Jane was a superb host. She maintained excellent communication before and during the trip, answering all queries promptly and providing helpful suggestions. It was clear that she was a passionate and caring host. The house itself was in an excellent location. It was within walking distance of the beach, cafes, restaurants, pool and walking paths. The home was in a very safe area and we felt comfortable walking around even at night. The house was well maintained and equipped with everything needed to function during the day including a dishwasher, washing machine, umbrellas and beach towels. The grounds of the home were also well maintained and it was a pleasure sitting outside on the patio. Overall an excellent experience.

We loved our stay at Casa Mima. The house is even nicer than it looks in the photos - spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with all you could need during your stay. It's ideally located within Monte Carvoeiro and close to the lovely pool, but maintains privacy with its own garden, patio area and dedicated barbecue area which we made very good use of! The upstairs bedroom is huge, as is the ensuite bathroom, and the bed is super comfy. We loved the sunrise view from bed every morning and the stunning sunsets at the front of the house in the evenings. The location is perfect for visiting local restaurants, not far to walk to the beach and town, and close to beautiful walks. We also found Uber very reasonable and readily available for going to the larger supermarket, and exploring beyond Carvoeiro.Thank you to Jane who was a very responsive host from the minute we booked, available for anything we needed before or during our stay. We'd love to come back!

Spacious house with all the essential elements. Close walking distance to local restaurants & beaches & walking trails. Really appreciated the washing machine for laundry, the onsite swimming pool and amenities. AC is only in bedrooms, would be nice to a pedestal oscillating fan for the living room. Otherwise everything was great.

Jane was great. She provided answers to questions before we arrived and was very helpful while we were there. The accommodations are spacious, clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. The location is fabulous in Carvoeiro, a short walk down the hill to the town, the restaurants and the beach area.
There is a beautiful boardwalk a short walk away.
This is the view of the beach and part of the town 5 minutes from the front door.
Another view of the town from the other side.

Beautiful Carvoeiro

My family & I have just returned from a weeks stay here. The house is spotlessly clean and spacious and had a lovely garden where sat & had breakfast each morning. Carvoeiro is only a short walk away and is a beautiful village with lots of fabulous restaurants. We absolutely loved our stay in Janes house and will definitely be back.
