Winter Stays Available! 3 Night Stays and Flex Stays Welcome!

This newly furnished townhouse located directly across from the beach in Kitty Hawk makes a great stay for small families and couples. Newly furnished with two king beds, a Keurig, and much more! The garage is able to fit two vehicles and offers an outside shower for quick rinsing off when you get back from a day at the beach. An additional parking spot can be found in front of the townhouse. The first floor is situated with two king bedrooms, each with a private bath. The Southern master bedroom offers a spacious covered deck with ocean views and the private bath has an updated vanity and gorgeous, tiled shower. The top floor features a newly furnished living room with vaulted ceilings and natural light, a dining area, as well as a kitchen with granite countertops, stainless kitchen appliances, and two pantries. A half bath is also located on the top floor. The walk to the beach takes less than 3 minutes with two dedicated accesses for Sea Dunes guests! Don’t worry about packing beach chairs or a cooler as they are waiting for you at Escape OBX!

The SeaDunes Townhomes are an amazing location within walking distance to several of the Outer Banks' top restaurants; Black Pelican, Hurricane Mo’s, Two Roads Tavern, Stackem’ High Pancakes, I Got Your Crabs, and Barefoot Bernies. The indoor clubhouse features a racquetball court, workout equipment, air hockey, arcade games, pool table, ping pong, and restrooms with showers, while outside you will find a community pool, hot tub, and tennis courts. The clubhouse with rec room and the pool is open from late May to early October, while the gym, tennis, and racquetball courts are open year-round.

Never again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Central air stopped working. The realtor I had to deal with was argumentative and rude. We were sent 2 window units for the upstairs which eventually cooled the upstairs. The bedrooms were downstairs. Only sent 1 window unit and a box fan for the other room due to no windows. We were told we were getting a portable unit for the other room but sent a box fan. That room was uncomfortable to sleep in all 3 nights of our stay. When I asked for compensation due to this I was offered $100 which I basically laughed at. The rude realtor (Heather) then says we don’t do refunds but the max would be $200. We feel $500 would have been feasible but she claimed our issues were fixed within 12 hours. No, the issue was never fixed. Our dogs which we paid a heafty fee to stay as well panted the whole time we were there. Had to deal with the central air guy in and out of the house which he done said the unit needed replaced. There was definitely no privacy at this house. Noon the day before we leave the cleaning people drop off 2 bags at our door. I ask what this is for and they say the next tenant coming. We check out at 10 the next day. The cleaning people shouldn’t even have been at our house yet! Needless to say this vacation was ruined. Never again we will use this company that the realtor claims is rated #1 on the east coast. We coulda done without her attitude.

Wonderful getaway for the whole family

My family and I loved our time at this property. From the views, proximity to the beach (1 min walk), to what was offered we were very impressed. We brought our own, but there were beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys available. Full kitchen with pots/pans & utensils, keurig for coffee. Outdoor pool and clubhouse on property as well. 2 highly recommended seafood restaurants within walking distance. Close to 3 different supermarkets. Plenty of places to go shopping.Property managers were easy to get ahold of and answered quickly. We had a small maintenance issue, and they had someone out to fix it within a couple of days. Some things to keep in mind for someone interested in booking (none of these bothered us at all but it may for some): Stairs: this property does have 2 flights of stairs. We got extra steps and gained some leg muscles going up and down them throughout our stay.Beach access: although able to get to the beach quickly, there is a road to cross to get to the entrance. That road had more traffic than we anticipated. There was a crosswalk, and most vehicles would stop and allow you to cross no problems. This is also a public beach-no private beach access-not overly crowded. The waves were higher than we anticipated.Beds: mattress were a combo of firm to soft (I like a very soft mattress (we’re talking memory foam topper w/pillow top topper on top kinda soft) but still slept ok).Bathroom: one bathroom is on the small side but the other one is bigger.

The perfect place for a vaca with a small group!

This trip was for my friend for graduating college so we wanted something small for 4 girls and convenient and close to everything. PLUS the beach access was right across the street so we were having to haul our chairs and bags too far. The condo itself is the perfect size and it was very clean. We loved that there was a garage for parking and a balcony to see the ocean. 10/10 will definitely stay here again.

Great location, Nice unit

We loved the space. The stairs are a lot if you have any physical issues. We managed even though I need new knees. Besides that, it was an awesome stay. We had issues with the management company. I had to call to get the starter items promised. Luckily, we brought supplies with us, so we were not without TP and basic stuff that we were supposed to get when we arrived. I was handed and garbage bag of stuff the morning after we arrived. The unit provides very little in the way of supplies. I thought $150 was a lot to get linens, towels, etc. Maybe I am out of touch with what is being charged now. But seems like a lot to me. The next issue was we heard someone trying to come in, typing a code into the electronic lock. Turns out one of the staff gave the pest company the code, not even bothering to check if someone was staying there. I don't know what is going on with the management company, but they need to have some better practices. The beds are comfortable with lots of pillows around. Helps with our old backs. The view from the upper deck is amazing. It was stormy most of the time we were there, but the deck made it worthwhile any way. An awesome place to stay.

The couch should have been near the stair rail for optimal seating. I also didn’t like that you immediately had to climb stairs upon entering the unit. Garage w/shower was great. We had a nice time.

Never Disappoints

The property was clean and beautifully decorated. It was walking distance to the beach and several very good restaurants. We will definitely book again for next year. This was our 4th year staying at a condo on this property.
