A lovely home in the pines! Perfect in every way with all the amenities too.Quiet & peaceful & close to Durango. The beds were comfortable & the hot tub rocks!We will definitely be back next year to enjoy the great outdoors & fall colors.Our host was fantastic. Courteous and kind and always quick to respond.Two thumbs up for this Vrbo!

This amazing spot in Durango did not disappoint! It was a lovely place to call “home” for a week: very clean, well furnished, comfortable beds, great hot tub and views galore. The kitchen was roomy and well stocked for cooking ease. We would highly recommend Soaring Pines Retreat if you love mountain getaways that are pet friendly. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

We stayed for a week and enjoyed every bit of it. House was exactly as described. The beds were very comfortable and we made use of the hot tub. Kitchen was very well stocked. The house was hot with no a/c, but we stayed during a very warm week and we survived. Overall, it was great and we would definitely stay here again!

Great views, only 13-15 min from downtown. Easy check in process. Last 1/2 mile of road is gravel.

The house was wonderful and we had an amazing vacation. There are a few things that we found that you needed to note: there was no remote for the light/fan in the bedroom upstairs on the left, the remote in the downstairs bedroom is inoperative. There is a need for a full length and a chair in the downstairs bedroom. We couldn't find a snow shovel.None of these are major but notable. Thanks Peggy

This house was very comfortable. The rental people were so nice to us. I came down sick and was in the doctors office the day were supposed to leave for Durango. They took a full day off and did not charge us. We were two days late on arrival. Thank you so much. I did have a doctors note. My dogs loved the location, but there are a lot of dogs near by and not all of them on leash. Stars at night were beautiful. Kitchen was nice, sofa was a 10, bed was comfy.

This house was perfect for our stay! It is spacious, updated, tastefully decorated and has a beautiful view. In warmer weather, the deck would have been a great place to enjoy the view, but in the cooler temperatures, the hot tub was a nice outdoor feature. The beds were comfortable, though very high, which might be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. The house was clean and I appreciated that basic items like hand soap, laundry detergent, hand lotion, toilet paper and paper towels were all provided. I also appreciated that other useful items like storage bags, foil, tea and spices were available as well. My only complaint would be that the shower heads weren’t great, and getting the water to come out warm in the master shower was counterintuitive- the further you turned the handle toward warm, the colder it got (handle at 2:30 on a clock face seemed to be the sweet spot for anyone who needs to know). The location is fairly remote, but it’s only about 15 minutes to downtown Durango. We would definitely stay here again.

Really loved the two rooms upstairs for the kids. Hot tub was huge and gorgeously maintained.Great ciews.Pets loved walking in the forest Quick jump to town.
