in my mind we will be back!

Great Place for a family!

This place was well decorated, clean, and lots of stuff to do for the family. We would definitely stay here again and plan on it next year! Grocery store nearby. Boat rentals across the cove! Just a great place.

Excellent Property, Hosts, and Location!

Our family of six all really enjoyed our stay! The property amenities all exceeded the pictures, and we spent a lot of time on the dock enjoying the lake. We also took advantage of the boat rental place just a short paddle boat ride across the cove. Very pleasant and quiet cove and neighborhood, and the hosts were very inviting and responsive! Will rent again if we have the chance!

Loved it!

The house was very clean, set up well, and homey. The cove was perfect for our family to fish and swim. We rented a boat directly across the cove from the house and they were great. Our host was very accommodating and responsive. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Family Vacation

We highly recommend this listing. We have rented lake homes for several years in a row, this one is by far the best yet! The owner went above and beyond and was very accommodating and very quick to answer any questions we had. The grandkids really enjoyed the welcome basket and personal note from the owner. Everything was very clean and everything needed was provided. We really enjoyed your home, dock and the water toys. The game room was exceptional, and provided lots of family time. This was the best family vacation we have had. We will definitely look forward to booking again next year.

Wonderful Waterfront Retreat - Perfect for Families!

We had an amazing stay at this delightful house! The owner was attentive and provided all the amenities we needed, and more. With 4 adults and 4 kids in our group, we all slept comfortably and enjoyed every aspect of our vacation. The house had everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen and cozy bedrooms. Our favorite spot was the dock, where the water was perfect for jumping in and we caught plenty of fish right off the pier. We also had a great time using the paddle boat and kayak to explore the surroundings. We were thrilled to find a convenient boat rental place just across the channel, making it easy for us to enjoy a day of boating. Overall, this waterfront retreat exceeded our expectations and is highly recommended for families seeking a peaceful getaway. A big thank you to the owner for providing such a wonderful vacation destination.

Perfect for Family Memories

This home was absolutely perfect for hosting my family to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday! We loved the lake house decor and is well stocked with all of your essentials. Lindsay, the host, was exceptional at communicating and ensured we had an amazing experience from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend this home and look forward to returning in the future!

Wonderful Experience!

From start to finish, this was an amazing rental experience! The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated during our stay! The house is clean and updated and was the perfect location for our family get-together. The easy access to the dock and lake made it such a fun experience! The ping-pong table and garage hang-out space was a nice bonus! :)

Great House, Very good host

Lindsey was awesome with communication and very accommodating with a couple of the small things that came up. Pros: -Dock with tie up cleats at the end of a no wake channel we tied our 24ft boat up all weekend with no problem -Very nice updated house -Driveway easily accommodated full size truck, car and boat trailer and had room for 2 more. -Close to gas, grocery story and a hardware store -On the water gas station 5 min from the house. -Public boat ramp was 5 min drive away. Would strongly consider staying here next year, especially if they made the lift available so the boat did not have to sit in the water all weekend.

Fantastic home

We absolutely loved staying in this home, it was the perfect retreat for my family and my brother’s family to spend a relaxing long weekend at the lake. Lindsay was amazing, made everything so easy and was responsive to questions which were few due to how well she informed us prior to the stay. Everything was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and we were even greeted with a thoughtful welcome package! We enjoyed being in a quiet cove where we could swim right off the dock. We made s’mores and shared stories while sitting around the fire pit. We even had a night where we all sat and watched a movie downstairs. My boys loved using the garage which was set up with a ping pong table. Seriously nothing bad to say about our experience, we are already talking about when we can come back!
