You have driveway access, a private stairway to the house and access to the private outdoor area/deck and Hot tub.

Navigating the neighborhood is a breeze from MoonShadow. Feel free to explore on foot – Bear Mountain Ski Resort, the golf course, and the Alpine Zoo are all within easy walking distance. Should you prefer to drive, ample parking is available in the driveway and garage, ensuring your convenience throughout your stay. Whether you're headed to the nearby Village, Big Bear Lake, or Snow Summit, you'll find that getting around is stress-free and straightforward. Experience the freedom to explore and make the most of your Big Bear getaway.
Check-in: 4 PM to 10 PM (if you need to come later please let us know)
Checkout: 11 AM ($100 for late checkout not approved in advance)

We have a maximum of 8 guests total at all times. This is enforced by the county’s short term rental ordinance. We cannot allow any extra people on the property during your stay.

Absolutely NO parties or events. This is a quiet, residential neighborhood. If you're looking for a party house, you've come to the wrong place.

NO ANIMALS: Owners have severe allergies. Exterior of property is monitored by cameras that record visual and audio. Violators will be evicted without refund. Guests may be charged a cleaning fee pending.

No beverages, food, or other substances in the hot tub. If a drain and refill is required, guests will be charged $75.

ALL trash must be removed from the cabin. There are two free Clean Bear dump sites located in Big Bear. $25 fee for each bag of trash left on the property.
Please take all trash with you to the trash drop off at 41970 Garstin Dr, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. It is free and on your way out of town.

NO smoking on the property. If we find evidence of smoking there is a $250 cleaning fee that will be assessed to remove odor or stains.
No illegal activities.

Snow gear must be left outside the cabin on the deck or in the mudroom by the laundry.

Please be respectful of our neighbors and keep noise down after 9 PM.
Please tidy up after yourself. The cleaning fee doesn't cover huge messes or stains.

If anything breaks, let us know right away and we can make arrangements for repair or replacement. We understand that accidents happen.

Please wash and put away all dishes before checkout. $50 fee for leaving unwashed dishes.

Please do not rearrange the furniture. 10$ fee for each piece of furniture that must be moved back.

BBQ: The indoor BBQ is for use of guests of the cabin and not for inviting others. This would be considered a party. It is a gas BBQ connected to the fireplace, please be sure to turn off the gas when finished using it. You MUST flip the light and fan switch when using the BBQ or the smoke will fill the house and smoke alarms will go off.

PARKING: We allow guests to bring a total of four vehicles per booking. If you need to bring more cars please contact us and we will try to accommodate you. Please park your vehicle on the driveway or in the two car lower garage at the middle of the driveway. Be very careful entering the driveway and stay closer to the retaining wall to avoid the steeper angle along the street. Try to park close to the garage door so that it will be flat for you and will not block the driveway. Be very careful of ice on the driveway when it is snowy out. Depending on your vehicle you may require chains when it is icy. Most ideal way to park_ fit two cars inside the lower garage and then park two cars side by side outside the lower garage on the flat area.

Violations may result in fines and/or eviction without refund.
