Designed by renowned interior designer Barclay Butera, Villa Butera blends timeless Spanish-inspired architecture with fresh, sophisticated interiors and playful details. French doors and thoughtfully designed living spaces create an easy connection between the home and its lush outdoor surroundings.

The heart of the property is the spectacular outdoor oasis. Spend the day beside the lagoon-style pool and spa, relax beneath the mountain views, gather around the waterfall, or enjoy cocktails and conversation around the fire pit as the desert sky comes alive.

For effortless outdoor entertaining, the villa offers an outdoor kitchen, grill, bar seating, and elegant dining and lounging areas. Multiple furnished patios create private places to relax throughout the day.

THE HOME

Villa Butera offers four beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. Three bedrooms feature king beds and the fourth offers a queen bed. Several suites open directly to private furnished patios, giving guests both shared spaces for gathering and private spaces for quiet relaxation.

The spacious interior includes a formal living room, dining room, breakfast area, family room, and a chef’s kitchen with high-end appliances—providing plenty of room to cook, dine, relax, and entertain.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay over Labor Day weekend! The home was beautiful, comfortable, and exceptionally well appointed. The furnishings and interior were truly first class, while still feeling warm and inviting.There were so many great spaces throughout the property for relaxing and entertaining, which made it a perfect place to hang out. Everything was thoughtfully designed and made for a very enjoyable stay.The host was also fantastic — accommodating, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. David met us upon our arrival and made us feel welcome and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Palm Springs. Highly recommended!

David met us when we arrived to show us this beautiful home. He made us feel very welcome. The home had everything we needed for our wonderful 10 day stay. Comfortable beds and bedding. First class comfort. Home was well stocked with everything. This is at the top of the list for places we have stayed before. We loved all the different patio’s and the pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing after a days shopping and sightseeing. The interior of the home was as breathtaking as a magazine but also very comfortable! Loved our time here!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our month-long stay at Villa Butera! In my opinion, the best part of the home is the layout with public spaces allowing for entertaining and private spaces with each bedroom having an en-suite bath and personal patio. Each of our guests commented on how perfect this was! David, the property manager, was a delight - he provided us with exceptional service; great communication; and accommodated our every need. We spent many days outside by/in the pool and hot tub! We savored many dinners outside on the back patio. Ideal location for quick walks to downtown for shopping and dining and for picking up/dropping off at the airport. We love Palm Springs and Villa Butera is right up there!

Excellent says it all.... Absolutely stunning home and the furnishing are gorgeous... swimming pool is better than the pool at The Playboy Mansion .....the only thing better is the great property manager and fantastic owner....

First Class Accommodation

This is a fantastic property. It is located in a great neighborhood. But once you are here, it is hard to leave. The place to is a decorators dream come true. The pool and hot tub are excellent. Beds and bathrooms are very comfortable and spacious. Expensive, but worth it in my opinion.

Amazing property. The manager completely decorated for my husbands 50th birthday. Had some issues with the pool/hot tub. It don’t appear to be filtered. Water was stagnant and the hot tub was not turning on or getting warm. Was able to contact manager of the property. Pool service was done 2 days into our stay. After that, we were able to enjoy the pool/hot tub once it was serviced.

Wow!

Barclay's place was AMAZING. Superb attention to detail, comfy furniture, super comfy beds, fabulous linens, pillows, and towels. Well-stocked kitchen, with plenty of dishes, wine glasses (thank you), and high quality pots and pans, serving dishes, knives, etc. Property was pristine and gorgeous. Pool and hot tub also clean and great temp. David and Barclay were super attentive! Oh and great location too. Everyone in our family loved the place and everything about it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A terrific property

We had a great stay. There was a minor hiccup at the beginning that the responsive property manager, David, handled adroitly. This is a rare instance where the photos (which are great by themselves) don't fully capture how comfortable and gracious the house is. I like to read, and there were 5 or 6 places where I could settle in and read comfortably and with more than adequate lighting. And the outdoor pool area is just wonderful. We hope to return.

The house was beautiful, the pool and hot tub were perfect. The kitchen surfaces were difficult to work on and the coffee maker was insufficient for the group of 7 of us. The bathroom faucets were worn out needed an upgrade. The bathroom shower heads need updated and drawers had mildew orders.Our biggest problem was the bedroom with the bunks, they were uncomfortable, the door to the patio had noSmaller towels would nice in the bathrooms knob so you couldn’t use it, there was a claustrophobic vibe, the the lighting was insufficient.! No one slept in there! The pods used for laundry make the linens smell like cheap perfume and the sheets could be nicerThe home could use a good house cleaning not just a maids work, windows, mirrors, oiled wood surfaces are all in need of attention It’s was a fantastic vacation and we would love to return

Amazing Dessert Oasis

Spent Christmas poolside at this Oasis. Family joined us for a few nights, and everyone had their own ensuites which are spread out perfect for extended family. The house had a fabulous layout and comfortable bedding. Loved the fireplaces and designer furnishings. The property manager was super friendly and accommodating and even offered to buy us a Christmas tree. The kitchen had high end appliances, but I struggled with the basic inventory of tools and serving dishes. (I had to go out a buy several things on Christmas Eve). This property has impeccable views and manicured landscape, the side yard was filled with mature citrus trees with succulent oranges and lemons. Overall, this is an amazing one-of-a-kind property, and we can't to go back.

My family and I had an excellent stay at this home. It was beautifully decorated. The pool was very nice and it was quiet at night. My wife and I brought our 10-year-old boys, mother and grandmother and it was well accommodating to all of us. The host communication was also excellent. Beautiful house would recommend.
