The best of Lake Lure is waiting to be experienced at this updated home just outside of town within the gates of the beautiful resort community of Rumbling Bald. Offering the perfect mix of modern charm and quaint seclusion, Creekside Cottage will be the ideal starting point for dreamy vacation days spent hiking, biking, boating, swimming, fishing, or exploring the vibrant downtown. This is one of western North Carolina's only multi-course golf destinations, and you will have Apple Valley Golf Course on-site. A shared pool and tennis courts are available nearby when you want to escape the summer heat or practice your backhand. You will also have a private oasis with a spacious deck, providing plenty of room to mingle and host summer cookouts.

Inside, the real magic reveals itself with brand-new flooring, a stone fireplace to cozy up beside, and elegant furnishings to keep everyone comfortable during downtime. The sectional and large TV will be the hub for movie nights, so bring along your account information to access streaming services! Meanwhile, the group's chef will be content preparing ingredients in the adjacent full kitchen boasting stainless steel appliances, a large island, and modern cookware. Best of all, the kiddos can stay entertained in the game room outfitted with a dartboard, Ping-Pong table, and basketball hoop!

RESORT AMENITIES
Rumbling Bald Resort amenities include a heated pool (open year round) 2 outdoor pools and lazy river (open Memorial Day to Labor Day) hot tub, spa and wellness center, mini golf, basketball and tennis courts, corn hole, horse shoes, lawn games, playground. 2 world class golf courses (Apple Valley and Bald Mountain). 3 Dining options (Legends on the Lake, The Gardens, Bears Cup Cafe, Eagles Nest).

THINGS TO KNOW
-Lake Lure is a man made lake that is drawn down 12 feet each winter season for maintenance. This will impact shorelines. Water will be back up to normal levels in mid April. Please be sure to reach out directly to organizations/businesses for current hours of operation.
-Lake Lure notice: Pontoon boats and non-motorized vessels may be no longer than 28 feet. All other boats, such as ski boats, fishing boats, deck boats, etc., may be no longer than 21 feet.
-Kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and pontoon boats can be rented from a local service from Memorial Week-Thanksgiving.
-Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
-Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
-There may be times of little or slow WiFi service as a result of the weather.
-Streaming is available with guests' own accounts.
-All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
-Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
-No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
-This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.
-All Vacasa properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

RUMBLING BALD GUEST PASSES
-Guest Passes can be picked up daily between 8:30am and 7:30pm at the Guest Services Desk in the lobby of Legends on the Lake.
-The name listed on the reservation must be present to collect the passes.
-It is preferred that reservations are submitted at least 5 days prior to arrival. Any last-minute requests will likely result in delays receiving your guest passes.
-Your reservation will need to include the number of guests 12 and over so that Rumbling Bald will provide the correct number of passes
-Passes will need to be picked up during business hours from Rumbling Bald guest services.
-There is a $50 fee if any passes need replaced.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.




Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
