Welcome to Splashing Bear Lodge!

This family and pet friendly pool cabin was newly built in 2018 and offers top notch amenities for guests to enjoy. This cabin has 4 en-suite bedrooms, and sleeps 12. The property has an arcade room, a gourmet kitchen, a heated swimming pool, and spectacular views! The 3-story cabin is located in the prestigious Black Bear Ridge Resort community which offers a swimming pool, spa amenities, and wedding chapel on-site.

The cabin is 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge Parkway, and minutes from popular hiking trails, waterfalls, restaurants, Dollywood/Splash Country, and many other local attractions.

The main level is open concept with a spacious living room equipped with plush leather furniture, a sleeper sofa, a stacked stone fireplace, a large smart HDTV, and high speed Wi-Fi (600 mbps download) that extends throughout the cabin. The modern gourmet kitchen comes fully stocked and features top of the line range stainless appliances, a wine cooler, granite counter tops, and counter top seating for 3. The dining area offers two tables and seating for 10. The main level deck is perfect for a day of relaxation with rocking chairs and breathtaking views.

The upper level of the cabin has 4 bedrooms with en-suite baths, 3 of the bedrooms offer a king log bed, while the 4th bedroom is equipped with a spacious queen over queen bunk bed. Each room has its own flat screen HDTV with access to popular streaming channels.

The lower level of the cabin is made for family fun. Take a dip in the heated indoor swimming pool or relax in the outdoor spa located on the lower deck. The pool room offers a 65-inch HDTV with surround sound, and the lower level also boasts an arcade room with multiple games. The lower level also houses a separate room for the efficiency washer and dryer.

For your pets, we provide a large dog cage to save you the inconvenience of bringing one from home.

While in town some popular attractions include Ober Gatlinburg, The Island, Anakeesta Gatlinburg, and the arts and Crafts community in Gatlinburg.

Bring your four-legged friends and family to Splashing Bear Lodge and enjoy all the smokies has to offer.

There is no access to the Black Bear Ridge community pool or amenities center.

The indoor pool is cleaned every Tuesday and Friday between the hours of 8-5. The pool company has a unique door code and will let themselves in and out even if the cabin is rented.

The cabin was very clean and the beds, comfortable. The views of the mountainside were perfect! The host’s instructions were thorough where we didn’t to contact them for additional information. The pool was clean and the water, warm.

This property was amazing! It was beautiful inside with spacious well-decorated rooms, each having an ensuite bathroom. Loved that! My grandsons loved the huge bunk beds. The long farmhouse table was great for meals. The game table was nice so the kids could leave their games out. We cooked 2 meals a day in the kitchen. And the inside pool was a hit, as was the jacuzzi. And the view was gorgeous. We loved this place and highly recommend it.

The location of the property was nice, but we are from way out of town and didnt realize how hilly it was going to be. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. One member of our party got a piece of glass in her foot near the pool (which happened before we checked in). The kitchen was fully stocked and it was nice that the bedrooms all had bathrooms. The two "pain points" that we had was that we had to take our own trash to the dump and without a truck it would have almost been impossible. The other thing was that the property is advertised as pet friendly but they dont tell you that its an additional 200 until after the contract is signed. All in all it wasnt a bad property for the price.

Family Reunion

What an amazing property! We were in town for a family reunion and our first time in the area. Our cabin was perfect for the occasion. We enjoyed the cabin so much we decided to stay an extra day. The staff was quick to respond and accommodate our family. We were close to everything we needed and more.

Spacious property with amazing Mountain View’s!

This is a large home with 4 bedrooms, each with an attached bathroom. The game room kept the teens entertained as well as the adults! Well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes and cookware. Beautifully decorated. Some areas need a little maintenance (glass door on shower loose, flooring installed poorly, dishwasher top rack broke) but this did not affect the quality of our stay. The front deck is amazing with lovely rocking chairs.

Beautiful property!

We throughly enjoyed our stay - it felt like a splurge! Absolutely beautiful space with nice views and convenient location. Highly recommend. We stayed with extended family (11 total) and the space was perfect. The kids loved the pool. The space was extremely clean other than a moldy shower curtain. Note that the room with bunk beds does not have 2 queens beds in addition to the bunk beds. There is only the bunk bed which is a queen over queen. The way VRBO showed the room was misleading and we were expecting two extra beds. Improvements: hot tub was cold at check in. Coffee creamer cups needed to be replaced. Would appreciate k cups Included for the price of this place. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Thanksgiving Stay

This cabin was perfect for our Thanksgiving vacation. Communication was great both before and during the stay. The indoor pool and hot tub were a hit with everyone and the kids loved the game room. We would definitely stay here again.

Mountain heaven

Went to celebrate a family birthday. Bedrooms were fantastic along with the mountain views. Close to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. Only downside was great room furniture old and tattered. Kitchen had lots of dishes but not much for cookware. Enjoyed the refreshing air and rocking chairs on the balconies. Recommend this lodge M

Great family getaway

We had an excellent family getaway to Pigeon Forge including our first trip to Dollywood. Splashing Bear Lodge was a great fit for us because of its convenient location, perfect size, and of course, the pool. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive when we had difficulty with the hot tub.

Very clean Cabins were right on top each other. Don’t think owner should discriminate “dog friendly” just bc my dogs weigh more than 20-30 pounds is not right. We had a little 10 pound dog next door to us yapping away😢😬 my dogs are the most behaved and lazy animals Couch could be replaced. But overall nice trip

Perfect Cabin!

Loved this property! It was the perfect amount of space for our two families (five kids total). Everyone had ensuite bathrooms and televisions. The kids loved the pool and gameroom. Us adults loved the views and the fully equipped kitchen! Would definitely stay here again.

Good place for multi family

Texas, Ga and Ky family stayed at the cabin and had a great time . If you like air conditioning this is your house it works great! The game room was fun and of course the pool. Our only complaint was you can’t lock the pool door . There was a shelf that was in the game room that we moved in front of the door . That worked but would recommend a door alarm

Karen is originally from Vermont, She moved to Tennessee in 2021 and has fallen in love with the Smokies. Her passion is helping investors in their purchase of cash-flowing short-term rentals in Tennessee. Karen has lived in Tennessee a short time, but her roots are already deep! She is a top 10 realtor in the smokies and she owns a coffee shop, The Heavenly Roast in Wears Valley, and she just opened the National Park Bakery and Market across the street!

Nick is a Director at a National Corporate/Investment Bank where he has structured and closed over $70 Billion in transaction value, primarily in support of large corporate leveraged buyouts. Nick is originally from the Los Angeles area, but as an avid outdoorsman and traveler, Nick enjoys disconnecting from big city life. The Smokies provide Nick and his family the perfect place to unwind, and enjoy all of the beautiful benefits that the Smokies have to offer! In addition to enjoying mountain life, Nick and his family enjoy fishing, traveling, sports (especially football), and the local cuisine!

Karen and Nick strive to create one of a kind experiences in their accommodations. They would be honored to have you and your guests stay at Splashing Bear Lodge.
