This home and property are stunning. Guests describe it as "Out of a magazine!" "You must be an interior designer?" No, but I just have a natural talent for interior design and staging. There is no property in Victoria as beautiful and as unique as mine. Most homes are cookie cutter style, but not our home.
We ask that all guests be respectful of the property. This is our personal residence that from time to time we vacation out. We recently had some minor damage and it's difficult to get trades people in do work. We greet all of our guests and conduct a 15-30 min condition inspection where we also answer any questions you might have. We ask that you return our home in the same condition it was given to you in.
This is my personal residence. During bookings, I lock off my bedroom door and lock off my kitchen cabinets that have my personal food in them and go to my Mom's house where I will stay during your stay. This home comes with a walkthrough and a Condition Inspection which will take about 30 min max. We do not allow self-checkins.
I have a very BEAUTIFUL property. A lot of money and time has gone into updating this home. We have spent close to $300,000 on renos throughout the entire property and I have invested a great deal of my time taking care of my property both inside and out and that really shows.
If you do not think you will be take very good to excellent care of my residence, then it's best to find another listing. I am early retired person. We are quiet people.
I have tenants downstairs. They are a wonderful Ukranian family. I have been very blessed to have such good people live in my suite. My tenants park on the left side of the driveway. You must park on the right side of driveway. My tenants are quiet. They go to bed early around 9 pm and go to wake up at 5:30 in morning and leave by 6 am to go to work 6 days a week. If me having tenants is an issue, then please find another listing.
2 bedrooms each has a desk/lamp/chair/dresser/closet, 1 bathroom, dining room, massive kitchen and living room. Both rooms have a 44 inch LG Smart TV. Remote is easy to use. Just press the power button on the remote. Please make sure all TVs are back to cable and not in SMART TV mode. Netflix is only on the living room TV as I am limited to only 2 TVs on my account.
We have a garden and greenhouse in the back which I have to water every 2 days. I usually come in the morning. Watering can only be done in the mornings or evenings and not afternoons as this will burn the plants.
My BRAND NEW hardwood entry floors downstairs are made of birch which is a soft wood. Heavy suitcases cannot be dragged across the floors and there will be suitcase lines imprinted into my soft hardwood. You can see I already have some from previous guest. Heavy suitcases need to be carried up. I can assist guests, but it is best to bring lighter suitcases.
