Casa Azul-2BDR with Private Pool and Beautiful Porch

This lovely two-bedroom private villa with private pool is located behind Palm Beach and is just minutes away by car from the white sandy beaches, hotels, restaurants, and nightlife. Casa Azul offers full privacy and with its beautiful tropical landscaped garden you can enjoy the Caribbean at its best. To enjoy all these beach trips, the property provides beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler. We do not provide umbrellas.

The layout of the villa is designed in a way that you both can enjoy the sun and shade. On all sides of the property, you find seating areas in different settings. In the morning enjoy a cup of tea on the porch or between tropical plants and in the afternoon a refreshing cocktail on the lounge chairs next to the pool. At night the back patio is excellent for grilling fresh fish and steaks on the gas grill.

The Caribbean setting continues inside the house with colorful décor. The house has two bedrooms, both with king-size beds and one bathroom, a spacious living room, and a kitchen with a large dining table. Start dreaming about paradise and book this lovely villa today.

Utilities: The total rate includes a 15% tax/service charge, final cleaning, bookings fee, an allowance for water and electricity in the amount of US$ 15, - per night, and Wireless Internet.

Please be advised that Parties, social events, and gatherings are not allowed at our vacation homes.

We have exterior cameras that may be used for security.

Great stay. Comfy home. Lots to do. Hosts were very helpful and respond right away. Need a car to stay here. Beautiful house.

Made the best of it

Place was OK. Pool was not cleaned and had to call to get it cleaned. Was told it was cleaned twice weekly. Rarely used pool, not enticing. Interior was marginally cleaned - mop pail with mop left in kitchen. Basically, outside was dusty and dirty. we sat on chairs by pool, but didn't want to sit on porch etc. Outside needs landscaping/cleaning. Not great area, random cars parked out front, dog poop everywhere out front of gate (??) Enjoyed ourselves but didn't spend much time at house. Not our first VRBO rental either, we are not ones to complain!

As good as it gets

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Casa Azul. When we travel for relaxation, we like to read, write and paint as well as explore, so we made ourselves at home and Casa Azul was ideal for this. The garden is quite wonderful with its many shady places to work with tables and chairs. To be able to work awhile, interspersed with dips in the very clean, delightful pool is perfect. As gardeners ourselves we appreciated the many varieties of palms, around seventeen of them, all different heights, and the mature flowering shrubs and cycads. (Word to the wise: don't put your chair directly beneath the coconuts because a few drop). Lots of shade from the intense sun. In the mid afternoon we'd head out to the fabled beaches (ten to fifteen minute drive, easy parking) to swim and have dinner watching the sunset with our toes in the soft white sand. Our favorite beach was Druif, popular with locals but uncrowded, and we also had dinner twice at the local restaurant/pub 080, two blocks from the house, that has a menu in Dutch/English and some excellent slow cooked meals. The house itself is clean, well organized and eclectically charming. Good beds, well equipped kitchen. It is in the Alto Vista neighborhood and cars are driving by, but the garden walls and gate are high and the plant cover abundant. Communication with the owner and managing group was friendly, helpful, and prompt. They arranged our car rental (car waiting at the house) and transportation to and from the airport.

Everything we could want

This property is exactly what my husband and I would want for ourselves when we move to the island. It was the perfect space in the perfect location. Close to great beaches, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife! Renting a car allowed us to do so much during our stay. We definitely want to stay here again!

Property was perfect for my sister and I. Close to anything you want to do. Pool was a welcomed place to relax after a day of sun and sea!

Little Oasis in Local Neighborhood

The house is well stocked with spices and all the things you need to make meals except for cooking oil. All the common kitchen appliances and a fridge that includes ice maker. We didn't use the bbq so can't review that. The property is beautifully kept inside and out, multiple seating areas on the outside for meals outdoors. The neighborhood is fairly quiet though the surrounding neighbors have a couple dogs that you may hear bark here and there but it's by no means annoying or disruptive. Close enough drive (~8min) to the hotel high rise area with nightlife but far enough away to not see any tourists. Cafe 080 at the corner is full of locals and very lively in the evenings especially around Thursday-Saturday night. The pool is bit smaller than it looks in the photos but still incredibly enjoyable. Rosie, the property manager, was very responsive with all our questions and comments. Overall we had a lovely and very enjoyable time.

Casa azul

Very safe area, quiet, lots of privacy. Bathroom needs some attention, they delivered new floor to be installed. Very clean. Small but very cozy. Back yard great! Private pool was wonderful. Well maintained.

Simply Amazing!

Every part of our vacation was amazing. Rosie and Alex were SO responsive, oftentimes responding within minutes to my questions (and I had a lot of questions lol). The photos do not do justice for how beautiful this property is. We spent SO much time outside, whether it was on the hammock or the porch or the lounge chairs. There was always an outdoor shady spot even when the sun was highest in the sky. It was the perfect house for our babymoon. Several beaches and restaurants were less than 10 minutes away, and the furthest one we went to was 22 minutes away. The bed was spacious and comfortable, the pillows were awesome, and the house had everything we needed. Aruba is so easy to drive, and I'm really happy we stayed in this neighborhood instead of the busy resort area. Can't recommend this property or Rosie/Alex with Rentals in Aruba enough!!!!
