What made the property great were the owners. They were very responsive to any requests needs etc..

Wave House was a great location for our family and friends to enjoy a September getaway to the OBX! We especially enjoyed that each bedroom had an ensuite bathroom and adults had their own space. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-appointed and the coffee bar was well-stocked and much enjoyed. Our host, Brian, was very responsive to our requests and was great to work with us when a nor'easter moved through and the roads on and off the island were closed for several days. He turned what could have been a stressful event into an adventure leaving a special memory. From a safety standpoint, the dunes in front of the house held the waves exceptionally well, and we felt totally safe as we watched the houses close to us get significant water damage. I would definitely love to return to this house for future vacations.

Had an incredible stay at this gorgeous waterfront home. Beach was unparalleled. House had everything we needed and when we needed something the host was extremely responsive and helpful. Elevator made things super easy for my wheel chair bound mother to enjoy her stay at the beach which we really appreciated. Fire department even provided a beach wheel chair. Had a really great week. Highly recommend!

On the OCEAN, need I say more! Home is as described….would be outstanding for visiting family or families! My wife and I loved this short peaceful trip to Rodanthe! Owner Brian was on point with his communication. If you are planning to be one with the majestic aura of the beach and ocean, then this home will help with lasting memories…..Much to appreciate Bożenka and Ramon

Relaxing Paradise

Incredible views and great location close to pier. Family enjoyed the beach, pool, and hot tub. The amenities were top notch and the coffee bar was heaven.

Perfect family vacation

We had an exceptional stay. The house was perfect for our family, especially with the elevator. The view and the beach access were great. It was the cleanest house we've ever rented. We loved everything about the experience!

Right on the beach!

Very convenient for families to visit the beach & walk back to the house throughout the day. Loved the sound of the ocean at night!

April Vacation

The house was exactly as described and depicted, the owner was extremely attentive to our needs and welcomed feedback about the property and our stay. We had a great time and will be back again at some point to enjoy the house and the views!

Great place right on the beach

Our family had a wonderful time! The place was clean and well-stocked. We loved the coffee set-up, the pool table, the hot tub. Host was responsive with any questions. Even though it was a bit chilly while we were there, the beautiful views meant we could enjoy our stay even while just hanging out inside.

Beautiful home right on the beach & close to pier. The view was AMAZING! Fully stocked kitchen with an additional refrigerator on the ground floor for back up supplies. Floor plan was ideal for large group lounging on the top floor, yet bedroom suites, game room & hot tub allowed for smaller group connection. Perfect escape for our 20 something children, parents, and siblings. First time celebrating Christmas at the beach. We highly recommend booking yours! Would love to return each season.

Gorgeous house right on the beach

We stayed here with family members aged 11-80 and found this house to be wonderful. It’s just as advertised - a perfect location, right on the beach. It has everything you could need on vacation. The house is in beautiful condition and owners are very responsive. You won’t regret staying at this house.

AMAZING house, location and host

We have been visiting the Outer Banks since the late 80s and this is the best house, location and host we have encountered. The house was spotless and is perfectly appointed and has everything you can even think of to need. The location is perfect, you can almost throw a beer off the deck to your family on the beach. Brian and his team were incredibly helpful and responsive on any little question we had. Overall it was a fabulous week!!

The location of this house was fantastic. The extras that the host provided was also excellent, the size of the rooms was really great for our family of 11, eight adults and three children. Also the convenience of having two washer and dryers in the location right by the door was really great for throwing wet towels and getting them dry instead of having to drag them through the house. The elevator was appreciated for all the groceries to feed 11 people and the decks provided fantastic views to watch the sunrises and sunsets was beyond belief. Also the owner, Brian was fantastic to work with it. If there was a problem he was on it.Now for did not so great things truly because everything else was so great. I hate to mention this and I do not feel this is on the owner. If you have toddlers bring a baby gate or rent one there. There was a lot of sand in the pool and I think that is more because the location there was nothing to barrier the dunes from the pool, so a lot of sand drifted into the pool. Also, I felt like this house could use a really good cleaning. There were a lot of areas that were overlooked when you have a little kids you tend to look under beds and sofas looking for things that they threw there, and this is where that dust and the dirt are. I feel like the house cleaners could do a much better job also, one of the washers has a lot of mold in it also in the kitchen, there is some ant activity looking past these small issues it was absolutely worth it.

The perfect stay

You could not ask for a better place. They have everything you need for an amazing beach vacation. Everything was very clean and organized. They have nice and new appliances. We will absolutely be back. The elevator definitely came in handy too. Thank you!!

Ultimate OBX House

This house is amazing and has everything one would need. 2 Families, 8 people total had more than enough room for everyone. Rodanthe is away from the crowds and the beach (at your doorstep) is the opposite of crowded. Great Beach Vacation!!!

Family fun

The property is beautiful and fully equipped to make your stay there one to remember. We had a great time with kids and grandkids. The elevator was great to move things and especially our special needs granddaughter. We loved it.

Beach view from top floor was great. Ac was plenty cold. Parking was hazardous not enough room to maneuver the vehicles. Elevator was a great asset since some of us were elderly and a lot of help getting luggage and groceries to the kitchen and back down when we were leaving. Having the personal items provided was great. Our stay was great and we would recommend the Wave House highly

Phenomenal oceanfront paradise

This oceanfront home was amazing and came with all conveniences and necessities. All descriptions and photos fully accurate. The owners were the most responsive and helpful out of all the years we’ve been renting! Check in and check out was seamless. The elevator going to each level was a big bonus. I would highly recommend this beautiful home. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent beach house

This is the perfect beach house. Every bedroom has a bathroom. There is an elevator which was perfect for aging parents and also just to carry luggage and groceries up and down. We enjoyed the game room, the bicycles, the beach chairs and the beach access, just to name a few. Also, the proximity to the pier is ideal when you have a group of fisherman. Highly recommended this vacation home!
