One of the best trips my family has ever taken! The caboose is charming with amazing views and plenty of furry company. The house was clean and the yard/fire pit area was spectacular. The only negative is the water smells a bit funky, but that should not be a deterrent because this trip is so special. Do not miss out, book the caboose!!

The location was great! The stars at night and the views during the day all were scenic. Cool to see and hear the animals at the farm next to our location. The one bathroom however was a challenge along with the smell of well water, but once you became adjusted it was okay. The air conditioning works well if staying during the summer. There's are nice towns nearby for breakfast and coffee.

So cute! Our stay was great easy to get to, bed was comfortable and the kitchen had the basics we needed. Very nice underfloor heating in the little house. Would come again!

Visit to rural living.

Great place for families with kids. A one of a kind farm experience. It is a very relaxing place with beautiful views.

A unique place to stay in the area

Charming place. Very clean. Great views of the surrounding valley. It was a convenient location for visiting friends and family in the area.

Wonderful stay in the country

We found the quiet and surrounding farm truly relaxing. Even though we drove sixty miles roundtrip each day, the drive was beautiful and relaxing. The only negative was the wifi being intermittent and the listed password was inaccurate. Overall, a good week.

Summer Trip

Great place, Great experience! Can't wait to go back in the future. Highly recommend to all, especially those with kids. Our son became fast friends with all the farm animals, especially Jackie the donkey

Special place on a farm

We stayed here while my son was playing in Oneonta at the Cooperstown tournament. It was a little far to drive back and forth multiple times a day, but it was such a special place it was worth it. My younger son loved feeding the animals

This was a great spot!

This was a great spot for a getaway. Kids would love that caboose experience and the nearby animals who were so nice to say hello when we arrived! We found it easy to get to Howe Caverns and the Fennimore Cooper Museum in Cooperstown. We saw some beautiful sunrises in such brilliant color. Very clean and comfortable!

Unique place to stay

Nothing was a surprise about this place , it was exactly as described. It was more adorable than the pics online. The beds in the house were comfy and I love the way it was decorated. I want to thank the farmers who shoveled the snow for us, too.

Excellent stay

What a perfect setting for us ... we so enjoyed the view while making s'mores over the fire. Short 25 minute drive to Cooperstown. Only suggestion is to add a little extra padding to the caboose beds. They are a bit hard.

Pleasant location and farm animals

Overall had a lovely time at the cabin and caboose. The view from the cabin is great; it was a convenient 30 minute drive from Cooperstown; and the farm animals were great neighbors. Only small issue was that the water on site was a bit smelly - not sure if this was just a temporary thing on our weekend or a more long term condition.

This place is phenomenal. Beautiful scenery, working farm with animals close by to watch.

We came to the area to go to the baseball hall of fame. The drive to town was about 20 minutes and very picturesque. The farm itself was a memory for all. Well constructed , well maintained and extremely clean rental. The fire pit are with great view, great seating and landscaping very appealing. This is a great place for all ages but with young children a treat. To live on a farm, feed the animals and sleep in a caboose.. What more would a child need.
