Good location and house layout is well done, but it needs to be thoroughly cleaned (including all windows). And the water pressure is poor in the bedrooms. Unlikely we will return unless these issues are resolved.

John, you stated everything was great right after your check in so I am confused how your opinion changed after 10 days of stay. There is no daily cleaning in VRBO properties so maybe you are more used to staying in hotels that you receive daily cleaning. You mentioned windows are dirty which is not true. They are older and are fogged due to humidity so there is no way to clean inside the space between the glasses. You rented a 3 bedroom 2 full bath house in a nice neighborhood for tire price of an average hotel room without any of the amenities the house offers so I think your expectations should be rechecked. Also, I would have appreciated it if you had let me know if you wanted to have extra guests in the house. Your reservation was for 2 people. Unfortunately I will not be accepting you in my house again and I will not recommend you to any other hosts.

The property was not for me I was not comfortable with the cameras specially the one facing the swimming pool. Also no blinds on the windows in the living room and kitchen. No privacy it was not for me but very clean property.

Kenneth, your first question was about smoking and vaping and although you said you would respect the house rules, the morning after I received a message from you complaining about windows and outside camera!!!! The images clearly show all the spaces in the house. The main window in living room is covered by a large fig tree and the rest are towards the backyard where there is a privacy fence! Complaining about the outdoor camera, not being able to smoke and no privacy doesn’t not sound good for any hosts and it is a sign of trouble and liability. I do not recommend you to any hosts.

I have been living in Texas for almost 4 years now. I moved from the east coast and until recently worked at corporate America. I left that environment to be an entrepreneur and I currently am managing a startup. I am getting to know Austin better day by day (although out of town alot) and could give you recommendations in terms of the attractions and fun things to do inside and around Austin. Don't hesitate to ask me any questions you may have.

This is a perfect gate away in a safe and quiet neighborhood offering all you need to relax and enjoy your time in Austin. You are very close to major gorceries and outlet stores , shopping centers such as wholefoods, Costco, Target, Walmart, HEB, coffee shops, restaurants, TjMaxx, Nordstom, Macy's and many more. You have super easy access to major highways in Austin to get where you want to go fast and easy. You have from 12-15 minute drive to downtown Austin from my door and can get a ride share very easily in this neighborhood as well. There are also bus stops not far from my house just in case you like to use public transportation.

Backyard private pool, 2 chaise lounge chairs for sun tanning, pool towels, full kitchen with new appliances, coffee, beautiful dining area, 65" Samsung Smart TV and Bose sound system, free TV apps such as Netflix, Amazon, HBO Max (no login required), fast free internet, comfortable and stylish living room, high-end AC system with true HEPA air filter machines in the bedrooms for extra comfort. Dimmable living room northern European molecule light fixture to increase or decrease the light as you like, keypad at the front door, free parking on the driveway and anywhere on the street. Very walkable neighborhood for your morning walk, run, or bike ride with clear bike trails and many more benefits that come with this house and this neighborhood.
