Our stay was wonderful. The unit is beautiful, spacious and clean, with an unbelievable view of the beach and nature preserve. The resort was manicured and friendly with a great pool, convenient access to the beach and beautiful tennis courts. Dining and shops were nearby but the property is nicely secluded and quiet.

The kitchen had condiments and other basic essentials for food preparation. It was pleasant and easy to cook in the kitchen. The furniture was tasteful and comfortable. From the living room windows one viewed the gulf and tidal lagoon as well as beautiful sunsets. Kathryn Mack was very helpful and accommodating.

Great place

This was perfect winter getaway for family! The pool and grounds were great and close proximity to tigertail beach made it convenient for shelling. The sunsets from the balcony were amazing! It is a bit of a walk to the beach but it is a beautiful walk on wide open sand! Would stay here again, was clean and had everything we needed.

Spring break

We loved the quietness of the area and the access to Tiger Tail Beach. It was a beautiful view. The condo has a lot of little things you didn't know you needed.

Christmas Vacation

Overall, the property was exactly as advertised. Excellent location, perfect gulf sunset view. Excellent kitchen for cooking meals and very convenient location to nearby restaurants.

Great location!

My wife and I stayed at this location for 2 weeks and loved every minute! This was a clean, updated residence with amazing views! The accommodations were outstanding, and we made use of the pool and pickle ball courts. The staff was top-notch and the neighbors were very friendly. We will definitely be returning!

Wonderful stay !

Very well equipped condo with a truly spectacular view on water, especially at sunset. We appreciated relaxing on the balcony and the walk to the beach. The host and her property manager have been very responsive. We highly recommend.

Winter break

The property is in a great location. With a wrap around deck you have views in multiple directions. The unit was clean and nicely furnished. Absolutely no complaints.

Late Winter Vacation

We've been staying at Southseas Northwest on Marco Island most years since the late 90's. Never been disappointed. Communication with the owner was great but with the property manager could be improved.

Absolutely beautiful!

Pictures do not do this place justice! The kitchen is stunning with beautiful granite counters, accent lighting, and new appliances. The views of sunsets over the Gulf and Tigertail Beach and lagoon from the wrap-around balcony were stunning! It is well-equipped with cooking essentials and even has beach chairs and shelling bags for use at the beach. The check-in process was smooth and communication with Kathy, the owner, and Monte, the property manager was great. We appreciated that Kathy made her beautiful home available to us and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a sunny getaway!

Beautiful views!

We had a wonderful 2 week stay here. The complex is very large but this unit is absolutely perfect. It is equipped with the basics and decorated beautifully. The views are amazing with gorgeous sunsets every night and the unobstructed views facing towards the north are so peaceful. The view overlooking the lagoon is very unique. Most importantly you are not looking into another tower! The walk to the beach is long but not a problem. The beach is beautiful and the shelling is very good. I would highly recommend this unit and would love to come back again.

Nice sunsets. Clean. Bed very comfortable

Everything was great. Just one issue. We used the pull cart that had 2 great fold up chairs and umbrella. We walked about 2 miles to get away from crowd. Had coolers packed, ready to spend the whole day. The umbrella in the cart was broken. To far to walk back. Just need a new umbrella. Only complaint. Nice condo!

Spring getaway

We had a wonderful week in Kathryn's condominium! The unit was well-appointed and the views were spectacular! We really enjoyed having an end unit which enhanced our sunrise and sunset views and gave us the extra space we needed having two 25 year olds working from home. As tennis players, we loved the convenience of the tennis courts (which were always available as everyone else was enjoying one of 12 pickle ball courts on property). The pool was a little busy since it was spiring break, but we were always able to find a chair. The beach was beautiful and a short walk from the pool. Everyone in the building was so friendly! The laundry room was immaculate and very close to the condo. I would highly recommend this property!

Doubt you can do better

We stayed in 903 for most of Jan and Feb 2023 and loved it. Unit was better than described in Kathy's listing and previous reviews. Unit is surprisingly large (due to windows and balconies), modern, clean and well equipped. Kathy and Monti were very helpful and responsive. Large wrap-around balcony and smaller second balcony off kitchen need special mention because they allow one to get out of the wind and sun, if desired. Another desirable feature is the north-facing view of Tigertail Beach park, rather than view of adjacent buildings and noisy pool. Only shortcoming was lack of washer/dryer in unit, which seems common in Marco. Laundry down the hall worked out OK though.

Just another day in paradise!

I have rented at South Seas since 2008 and this is by far the most gorgeous unit I have stayed in to date. From the moment you step in, you will appreciate the spectacular panoramic view from the wrap around balcony. We enjoyed our nightly ritual of wine at sunset and got such a kick out of the clapping and shouts just as the sun disappeared into the horizon. There is a bonus small balcony off the kitchen as well with a nice view of the Island. The unit is beautifully decorated. We especially appreciated the ever so comfortable Stressless recliners in the living room. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials needed to prepare all your meals. Unit comes with beach chairs, buggy, umbrella’s, plenty of towels, beach toys and a cooler to round out all your needs to make your stay complete. Just be prepared for the ¼ mile walk to the water’s edge where there is an abundance of very small silver dollars and gorgeous shells. We were fortunate to see dolphin every day. We will definitely be renting this unit again. Thank you Kathy and Monte for letting us stay in your lovely condo.

My husband and I unfortunately stayed in this condo for 3 weeks in February. The only item in the description that is stunning are the views of Tigertail Beach. This unit has been neglected by the owner, the kitchen was filthy, grease drips on the microwave door and yellow grease on the ceiling and wall above the range and microwave. There were multiple dishes in the kitchen that were put away dirty, even a coffee cup that still had dried coffee in it. Wanted to use the blender but that had dried food all over it along with mold. There is a lot of clutter empty containers of various items that I threw out. The light switch in the master bathroom was so filthy with built up dirt and dust that I did not even want to touch it. Went and bought a toothbrush and took the face plate off and gave it a good cleaning. It’s the only item that is actually clean now in this unit. To just collect rental fees and not maintain the unit is extremely disappointing to those who rent in good faith that it will be clean upon arrival. This owner does not take pride in ownership, just collects rent and I guess expects renters to clean the filth because cleaning staff, whoever they are does not do it either. I would download pictures to state my case but do not see a way of doing that.

Tigertail Beach with stunning views.

Comfortable condo with stunning sunset view. Property was updated and had everything we needed including really good WiFi for working remotely. Highly recommend!

Spring break 2021

Beautiful views from this unit! The kitchen and bathrooms were decently updated. The walk to the beach was quite far, but we burned more calories doing it. It was well worth it being on the corner with the spectacular view of Tigertail Beach.

Perfect location !!!

Loved watching the sunset from the wraparound balcony. There was abundant light from the many windows in the condo. My family loved walking to Doreen's for breakfast and to Tiger-tail beach.
