This Norris Lake House Rental Rockwater – Sleeps 28, DOUBLE DECKER DOCK. Features a no-wake Norris Lake waterfront location and a beautiful view of Norris Lake. Huge main floor great room with large gourmet kitchen and seated dining for 27. Great for family gatherings. Rockwater is located on a no wake, year round, deep water cove near one of the best water sports areas on the lake. There is also plenty of flat water for kayaking and canoeing right from our dock. Flat Hollow marina is conveniently located just 1,000 yards away by boat. Something for all ages. Your family will create memories that last a lifetime.

Bring your boats and park at your private dock which accommodates 1 boat covered and 2 boats uncovered. The kids will spend all day sliding from the dock's upper deck. No watercraft? No worries. Simply contact NorrisLakeWaterSports (ask for 10% Norris Lake Villas discount) offers delivery services. Flat Hollow and Powell Valley marinas also rent water craft. Due to liability reasons, we cannot provide flotation devices. We do provide the large floating dock.

The nearest marina with full services including boat ramp is Flat Hollow marina a couple miles away via road or 1/4 mile via water. The marina also has gas, ice, restaurant, beer, and small grocery items, and entertainment such as live music.
The driveway accommodates up to 7 vehicles. There is room for trailers parked above the driveway on the asphalt road (not the gravel road) and at the parking area above the nearby community boat ramp.

We provide a large propane grill with free propane. The large town of LaFollette, TN offers many typical businesses such as hospitals, drug stores, fast food, sit down restaurants, and full grocery stores. For reference to your target destination, Rockwater is located approximately 20 minutes east of downtown LaFollette.

Free, secure WiFi is via Starlink.

Great Family Getaway

Our family spends multiple weeks each summer on Norris Lake. Rockwater ranks among the best homes we have stayed at over the years! The home is large enough to easily accommodate large family gatherings, and Blake's thoughtful attention to detail ensures that vacation time is spent relaxing instead of trying to "get settled into the house". The covered and lighted dock is very easy to access, which is something that many homes on Norris lack. Rockwater's location also provides easy access to some of the flattest water on the lake. You will not be disappointed if you decide to stay at Rockwater!

Perfect for a large family

The house was perfect for our large family. There was plenty of room and more than enough beds. The dock is fantastic and the lake is absolutely gorgeous. We rented boats for the week from the marina nearby. Blake was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Our Family Stay at Rockwater

We had a great time and all of us loved it! It does take a bit of time to access stores and eating places, however. That said, being right on the lake was wonderful!

Amazing!

The house is beautiful and and we were very comfortable. (23 people). Blake was quick to respond to any questions I had. We had an amazing week and enjoyed the peaceful and serene area! Would absolutely recommend to any of my friends or family!

Thanks for the review. We are located in a rural area surrounded by a thick woods. We are about 7 miles off of SR 63, and our house is about 100 yards from the road. The roads are paved and well maintained, just few landmarks. If you have not been there before, it can seem a little more hidden than it really is. Thanks again. We designed and built the home for our family and hope other families will enjoy it as much as your family.

As Good As Advertised

The property was amazing and very well kept. Plenty of space for our group. Very clean and plenty to do in the house. Bringing a boat or renting one would be highly recommended. It’s a pretty remote spot but absolutely perfect for boating and water sports and activities.

Reid Christmas Vacation

We were very pleased with the property, was well equipped for the 23 of us, kitchen, linens and towels and etc. The dock was great. All enjoyed the stay. Would stay again.

Loved Rockwater!!

This was a wonderful property for a family reunion! We slept 30 comfortably, with plenty of room to hang out, cook and play! Beautiful indoors and out. The kitchen was really well- stocked, and there was even seating for everyone... which was perfect for Thanksgiving. Thank you for a great vacation. We hope to return!

Family Vacation /Seventeenth Year

Our family group of 23 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rockwater. The house was immaculate with sleeping and eating accommodations more than adequate for our family. The pool table, game table, and TVs encouraged activity on rainy days. The steps to the dock are safe and the dock is new and has easy access to the boat.

Thanksgiving fun!!

We came from Indiana and met family from Florida. We were very pleased with the layout of the home , it was open and spacious enough that when our 22 guests were all in the kitchen dining area we were not on top of each other.. we enjoyed the Chanel behind the house and the Beautiful nature that surrounds the house.. there was plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms and seating.. we loved our time at this home.. the only downfall is it takes 40 min to get to any store, so stop before you begin your journey up! Thanks Blake!!!!

5 Family vacation

As a large group, we have met for a lake vacation for 14years. Always a different home. Next year will be the exception, as we have already made arrangements to book this home again next year. This home is PERFECT for large groups with kids of all ages . Some of our " children" are getting married and having children of their own, but in a home like this, we never felt crowded. We spent some of the evenings singing and laughing on the deck, and while the cove neighbors are close, that just added to the fun. The location is remote, and the WiFi is unreliable, but you are there to enjoy each other and the beautiful surroundings. We were lucky enough to see bald eagles in flight and a few deer on our morning hikes. And while it rained nearly every day, we had plenty do entertain ourselves with indoors. Rent this home, you won't regret a second of your time spent there!

Zik Family Vacation

We had an amazing vacation this year. The house was perfect for our large active family of 10 adults and 3 children. We especially enjoyed the kitchen. It was big enough for the whole family to get together and cook dinner each night. The dock was great for our swimming and boating activities. We had a blast! I would rent this house again and gladly recommend it to our family and friends.

Beautiful house

I could tell by the pictures that this house would be very nice but it's really more beautiful in person. Very large kitchen, dining, living area that make it very easy and comfortable for many to gather. Perfect for large families who want to spend time together. The kitchen is a joy to cook in. My family has been renting a "Thanksgiving House" in this area for several years now and this is the best one yet.

Lake Norris Rockhouse

Norris Lake is great! We had plenty of room at the house and loved the private dock and privacy! We had a group of 18 with kids and they loved the boating, tubing and swimming! The kitchen is super at this lovely home! Tips: bring inner tubes and floating toys for the kids! We rented a pontoon boat and brought our jet skis and speedboat. That way some people could fish and leisurely boat while others waterskied and did the wakeboard!

Beautiful home for a family vacation. We had 21 people staying in the home and it didn't feel crowded! All of the rooms were accurate to what we saw in the pictures. The property was clean and well maintained. I would recommend the property to both family and friends. Be sure to have a car to travel to the store if you need anything - it is a bit of a drive but that was expected from all the information given to us prior to renting the home. The water was great for the boat and jet ski's we rented. We had a great week with our family!

A week's vacation

This prorerty was well suited size wise for our family that had 22 persons in attendance for our week long vacation. The descripition of the property was very accurate. The family had a very enjoyable week. We did have trouble with the internet connection causing a lot of problems for two or three persons who continued doing some work (always on call).The property was difficult to reach by car and travel to grocery stores problematic because of distance. The property is well placed for those who want a "get away". Overall a good experience and value. Recommended with the above exceptions. Keep in mind this is not a fresh water lake.

Unfortunately, we had to accept some tradeoffs in exchange for the peace and privacy. The roads to the house are good paved roads through the country, albeit with few landmarks and street signs. The internet is sometimes affected by storms as was the case during this week. We recommend stopping at the grocery on the way in, or to make one trip after arriving. Incidentals can be picked up at carry outs or the dock nearby. Once there, no need to leave.

Fabulous family fun!

My family and I had a great time at Rockwater this summer. It had everything you could ever need, tons of space and was like new. The dock was very close to several floating houses, but it wasn't a detraction from the overall atmosphere for me.

Family Thanksgiving

14 of our family spent Thanksgiving in this beautiful home. The home was very clean, in excellent shape and very comfortable. The deck was a wonderful place to gather, and the dock ws very acessible. The kitchen was comfortable and very well equiped for cooking, and the open layout allowed us all to be together while preparing as well as dining and cleaning up. It was also very spacious allowing for an after dinner nap in the quiet! The cove and surrounding area this home is located in is beautiful and offered easy access to fishing and hiking. Making the rental arrangements was very easy with the owner being extremely responsive. We had one small issue on Thanksgiving day and notified the owner, not really expecting to hear anything back until Friday. In a very short time the owner had replied with a "quick fix" and also made arrangements to address the problem later that (Thanksgiving) day! Absolutly wonderful service and support! We hope to return to this home in the future, and would highly reccomend it to others during any season.

Beautiful Home!

We recently stayed for a week in this home at Norris Lake. The house was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with nice dishes, pots and pans, appliances, linens, etc. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well stocked with linens, towels, and washcloths. The beds were clean and comfortable. We needed to contact the owner twice, and his response was prompt and courteous. The covered decks with the fans made for pleasant outdoor relaxation. The only word of caution would be on the path down to the lake from the house. It is steep and not paved for part of the way and could be difficult for older people or small children. I would definitely stay here again and/or recommend it to friends.

In July 2012 we added a flight of stairs with handrails. The steps offer an alternative to the path. In addition, there are concrete steps starting 10 feet or so above the shoreline and extending into the water down to the winter low.
