This home (new in June 2022) is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. Living room includes 43" Roku TV, and a comfortable couch. There is also a loveseat and two chairs. Dining room has wood table with six chairs, one seat at the island, and we have a small table with two seats in front of the window overlooking the water. Kitchen is nice with a two bowl sink in the island, two door refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Kitchen comes fully stocked with pots ,pans, dishes, outdoor cooking utensils, and much more! Washer and dryer available in the utility room of the house. The Master bedroom has 43" Amazon Fire TV, undersea wall mural, king bed, closet and private bathroom. Second bedroom has a queen bed, Manatee wall mural, 32" Roku TV, and closet . The third bedroom has two bunk beds, a 27" Roku TV, and a closet. You can enjoy your time lounging on the dock, under the gazebo with screening, or on the front porch facing the water! Enjoy cooking out every night on the gas grill or dining out at local restaurants- Please note that there may or may not be gas for the grill. If there is no gas, you can switch out the tank locally. We have a tandem kayak (2 person), three adult kayaks, a child's kayak, and a three person canoe!
The Manatee Hideaway II's canal has access to the main Weeki Wachee River and Gulf access. The Weeki Wachee State Park is only minutes away!! They have the famous live mermaid show, boat rides on the Weeki Wachee, and Water slides! FUN FOR ALL!! FREE WIFI! Please contact us for further information. Check in at 4 PM, Check Out at 10 AM. Please note that we only rent monthly from Jan-March, but not during our peak season. We prefer to rent weekly during the summer when the kids are out of school. Please send us an inquiry for your summer dates before sending a reservation request if you are looking to rent less than a week from June-Aug 1st. Thanks.

I will start with the positives. We saw manatees and were able to kayak a bunch. The property itself is very run down which we could have looked past for the price, you get what you pay for, I totally understand that.

Great Stay!!!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this B&B. The place was very clean and it was just like the pictures show. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re doable. One of the rooms has two bunkbeds so four beds. It’s cozy.Great communication with the owners. If there are any issues, they respond right away and take care of it as promptly as they can. We had an issue with one of the plugs in the small kayak, Aaron ordered a plug on Amazon and we had it two days later. The issue didn’t hinder or stay one bit.It is right on the water and we saw plenty of manatees. There was a pod hanging out and there were two little babies, that made our stay even more amazing! You can kayak/canoe or paddle-board ( I brought my own paddle-board, but there are kayaks and a canoe at the place) on the river right from the backyard. You can also swim if you like!Weeki Wachee Springs is like a five minute drive. I definitely recommend staying here, it’s definitely worth your while. If you love being outdoors in nature you will really enjoy yourself. I think you would really enjoy it no matter what!!!We plan on coming back again!

Gray economical place for a larger group

We enjoyed our stay at this home. There were none of us so even at capacity we were able to have the space that we needed. We enjoyed the kayaks that were part of the amenities as well as the grill. It’s very convenient to the river and the gulf. We met and spoke to the owners because we arrived a little bit early and they were very friendly and kind.

We stayed on the water as much as possible my kids had an awesome time. My wife and I love this area and try to stay 1 or 2 times a year. I will be looking at there other property next time because I have a dog that would love to come as well

Fantastic Family Vaca at Weeki Wachee

The home is spacious and clean, the rental came with a good number of kayaks/canoe. The dock was nice. My son loves to fish and spent so much time fishing off the dock. We love Weeki Wachee and had a fun stay.

Sweet vibes

4th time renting on the river, but first time here. Would definitely book again. Easy communication when needed, clean, plenty to do. So much funn, and activities for the 5 adults who flew down

Perfect Place For A Family Vacation

We had a fantastic stay at the Manatee Hideaway! The waterfront location was ideal—mornings on the dock with coffee while our daughter fished were a highlight. The house was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed, including fast Wi-Fi, which was a must for our college kids to stay on top of their assignments. It’s also in a great spot—just a 3-minute drive to Weeki Wachee Springs and about 30 minutes from Crystal River. Very reasonably priced and perfect for our family of five. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it! Would you like a shorter version too?

Another Great Stay at Manatee Hideaway II

This was my 2nd annual April visit to Manatee Hideaway II. This visit I brought my best friend & we greatly enjoyed our visit. The property was clean, comfortable, had everything we could have possibly needed & was the perfect location as every day we sat on the dock enjoying our breakfast & spent the days paddling on the river watching manatees.

Christmas Vacation

We had a great time and the hosts were amazing to work with. The river didn't disappoint and we were able to view manatee. The house was equipped with all the kitchen needs as we cooked dinners there most nights. Highly recommend for a great reset vacation.

Weeki dream

We really enjoyed our stay! The home had absolutely everything we needed and Aaron was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. There were more than enough towels, household items, cookware, etc. the property was on a canal with just a quick 10 min paddle to the Weeki Wachee river. We loved the bunk bed room for the kids, and the adult bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Thanks again!

Perfect weekend away

The house and location were perfect for our small getaway with friends to enjoy the springs. The amount of kayaks they had available was perfect! The only issues we came across was part of the couch wasn’t in the best shape, falling apart and the washing machine was SUPER loud. Everything else was fine and we were able to have a nice weekend away with friends.

Beautiful and fun and family oriented

Very happy with our visit to Manatee hideaway. It was nice to have kayaks and a canoe available for use. It was also a great location. And the property has toys for the kids. The down side was the air fryer and coffee maker were filthy! We were unable to use them. No one cleaned the air fryer after the last use and the nasty grime on it was too much to clean. The coffee maker had what looked like sand in the water reservoir, so we passed. The size was good for the 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 younger children. They also have a couple ducks on property which was fun. I would totally rent again, just will be better prepared for cooking.

Weeki Wachee River home

My family and I had an excellent stay. The home is awesome and the location is perfect. Very close to nature and a short drive to the grocery store , pharmacy and shopping. Easy access to the river and beach. A nice surprise was the quietness of the neighborhood after dark. We had to speak with the owner a couple times and the communication is excellent. No problems just questions.

Little piece of paradise

We really enjoyed our stay! Home was very clean, cute and inviting. The beds were very comfy and there was pretty much everything you could need. Canal isn't as clear as the river but it also isn't as busy! We had ducks in the yard and manatee visited daily! The hosts are amazing and very quick to reply. I highly recommend this little piece of paradise! ❤🙏

Great vacation spot

This is our 2nd year staying at the Manatee hideaway 2. We absolutely love it and will be back. Beautiful property, we seen so many manatees in the canal. It was such a wonderful time kayaking, grilling and very peaceful area. Look forward to our next stay.

My family gathered for my grandson's high school graduation. Eveything was great we had a great tine kayaking. The host was very friendly and helpful. It is a great place for family fun.

Wonderful family get away!

We had so many fun adventures with the multiple kayaks and a canoe that were included with this rental. We had manatees feeding right at our dock The home was clean, and the owner answered our call right away when we had a question. Everything about our stay was fabulous! We’ve had a memory foam mattress for a very long time so I was shocked that they still used the old spring kind in this rental. The pillows were a bit thin too. My husband slept like a baby, so I might just be a bit spoiled with comfort. Don’t let the comfort of the beds stop you from booking this great place. I still loved our trip and will absolutely book with them again I’ll just bring my own pillow next time ☺️

Awesome Vacation Spot

The Manatee Hideaway 2 is a quiet retreat. The proximity to the river is amazing. Being able to drop our kayaks and paddle board in right in front of the property is amazing. There were more than enough towels and linens. It’s getting hot in Florida and the a/c was much appreciated. There’s more than enough room for four people. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Winter Getaway

The property was great, the location was close to good restaurants, attractions and the beach. The kayaks were fun. We were there for 3 months and enjoyed it very much.
