We were pleased overall with the beach house. The mattress on the bed in the main downstairs bedroom needs replacing. There were ants in both of the downstairs bathrooms. Other than these issues, the property served our needs well, and we enjoyed our stay.

The mattress in the queen bedroom was replaced less thant 6 months ago. Mattresses are a personal thing - some people like firm while others need plush. We try to find that middle ground with innerspring mattress and a plush top. We do try to please everyone and we try to keep everything new and upgraded. This house went through an upgrade less than 2 months ago so we hope our future guests will enjoy it!

The house is in walking distance to the beach. The kitchen was stocked with spices and coffee which is a nice touch. Beautiful home.

Family reunion

We totally enjoyed our stay. There were a lot of little details that were above and beyond our expectations from a special gift basket for the dogs to a fully stocked kitchen including tea and coffee.

Perfect Beach House

Home is well appointed, clean and stocked with essentials. We enjoyed our short walk to the beach. Location is wonderful.

Nice, quiet place.

Elegant but homey

Wonderful being so close to the beach. Neighbors incredibly warm and friendly, especially the fellow dog owners.

Fantastic property in great location

Title says it all. Great house just steps from the beach as well as the paved path that goes to town. Easy drive to downtown.

Nice, clean and well maintained

We had a great time staying at this property. The master bedroom is huge and other rooms are all very nice! although the house is next to looks like a relatively busy street, it’s actually very quiet. It’s well maintained and well stuffed. Will stay again.

Home away from home

We loved this place! We walked through the door and immediately felt like we were home. It was stocked with just the right things without being cluttered. It was spotless and everything was in its place. The beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and friendly with resources nearby.We highly recommend this property!

PERFECT BEACH GETAWAY!!! Has it All!!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful beach house! It's so close to everything. Our sweet dog loved the walks. The beach was right there. The hosts responded to us so quickly. It was perfection! Thank you for thinking of everything! You made our week!

My friends and I loved the house! The beds were comfortable (really important when you reach a certain age,) and the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with the basics. We appreciated the small details like extra toothbrushes for those who forgot, tons of bathroom and beach towels, liquid coffee mate in the kitchen, olive oil, spices, etc. The showers were clean and the water pressure was good. We enjoyed the spacious upstairs deck. The location was great. We were able to walk to restaurants, the beach and a beautiful walking/biking path. Communication with the host was great. We weren’t pushing the buttons on lock keypad hard enough so it didn’t work. I was able to get in with a digital code on my phone right away, though. I called the host the next morning and she was there within 15 minutes to help me.

The property was great! Plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids. Easy access to amenities, beach, and town. The property was clean and well appointed with all the things we needed! The neighborhood was lovely and parking was easy even for our huge rental van. The property even let the kids hose off and change after checkout because they had gotten so sandy at the beach before we left. The hosts were gracious and communicative, making sure we had everything we needed and more. The location made it super easy to get on the highway and travel around the area to see the sights. The proximity to the harbor, park and pier was great! The BBQ and fire pit were a great addition, and we enjoyed both! A really lovely time! I would recommend this property to anyone staying in the Ventura area!

All things great!

Location was a short walk to the beach(nice area), spacious rooms & bathrooms, fenced in yard for pets, kitchen was small but had everything we needed including spices (a bonus)! BBQ grill was pretty small. GREAT patio w/gas firepit! (off the Master bedroom is not ideal, but it worked) Uber close to town. Garage access & parking was a perk! This place was perfect and the price was fair. Thanks to the hosts for great communication from beg.-end and an APP to refer to for most questions. Stress-free process and well kept home! We will be back!

Very nice property

Everything was fine with this rental except TV cable. It was Roku with very limited selection and almost no real Live coverage. We couldnt get CNN or MSNBC and no live football even tho the games were on local networks. Also there were no local channels.

We offer Roku and Fire TVs in every room (4 TVs). We offer Spectrum TV in the App, and I purchased YouTubeTV so the guest could watch football. There is an app that says 'local' as well. We think we offer the best options for our guests with special programs they like to watch. We do not have cable TV, however.
