Whispering Pines Lodge is the perfect all-season escape for families, couples, or friends looking to enjoy the beauty and adventure of Big Bear Lake! Conveniently located in the heart of Big Bear, our cozy single-story cabin sits on a flat, easily accessible lot and offers comfort, charm, and all the modern amenities you need for a relaxing getaway.

You'll be just a short walk to the Big Bear Lake Marina, where you can rent boats, kayaks, and paddleboards. Prefer shopping and dining? The Village—with its restaurants, boutiques, and coffee shops—is just a few minutes away. In the winter, you’re only a short drive from both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain ski resorts.

Inside, Whispering Pines Lodge is designed for comfort and connection. The cabin features central heating and air conditioning to keep you cozy in the winter and cool in the summer. The spacious living area includes a wood-burning fireplace, a Wii gaming console, and a wide selection of board games and puzzles—perfect for fun-filled nights in with family or friends.

The full kitchen is equipped with all the essentials to prepare meals, including cookware, dishes, a coffee maker, and more. Gather around the dining table to share meals, play games, or simply catch up after a day of outdoor fun.

Very nice Cabin. Host was most pleasant

The cabin was very nice and very clean. It was 5 minutes from the village. The furniture was very comfortable and decorations were very cute. Kitchen was very well stocked and the bathrooms included toiletries.

Great getaway

I have rated the property with 5 stars. The home was clean and kept up with many games and tv movie channels for the kids. I location was good and neighbors where nice during our afternoon walks. The owner was very responsive and would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay, the cabin has everything you could need, many board games, a Wii game, the kitchen equipped with everything, and everything was beautifully designed. We love the place, we definitely recommend it, you only need to bring your personal belongings and attitude to enjoy your stay

Wonderful stay

Went on a weekend trip with friends and the pictures don’t do this cabin justice. Such a cute place. Loved staying here. Would definitely book again.

Quiet and well equipped

We enjoyed our stay very much. Appreciated the fenced yard for both kids and our dog. A short walk to the lake, the sunset was beautiful. The kitchen had all the appliances and coffee makers we needed. Looking forward to returning in the summer.

-Glenn the property owner is second-to-none. Responsive, professional, and friendly. -I can't say enough nice things about the property; we've been visiting Big Bear last 30 years; this is the best place we've stayed at; cozy, convenient, and an abundance of amenities. -Glenn sets the standard high!

Great location, Clean and Comfortable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It was clean and comfortable and the host was readily available to assist with our needs! The location was convenient to the town, lake and trails. We would absolutely stay here again!

Overall a good stay

The cabin overall was pretty nice. The outdoor furniture in the front is not usable and actually destroyed, and the back patio furniture was pretty dirty and dusty, and the hammock was broken. The inside overall was good, I think the cabin needs a deep clean, there was dead flies and dust in the windows and a bit of an ant problem. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and accommodating. Overall I would recommend the cabin, but took a star off for the cleanliness

The owner of the cabin is one of the nicest people I have dealt with. He is a terrific communicator and extremely caring. I would love to have him as a neighbor. The manager, John, was also a fast responder and very nice. A wonderful experience.

Nice time…

Looking for a cool get away from Phoenix and this place fit the bill. Clean, quiet and had everything needed to feel at home. Big Bear had a quaint downtown and a lot of things to do. Recommend the Big Bear Queen for a nice boat tour with a history of the man made lake.

Great cabin!

Love, love, love this place. Quiet neighborhood, nicely decorated, well stocked kitchen and all the amenities you might think of. Owner was very responsive - although we had no problems. Would stay here again and again.

Amazing Property - Felt like home

I am going to make this short and sweet..... We absolutely loved the property. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, we had plenty of space to stretch out and relax. The awesome kitchen had everything we needed to cook some amazing meals and the living/dining area were perfect with the open concept layout. The outdoor space is nice too with a fenced in yard, grill, firepit and hammock for just relaxing. It really felt like being home. The area is nice too, although one neighbor had a dog that seemingly barked at everything. It's nice, quiet and not too far from the Village or other the main street that goes through Big Bear. We are 100% looking to book this place again if we go back to Big Bear. Also, the WIFI worked great!!
