Come stay with us in our large, nicely decorated, duplex apartment (2292 sq. ft.), is located in a small private complex of only 15 units with a shared swimming-pool, gated parking and a delicious pastry shop (Fabrica Velha) below.
The complex is a short (5 minute) walk to the Carvoeiro center shops, restaurants, bars, pubs, supermarkets and the picturesque Carvoeiro beach, one of the most photographed in the central Algarve!
The apartment can accommodate up to 6 adults and 1 child.
Entrance to the property is via a large sun terrace with outdoor dining furniture - perfect for al fresco dining on the warm Algarve evenings - with patio doors and main door entrance leading to the lounge/dining area.
The apartment is spaciously set out on two floors, separated by a spiral staircase from the lounge area.
The LOWER FLOOR consists of the open-plan lounge with 2 sofas and a large smart TV and dining area with a new dining table and chairs and a small office desk area.
Off this is a double bedroom with (new Mattress and topper), a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, large fridge, oven and ample pots, pans and cutlery.
The ground floor also features a utility room with washing-machine and a bathroom complete with shower, toilet and wash basin.
The UPPER FLOOR consists of a double bedroom (new Mattress and topper), a twin bedroom, a single bed in the library (for a 7th person) and a full equipped bathroom with a bath/shower, toilet and a wash basin.
The twin and double bedrooms on this level share a large and very private sun terrace with two sun beds accessed by patio doors.
Car hire is not necessary if you plan on staying in town, however the apartment has a private gated car park for those who wish to hire a car to explore all the great beaches that the Algarve has to offer.
The top bakery café is also part of the condominium complex and it's so great to wake up to the smell of their freshly baked treats!
With a GREAT location, 3 large and comfortable rooms, fiber optic wi-fi, smart tv, well equipped kitchen, secure location, swimming-pool, Casa Nelly is the ideal place to stay in the heart of Carvoeiro!

Lovely apartment in the heart of Carvoeiro, within walking distance to the beach, grocery stores and many lovely restaurants. The apartment is spacious with a well equipped kitchen. The beds are super comfy and everywhere was spotlessly clean.There is plenty of outside space with a front courtyard equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue and a lovely roof terrace that we were able to make use of when the sun finally came out! We also had access to the pool but unfortunately didn't get the weather for it.Communication with the hosts was great and they very kindly allowed us an earlier check in.We were also greeted with something to eat and drink which was very welcome after a long journey. We were all-- 6 of us in our 70ies-- completely impressed with the property which was fully equiped from every angle. The hosts even provided fresh fruit and milk and bread which we consumed after our evening arrival.

Just a short walk to the beach! Wonderful value. Easy check-in, quiet gated apartment building with pool and parking!Property manager was friendly, quick to respond to any questions or requests, and recommended a lovely bakery just downstairs, which we went to most mornings. There was a binder with information about the property, contact info, etc. Our only disappointment was the very limited supply of essentials, given that we were a group of 6 people staying for 1 week. No paper towel was provided for the kitchen, very little toilet paper, and only a drop of laundry detergent for the washing machine which is one of the listed features of the apartment. When we quickly ran out and inquired about getting some more of these essentials for our stay, we were told we had to buy our own and only enough was provided "for arrival". A family doesnt want to be buying large amounts of toulet paper or laundry detergent while traveling, then having to either leave it behind. Just a consideration!

Thanks so much for sharing this feedback. I spoke with our property manager to align our expectations for provided essentials—our goal is to ensure guests can start their holiday comfortably with initial supplies (unfortunately we are unable to provide unlimited amounts). I've instructed her to include at least one roll of paper towels in the kitchen going forward.
She confirmed that three rolls of toilet paper were left in each bathroom (six total) for your six-night stay. If that doesn't match what you found, we'd love to hear more so we can better meet our guests needs.

A perfect week in Carvoeiro

Time spent in Carvoeiro
This property had an excellent location, lots of room inside, super clean and so easy to walk to many amazing areas in town.
It was our first trip to Carvoeiro and we will certainly be back and hopefully for longer next time

Great location
Apartment exactly as described, short walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants and bars a few mins away. Yet apartment area is quiet so really is the best of both Worlds.
Very comfortable beds, plenty of towels with a well equipped kitchen. Great TV with plenty of choices in English.

Great Stay in Carvoeiro
Plenty of space, clean and well-equipped. Sonia, who managed check-in, was very helpful and the whole experience was straightforward. The pool was lovely and very welcome in the hot weather. Lots of great beaches nearby and the apartment is easy walking distance to Carvoeiro beach and restaurants.

Lovely holiday home in Carvoeiro
We've just returned from a 2 weeks stay in Casa Nelly and found the house to have everything we could need for a family holiday. Clean, spacious and well equipped with a good location for anywhere you'd need to go in Carvoeiro. The booking process was efficient and the owners helpful and responsive. Property in good location, easy access to town. Accommodation was light and very airy. Property was fully functional, the kitchen was well equipped which was a particular need of ours and there was adequate space for the family. It did however feel a little tired, not quite as fresh as the images portrayed, we feel it is in need of some TLC. The property was very clean on arrival and the hosts were exceptional at communicating and met all our needs and answered all our questions. Sonia was most helpful.

Excellent apartment close to beach
Wonderful apartment. Everything you need is there. Beds comfy, bathrooms clean, kitchen stocked with utensils and plastics as good as your own home, towels clean and good quality. Instructions for entry and communication with owner clear and easy to follow. Short walk to beach and great pool in complex. Highly recommended.

Perfect holiday
We had a great stay for 1 month in January with our family.
Danielle and Matt were super friendly and arranged for us everything we needed for our youngest child( 3 months old).
During our stay if we had any questions we could always contact Sonia and she would help us immediatedly.

A perfect place to stay
We have had a very good vacation in this appartement, it was clean and there was nothing missing in the appartement. And the pittoresque village was beautiful with a lot's of restaurants.
And we received a nice bottle of whitwine with a bottle of water. We were surprised about that, thanks again.
Perhaps we come back for an another stay it was a pleasure to stay there.

It's a large size unit, confortable, well equiped, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, swimming-pool within the complex.
As we travel this way too, we try to have the little extra for our guests to enjoy their holidays at Casa Nelly with high satisfaction, like a bottle of water and bottle of Portuguese wine!

The Algarve has so much to offer! We think Casa Nelly is perfect for those who prefer to be in the vibrant Carvoeiro center, within walking distance to all the restaurants, bars and shops that our beach town has to offer!

Many of the apartment accommodations in town have 50 to 100 units each. We love Casa Nelly because there are only 15 units (spread across 2 buildings) in the complex with very secure gate access to the apartments and car park. The smell of fresh bread every morning is also sure to send you sweet dreams!
