Clean and well-appointed cabin that maximizes use of the space. Quiet location near lots of hiking. Great sitting area on front porch. Backyard could use a little refresh, but overall nice stay and good value.

Amazing place

Just as described and pictured! Great place, close to the village and alpine slides. We will come back for sure!

Nice quiet cabin to relax in with everything you need.

Liked the neighborhood and the house is roomy for the price. Got good parking in the driveway and close to town.

It's a great cabin and the management was responsive when needed. I rented the place for 5 nights while my daughters were attending a youth camp nearby so that I could help out as a volunteer at the camp while they were there. Cool and wonderful Big Bear Area, a comfortable home. I definitely recommend this as a place to consider.

Big Bear Family Getaway

Home was super clean and comfortable. Loved the location which was in the woods yet close to the village and other fun. The only negative which is why I didn’t give 5 stars was the hot water was very inconsistent.

The perfect cabin get away

This cabin exceeded our expectations by being very clean and having everything we needed. The beds were comfy, the decor was beautiful and the cabin had plenty of privacy. It totally felt like home. Communication with the owners was easy, as was the process for checking in and out. Would totally recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Great Cabin

We had a weekend getaway with our teenage daughter and her friends. The cabin was very comfortable and spacious. The cabin is modern with it bath and kitchen up to date. It was hot during the day so the AC was nice to have. The location is convenient to marinas and a quick drive to the village. The loft was perfect for the teenagers to hang out. We enjoyed the hot tub among the pines. A great place to stay while in Big Bear.

The outdoor grill couldn't get hot enough. With the lid closed and several burners on, the temperature was only 300 degrees. Perhaps the propane tank was low.

Unfortunately, this property left a lot to be desired. My first issue was when the host reached out for payment, and I noticed an additional 70 pet fee. In the listing it outlines a required deposit if bringing pets and specifically says there's no hidden fees, but then suddenly there's a fee added in addition to the deposit. If there's a fee required it should be outlined in the listing upfront. When i reached out to the host about it they did remove the fee when I asked to cancel the reservation over it.I will say that the check in proceess day of was excellent. I texted asking for early check in, and the host got right back to me saying the house was available then. They also provided a few hours late check out free of charge which I appreciated. When we arrived, the house itself had not been cleaned well. The floors were gritty and had definitely not been mopped. Within minutes of walking barefoot in the house the bottoms of our feet were visibly dirty. Also, there is no dishwasher and the host expects all dishes to be washed, dried, and put away upon checkout. This just felt like a lot when a cleaning fee is being paid.During the last night of our stay the AC suddenly stopped working making for an uncomfortably warm night. Also there was a leak from under the kitchen sink. The hot tub was enjoyable, and i appreciated that it was on and ready for use on arrival. The backyard was unkempt with tall weeds everywhere, so it's not very enjoyable to be outside.

Great property but no A/C

The cabin was modern and clean with a good kitchen, utensils and ceiling fans. Quiet street but close to the highway. Great beds. Good clothes washer. The only recommendation I have is that the property owner clarify that the cabin DOES NOT have air conditioning as was advertised. Most people who go to Big Bear in the summer expect some heat. Our family was looking forward to coming home to a cabin with A/C and it wasn't there. In the summer, cooking in the cabin heats the house up so minimize cooking after 10:00 am.

Could have been better

The location was great. The decor was great. The kitchen has just about everything you need. The windows, window panes, blinds were very dirty as was the back porch, which was too dirty to bbq. One of the bathrooms smells of mold as did some of the pillows in the upstairs bedroom. I had to reset the wifi no less than 4 times. I think the modem gets too hot. Once I opened the cabinet it was in it did a little better. A board fell off of a wall from a room conversion which let spiders come into the house. I did have maintenance come out and fix that. Maintenance was responsive. I think with some attention to details, this would be a perfect get away, but in the present condition it was a disappointment to spend so much money.

Our stay at the cabin was great! It was clean, well equipped, and the location can't be beat! Nice quiet neighborhood but still close to the lake and amenities. We look forward to a repeat visit!

Knights Cabin in the Pines was in the perfect location for me and my pups, and was a nice place to stay. Plenty of hiking trails nearby that you could access by walking. The yard was a bonus for my dogs and the hot tub was nice after long hikes. The cabin was clean and comfortable, with enough kitchen utensils to make a nice meal. Having a tv in each room was a bonus, and it was fairly easy to access and login to apps. The internet was fast and worked almost completely perfect for teleworking (had bad connection on one day that I had to use personal hotspot). Overall, the cabin was clean and cozy, yard was perfect for two large dogs, and the hot tub with digital controls was just what we needed for a relaxing time in Big Bear Lake.
