Your kids are able to enjoy a new 1300 sq. ft. Caribbean Pirate Inspired Splash Pad downstairs by the pool. The area consists of a Pirate Sloop and Ship’s Bow with Slant Jets and Water Cannon, a Beached Boat Wet Slide, a Palm Tree with Water Dumping Bananas as well as a Tiny Tulip Flower Spray. You can see pictures of the Water Park placed at the end of the condo slideshow. It’s sure to keep your little Bucketheads busy throughout your vacation.



Phoenix V is one of the most relaxing condominium complexes on the Gulf coast. There is a reason more vacationers stay at this condo than any other in Orange Beach.



There is not a better place to stay for you and your family than Phoenix V. There are plenty of activities including a weight room, racquetball court, sauna, indoor pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, basketball court and outdoor pool. There is even a nice gazebo area to relax under while you are bar-b-quing.



Come relax on the spacious corner balcony with breathtaking views of the Gulf or sleep on the large king bed in the master. A queen bed in the 2nd bedroom, 2 queens in the 3rd bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. We are conveniently located next to restaurants, grocery stores and not far from the outlet malls.



FOR LARGE GROUPS WE DO HAVE ADDITIONAL 2 and 3BR on this same 8th floor!



Parking: You must purchase your parking passes upon arrival, they are a one time fee of $55 per vehicle. Any 3br unit you rent at Phoenix V guarantees you can purchase up to two parking passes, the front desk will sell you additional passes based on the occupancy of the complex during your stay but please do not expect the front desk to sell extra passes during the summer season.

We enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay. We had 8 people - 4 adults and 4 teens. The place was right on the beach and was easy access to the beach. We will be back!

Great Condo for Family Fun with my teenage and adult kids

This was one of the worst stays we’ve had in the many years we’ve been coming to this area. The condo was filthy, the room itself was dirty when we arrived. Multiple broken items in the condo- recliner chair, vacuum cleaner, siding around the floors. Bare minimum in the condo- not he tiniest amount of soap, one roll of toilet paper…cone prepared because there’s nothing here. Communication with this host has been unreliable. If you are traveling with infants or elderly, I would recommend finding another condo to stay in. The check in and check out process was a complete nightmare- only one elevator tower for the entire building. We waited over 30 minutes, in the heat, to bring our luggage up to the room upon check in while waiting for an elevator. We waited an hour for an elevator to check out. At least the weather and the beach were beautiful. If I could give 0 stars I would, highly disappointed.

Review

The night we checked in we were having issues with one of our toilets. I left a voice message with the number listed in my email, for Jill. No one ever replied. The floors were dirty in the unit upon arrival, the wait for the elevator was ridiculous and we had a unit that accommodated 10 people and had only 5-6 wash clothes.

Not impressed

We were at our door on check in day right at 4:30 (after waiting 30 minutes). This was explained on the description but at 4:30, our code would not work. We ended up waiting 2 hours and 15 minutes for maintenance after asking for a key (which they said they didn’t have) and got a key to the room after several failed attempts to reset the code. We have three young children and this was a huge inconvenience but we over looked it. The next day when we got back from dinner, we had been told our code would work and had to turn in the key. It did not work. We waited an hour that night and we’re able to get in with a code reset. The next morning, maintenance came back and we met them to fix the door. Yet again, it happened on the 3rd day. All in all we spent much of our vacation waiting on maintenance and calling the condo owner. This is not how we wanted to spend our “relaxing vacation.” Both drains in the bathrooms and the dishwasher were also broken. The condo owners said they would come fix and they never did. You can imagine how frustrating this was. However, the pool and splash pad were AMAZING for the kids and the location was great - but I would not stay here again or with this vacation rental company.

Easter weekend with family at the beach

The condo was nice but could use some updating and a good deep cleaning. The elevator situation was a downfall, 45 minute wait to get on the elevator. Only 1 of 4 elevator’s were operable day one and a second elevator the remainder of the stay. Average elevator trip was 10-12 minutes. There were no kitchen trash bags, sent PM an email and message in VRBO and had no response though out the 5 night stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, our group was pleased with our stay, however there were a few issues that made our stay not so great. The main issue were the TVs and Remotes. There is only 1 remote that works with any of the 4 TVs in the unit, and it only controls the channels, not the tv volume, etc. also, the cable itself was very spotty and often gave us an error message the the service was unavailable. Having 4 young kids with us during our stay, TVs are a necessity for time to wind down that we were unable to have. The other issue was there was mold in/around the shower head in the main bathroom. The elevators are a nightmare around check out/in time, although they do say they are getting new elevators Sept 30th. The location and beach were great, however. Our kids also really enjoyed having the variety of outdoor and indoor pools, and a splash pad.

Good location, large living space, but dirty

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The icemaker and bonus fridge are awesome additions to the condo, and the large living and dining spaces were great for our group. The kitchen was well equipped with appliances, plenty of plates, bowls, cups, silverware and cooking pots and pans. But throughout the place was dusty and dirty. There was mold in the washing machine, on the showerheads, and along the baseboards in the bathrooms. The shower in the shared bathroom did not drain well, so you were always standing in several inches of water during your shower. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes, so everything needed to be handwashed. All of the couch cushions were on wrong and were rather dirty and stained (though having 2 full couches as well as several chairs made the living space very comfortable for a large group). It was fairly clear that the "cleaning service" done between guests was just changing the sheets (but not putting them on the beds properly), replacing towels, and a quick sweep of the floors, not an actual cleaning, which makes the $200 fee feel very steep. Overall, our stay in the condo was fine – it is adequately equipped, and the view is great, but it definitely needs a thorough cleaning, general maintenance, and fresh coat of paint.

The downsides for us: right off the elevator so the first bedroom gets a lot of late noise and there wasn’t a blackout curtain in there. The vent in that room rattled really loudly when AC was on. The 3 dedicated queen beds have “crunchy” mattress protectors. Something that bugs me about these places in general is that you’re flying in from out of state and have to buy laundry detergent, dish soap, trash bags, coffee filters, paper towels & toilet paper for the 3 extra days you need them and a lot gets left behind or goes to waste. Can’t they see you’re staying for a week and leave a couple extra? Other than those little things, our family with 2 young kids loved the location, beach access, pool AND splash pad with a little slide, view, etc.

Hole in the wall of master bath, mildew on shower curtains, coffee table losing screws out of the casters -about to fall. Good: splash pad is wonderful for the littles. Lots of seating in living area. Kitchen well equipped -we cooked & ate most of our meals in unit. Good location-3 major grocery stores within 1 mile. Plenty of restaurants and amusements nearby, as well. Small refrigerator in corner of living room we used for drinks to save space for food in big refrigerator -a nice extra! Balcony was offset from other units - had a good bit of privacy. And I must always mention the spectacular view and sounds of the Gulf! Would stay there again, in spite of the “bad” items. They weren’t a deal breaker.

The process of renting this condo was easy, communication from vrbo and the owner was fast and all the information needed for our stay was provided. We had a good weekend!
