Great Location with access to more things than you realize

We absolutely loved the location. It was perfect location in the building as it was on the same floor to the exit of the beach. The view is amazing! We didn’t realize we could go to the other side of Sandestin until the last day. The pool is heated at 85 degrees all year so it takes getting use to, however one member in our family did not like it. There were a couple of things that I think needs improvement such as the washer and dryer. What they hold clothes wise is tiny. For a family of 4 we had to wash 4-5 loads a day since we purposely didn’t bring lots of clothes since we could wash. Just something to know ahead of time for the future.

Great time!

We had a great time at Beachside 1. The condo was very comfortable and the location was perfect. We will definitely be staying there again.

Location, Location, Location

Couldn’t ask for more convenient access to the beach. Condo was clean upon arrival. Perfect size for our family for the week. Convenience to restaurants/shopping and other beaches is also a huge bonus. Sandestin Resort also does not disappoint.

Steps to the beach

Beautiful property. This 2nd floor unit (not 4th like in the description) has the easiest access to the beach I've ever had (although a ramp would be nice, there's only stairs to get down to the sand. Makes it tough to carry a beach cart). If the boardwalk didn't got so hot you wouldn't even need flip-flops. The condo is spacious and can sleep 4 comfortably (no ceiling fans). You can sleep more if you use the sofabed / air mattresses. Vacasa had it stocked well and we barely had to use our own paper products and kitchen supplies. The ice maker in the fridge was nice. Tiny, tiny washer / dryer. Great little "nook" by your front door to keep your beach supplies and prevent sand from entering the condo. You can't exactly see the beach from the balcony as the dunes are high and you are on the 2nd floor. However, the sand and water are second to none on the Gulf coast. Would definitely stay here again.

Also, I was locked out of the unit before the check out time. Luckily someone was still in the room to open the door🙄 mildew smelling sheets, not enough towels, remotes for TVs needed batteries, roaches….

Amazing location and wonderful amenities!

Location couldn’t be beat! It was so nice to be within walking distance (like less than 2 mins) to the beach. The pool was also close by too which was very convenient. This review is for condo Beachside One #4023 and they didn’t have a Keurig but a regular coffeemaker and there are no filters so make sure you bring some! Beach towels for the beach would be nice if provided since we flew in and had a hard time packing them but otherwise everything else was wonderful. Also no spices (not even salt or pepper) in the kitchen so just a heads up if planning to cook! Thank you for a wonderful stay we made the best memories!!!!

Nice condo

We enjoyed our month long stay in this condo. Beautiful view, nice furniture. Bathrooms not as updatedxas the rest of condo but are on. My only request would be for owners to add some lighting to living room, there was only 1 lamp, a vacuum cleaner( there is only a broom) and to add a can opener to kitchen that works. We would happily return. Very convenient to pool, beach and grills!

Excellent location

Excellent location, can’t beat it. Building majorly needs a ramp to the beach. Also bed in master room cannot be slept on. It is sagging to the floor. Needs to be replaced asap. Condo is clean but could use a paint job.

Spend a little more to get a better place

We loved the location and the pool was amazing. Amenities were very limited. Only four forks for eating, no free beach amenities, no beach towels. Drapes in Master Bdr were broken and had to be closed using clothes hangers. Patio furniture was dirty and seats sagged. Living room area rug has pet hair even though no pets allowed. I killed a huge cockroach in living area. Limited toiletries. No paper holder in guest bath. No seasonings for cooking. No games, or any beach toys for kids. Condo was a little run down. Could use a little paint and updating.

Amazing

We absolutely enjoyed the getaway. It was relaxing and it was amazing to wake to the waves. We loved being on the beach. Just a short walk to feel the sand. We didn’t know all that was included with the rental at first, but how nice that they offer transportation, chairs, and umbrella with your stay. The condo is nice and the room had what we needed.

Girls trip

Location was great and the view was awesome. I have a few suggestions. The bathrooms need towel bars. There was no place to hang towels or swimsuits. Also, needs door mat at sliding doors and a vacuum.

Clean

Perfect location. Easy beach access

The condo was exactly as described. It was located on the 2nd floor which makes the beach access quick and easy. Has everything you need with a beautiful view. This location is definitely worth the private beach and security personnel that does an amazing job keeping it that way (especially during the busy season). We will be back. Thanks again

It was a very nice resort. We just had some noisy air conditioner.

We did check in with them. I said we would be okay. But they sent a service man. It was a bearing that was out. We would recommend more information at the condo as to what you can do on site.

Kid friendly easy beach and pool access

Traveled with my husband, mom and 16 month old. Condo is located on second floor which is same floor access to beach and pool. Great views from the condo and quiet . The closet in master was perfect to fit in our pack and play for sleep training if traveling with a child. We were able to check in early without asking. Love the accessibility of the tram to go into Baytowne wharf and marina. We didn’t really leave resort, close to great restaurants, bars and water sports rentals. Plus Tram goes till 2pm on weekends too if out late. Kitchen has limited accessories but it was functional and able to cook meals for the 4 days we stayed. Would recommend bringing blanket for coziness. AC worked Great! We will definitely be back!

Clean + Beach Front

The home was clean and had everything we needed. Customer service was quick and responsive when we realized one of the cable boxes didn't have power cord. No prob, they brought one out immediately! Would definitely stay here again.

I love so many things about this place. It’s location, surrounding resort golf course along with all the amenities . A Beach front view with easy and quick access to and fro from Beach itself, beach chases and umbrella vendors accessible to resort guests.. maintenance availability for any issues, clean , stocked, beautiful condo. Very comfortable for entertaining..if needed. I would definitely come here again. Gated and I felt very secure at night. Thank you for a wonderful visit!
