Cabin with fantastic views on 8 acres - 20 Min to historic downtown Durango

NOTE: 4WD/AWD required in winter (December through mid-March). There is a 2nd vacation rental on the property 50 yards from the cabin, but there are no shared spaces.

Our 2 bedroom/1 bathroom cabin is just 20 minutes (9 miles) to historic downtown Durango and 45 minutes to Purgatory Ski Resort (33 miles). Situated on 8 acres offering privacy and seclusion - yet just mins from downtown Durango and at an elevation of 8,200 feet, always cooler in the summer than downtown. Enjoy an alpine setting with room to roam and exceptional views, while being close to all of the incredible amenities and recreation you come to Durango to experience.

The cabin features plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers and a fabulous deck off the main living space with expansive views. The cabin features fast WIFI and all TVs are streaming capable (no Cable TV). ATV's cannot be ridden on the property.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

This cabin is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
