Denne skat ved havet tilbyder strandferie på sit bedste. Med udsigt over Atlanterhavet bevarer Sea View mange af dets charmerende 1900-tal, såsom det originale perleplade og trægulve, men det er blevet smukt renoveret og kan prale med et moderne køkken, badeværelser og mere.

Et ideelt hjem at flygte til - uanset om du ønsker at komme væk fra det hele eller har et eventyr! Nyd morgenkaffe på den vintage svingende kærester på din veranda, eller leg kroket på den spredte græsplæne med familie og venner.

Dette hjem har fire soveværelser, et åbent konceptkøkken, stue og spisestue, to fulde bade. Derudover er der en charmerende fronthule med originale beadboardvægge og en ekspansiv veranda. En sidepatio med grill og terrassebord er perfekt til sommerens udendørs spisning. Alle med fortryllende udsigt over havet.

Familie og gæster har kun en kort gåtur langs Ocean Avenue Ext. til Short Sands Beach og de mange restauranter og butikker i centrum af York Beach. Også en kort gåtur væk er Nubble fyrtårn og Long Sands Beach.

Great home at an amazing location. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space to comfortably sit our party of six adults. The host was extremely quick with communications. Highly recommend.

Family Get-Away

The property was perfect for us along with adult children. The location was perfect! We loved being able to walk to the beach, town and lighthouse. We had everything we needed. House was very well stocked.

Perfect!

A charming home with the most beautiful view of the ocean. The home was very clean, and has everything you could possibly need. The property managers, Barbara and Ed, were very accommodating and communicative. Can’t wait to get back here next year !

I can't say enough about how much our family enjoyed this perfect home in its perfect location. The house is lovely and easily accomodated our family comprised of 3 generations with ages ranging from 5 to 74. The home is both roomy and cozy and decorated with wonderful architectural and decorating touches. We used every part of the home. Our family gathered in kitchen cooking and hanging around the island w/bar stools, we used the dining room table for puzzles and games (we mostly dined outside on the porch and picnic table), the study's leather couch and chairs were perfect for reading, and the front porch was always occupied with some one on the porch swing and others around the porch table. Beds were all comfortable. And we used the adironack chairs in the front yard as well as the chairs by the waterfront. Some of us walked to Short Sands Beach and some rode bikes. The kids (big and little) climbed rocks. All went to Goldenrod and the Funarama Arcade. Some went to the little amusement park. The hosts were great at communicating before the trip and available for tips while we were in York as well. This is a place we would spend our entire summer at if we could. Definitely a place we want to enjoy again.

Absolutely wonderful

Our whole family stayed at this sweet cottage facing the Atlantic and a short walk to Short Sands beach and the Nubble Lighthouse. With eight of us it was a very full house but everyone was comfortable. We were there during unusually hot (90 degrees+) temps in June and made much use of window fans on the 2nd floor where three of the bedrooms are and then the two large air conditioners on the first floor . Even though the temps cooled down at night we still could have used an AC on the second floor for sleeping. Otherwise, every other amenity was provided and the kitchen was wonderful. We all had a great time playing ball on the large front lawn and loved being able to sit in the provided Adirondack chairs at the edge of the ocean out directly in front of the cottage. Our hosts were delightful and available for any questions or needs we had. Bests hosts we've ever had at a rental. We have already made plans to return next year!

Mother-daughter weekend

My sister and I took my mother to ME for a long weekend and had an excellent experience staying at the Sea View! The pictures don’t do the house justice - just the perfect mix of a classic coastal home with modern renovations that give you all the comfort you need. The house was very clean with comfortable beds and linens and a well stocked kitchen. We spent a lot of time on the porch watching the waves. We’d definitely return!

Amazing Way To End The Summer

This property was fantastic. Perfect for my family with two small children and my sister-in-laws family. So close to short sands beach and only minutes walking distance to the town and wild kingdom. Great front lawn area as well for the kids to play on. Will definitely be going back!

Family Getaway Memorial Day Weekend

The house was amazing with excellent views and very a nice interior. We had a very rainy weekend but it didn't matter because the house was so nice, clean and roomy we really enjoyed it. We had a lot of family time with dinners/movies together and totally enjoyed the house. Ed was very friendly and good to deal with if we had an issue. I can't wait to rent it again and hopefully get to enjoy the lovely front porch. The house is amazing!

Great location

Had a family getaway in York in September and stayed at Sea View for 3 nights. Enjoyed every minute we were there. House is well updated and had everything we needed. Ed was great to work with before during and after our stay.

Love York in September! The house had spectacular ocean views and the house was clean and well stocked! It was updated but still had that old home feel. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely perfect location

The Sea View, a great home in pristine condition with a beautiful view of the ocean, sunrise and sunset all from the same point. The rocky coastline is right out the front door and Short Sands beach is 100 yards down the road. Town is an easy walk. The home easily accommodated our 6 adults and 2 babies. We really enjoyed the Sea View. It was clean, comfortable and beautiful, inside and out. Ed was a great host. We loved it.

York Beach, dream vacation home!

What a wonderful place to stay! The house is right on the Ocean and a short walk to short sands. House is very clean and updated. Did not have to bring linens or bath towels. The King size beds were so comfortable. I would recommend this place very highly!

Excellent property. Clean, well-furnished and appointed.

Awesome vacation home with a fabulous view!

We are from southern NH but currently live in California, Arizona, New York and New Hampshire! When we arrived the house was in pristine condition. On the first day we noticed that the wireless internet service did not work. Ed, was on it immediately. He contacted his carrier and got a repair date of Monday. Then Ed gave us access to the wireless in the house next door so we would not be without connection. Much to our surprise on Monday, Memorial Day, the repair occurred and we had super-fast connection for the rest of the week. The place is right out of a magazine. The kitchen has all the utensils necessary to cook large meals and the gas grill will hold a ton of food! It even has a large lobster pot for cooking Maine lobsters or steamers. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and all the towels we needed for the week. The Adirondack chairs on the porch made a nice spot for afternoon reading and across the street there were more Adirondack chairs offering a front row view of the ocean, Short Sands and sunsets. We wished there was more parking. The house has space for 2 cars to park (or 3 tiny cars). We cannot say enough about Ed. He was extremely helpful and accommodating. Throughout the entire process of getting a contract, sending deposits and then finally arriving, communication was quick and pleasant. If you want a great house right on the water with a fabulous view, this is the house to rent. You will not be disappointed by the sunsets that you get to see every night either. The price is reasonable and the amenities are excellent plus it is very close to outlets, restaurants and anything else you’d need during a vacation. Thank you Ed for making our vacation a wonderful one with family and friends! We hope to be back soon.

Pristine, beautiful, charming, perfect location.

Upon our arrival, we found this beautiful home in pristine condition. It is even prettier than the pictures we viewed on-line. It is spacious, beautifully renovated and charming. The beds are nice and comfortable. We slept great. The front porch was enjoyed every day for hours at a time. It was the gathering place for our family. That view! The home is located in a quiet neighborhood, but is a short walk to Short Sands or Long Sands. The location is absolutely perfect. Ed could not have been nicer. We are grateful for having had the opportunity to stay in this lovely home. We hope to return again!

Fabulous place to spend 50th Anniversary vacation!

Here for 3 weeks to celebrate our 50th Anniversary with our children, grandchildren & great grandson. Everything was so perfect, from the beauty of the cottage with its amazingly updated features and its spectacular view from the front porch. It had all the comforts of home. Ed and Barbara were terrific and made sure we had happy at all times. Looking forward to returning next year.

Best vacation property you could imagine

We were so impressed with the home! It was truly a home away from home. We have stayed at other properties in York, and this home blows away all over vacation rentals. It is immaculate, has all the comforts of a real home and is newly renovated. The bathrooms and kitchen are modern, full size and make a huge difference for a traveling family. Ed and Barbara keep the home immaculate, well stocked with amenities and are very friendly. The front yard and porch are beautiful, and the short walk to the beach and town are picturesque. If we could, we would spend our entire summer at 51 Ocean Ave every year!

Wish we could have stayed all summer!

If we had our own beach cottage this is exactly where I would want it to be and what I would want it to look like! Great location! Easy walk to beach and town. Spectacular view of the ocean. Amazing sunsets! Great front lawn for kids to play on or if you like yard games like we do (Bocci Ball, Corn Hole, Ladder Ball, etc,) all while overlooking the ocean. Great sea breezes. House is super clean. Kitchen is brand new and bathrooms have obviously been recently remodeled. Working with owner/manager Ed was great! We will definitely be back!

My favorite rental in Maine!

This property really is my favorite rental in Maine! The ocean view from the front porch is stunning and the porch comes in handy for the occasional rainy day. The huge front yard is perfect for bbq-ing and lawn games. We stayed here before and loved it so much we decided to return not knowing they were in the process of renovating. About a week before our stay, we got an email saying the renovations were complete. We were blown away! The kitchen and dining/living areas were enlarged and completely modernized and another bedroom was added downstairs. The upstairs bedrooms and bath had been updated too. Everything was clean and well maintained. I liked that linens were included. It was one less thing we had to pack. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals at home. The owner was very pleasant and easy to deal with. He promptly answered the many questions I emailed him in the months leading up to our stay. We got to meet him and his wife while we were there. They were so nice and friendly. It was a pleasure renting from them. They were so accommodating to all of our requests. At the end of our stay, I forgot to empty one of the dressers and they shipped everything back to us. Our security deposit was promptly refunded as well. The location is perfect too. It is a short, easy walk down to town (restaurants, shopping, the arcade & amusement park) and Short Sands Beach. Long Sands is a little further (maybe a mile) but we walked there one day too or we would park in one of the daily lots. My husband enjoyed walking across the road from the house and fishing off the rocks. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable home close to all area attractions. We have rented many houses in the area but I really do think this property is the best!
