What a wonderful place! The location is amazing. Steps to the beach and a private pool, no loud neighbors and plenty of beach service chairs for rent which makes everything so much easier! Walking distance to Seaside and plenty of the comforts of home. The house has a second story, but the upstairs was locked off. Plenty of room for our two families to spread out. 4 adults and 3 kiddos.

Beach view was very nice. Accommodations were dated for the price. No beach towels or laundry soap and not enough toilet paper, trash bags, and plastic bags.

We had a wonderful time on 30A! This location was perfect for us; close to restaurants, shops, and activities. 5 minute bike ride to Seaside or 15 minute walk. The house was clean and spacious, and the boys loved the pool. It was a bonus! The house was right on the beach, which was really nice! Check in and out was super easy, and the communication was great! We had a great time and would definitely rent this property again! :-)

Familiar Home

We or other family members have stayed in this property many times over the years and have seen it develop from a simple un-airconditioned beach house from the late 1960's to the enlarged and attractive remodeled version it is today. Over the years the many improvements have made our family stays more relaxing and enjoyable and this year was no different. We have already rented it for our family vacation again next year.

A family stay at Family Ties

Overall, my family was very pleased with home. Great location and very clean and modernized. One issue we had was there were 8 of us but only room for 7 to sit on couch, love seat and chair. Not a big deal but noticeable. Pool and bikes were in great shape and enjoyed. Couple all this with good communications with rental company and I can assure you we will be back.

Best Week EVER!!

We gifted the week long trip to our two children and their families for Christmas (2023). Everyone said it was the best week and best vacation their had ever had. The location was SPOT ON and we all enjoyed a relaxing week together as a family. LOVED the bikes and riding down to Seaside. We have not ridden bikes in years but had a blast. We are considering renting the same house for another trip next year, since we like give "memories" instead of gifts for Christmas and birthdays.

Summer Vacay

Family ties was a great location for our family, the view is very pretty. The pictures are a little deceiving as you do not get access to whole home but it was a great time. The living room doesn't have enough sitting for 10 people it sits 7 comfortably. The pots and pans could use an upgraded from overuse. Home could use a good scrub. Property managers were great and responsive when we had an A/C issue. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Family Ties Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented Family Ties many times over the last 10 years and have always enjoyed our stay. This year was somewhat different for the following reasons:1. The linens on the beds are cheaply done. The sheets are scratchy and there is the comforter was way too thin.2. The refrigerator does not get cold enough to keep food from spoiling.3. HVAC does not cool the master bedroom. It has cooled that room in previous stays.4. The fan in the master bedroom is broken and doesn't work correctly.
