A few paces from the beach, your condo is also within walking distance to Coconut Marketplace. You’ll love the easy access to the entire island from the desirable East Coast location!

Located in the oceanfront Niihau Building, your top-floor corner unit features unobstructed ocean views. Enjoy morning coffee and the sound of the waves on your breezy private lanai. Whip up beach snacks in the kitchenette - with a sink, microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. Extras include AC, high-speed WiFi, TV, and beach towels.

THINGS TO KNOW
This vacation rental is not equipped with a washer/dryer. However, towel exchanges are offered for guests every Monday and Thursday.
This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii LLC.
Third-floor unit, no elevator.
Spalling repair will begin on June 23rd, and expected to be completed by August 18th. Construction on the railings, walkways, and stairs will take place between 9:00 am, and 5:00 pm.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 3.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Fabulous stay!

This was our second time staying in this unit and we already booked for next year. The location is fantastic and centrally located to both ends of the island. The view is amazing, the pool and hot tub are clean and refreshing, and the grounds are well maintained and beautiful. The Coconut Market Place is next to the Islander and there are a few great restaurants on the property.

Location, Location, Location

The condo is a simple “hotel room” style studio, but it was perfect for us. And the Location was amazing! Both the beachfront location (with amazing ocean views and listening to the waves from the lanai!), and also the location in Kapaa and right behind the Coconut Marketplace - it was fantastic! I would recommend this unit to anyone who wants a hotel style condo with a truly great location!

Clean and cute and right on the beach. Easy walking distance to the coconut market and the lava lava lounge and restaurant. Loved our stay

A little slice of paradise

Wonderful location - steps from the beach, excellent view. Appreciated the included parking pass. Would recommend that the listing also note that the property also has 2 portable coolers and 2 beach chairs; if it's listed, I missed it, and rented it from a local shop

Great location!

Clean room with comfy beds and pillows. The highlight, of course, is the ocean view from the balcony. Impressive sunrises made our early wake ups worth it. Highly recommend!

Perfect Holiday!

The condo at the Aston Islander on the Beach is beautiful. When we arrived, the air conditioning kept it pleasantly cool. Everything is very clean; there are glasses, cups, and plates for four people, plenty of towels in all sizes, and even beach towels. The balcony with its high chairs and high table is especially nice, offering a beautiful view of the ocean. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is well-equipped (soap, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer). Cleaning supplies for the kitchen and bathroom, as well as toilet paper and paper towels, are also provided. Parking Lot is always available and a few steps away is the Marketplace with shops and restaurants. Perfect place for perfect holidays!

Good value

Nice unit and view. The beach is not for swimming due to rocks and currents but nice to look at. Friendly staff. The only drawback are the roosters crow all the time but then they are all over the island

Most amazing scenery

Our stay at Kapa'a Sands was so perfect. It was exactly what I imagined a true vacation should be. Hearing the waves every night and seeing the beautiful scenery was so relaxing. The home was in perfect condition, and appeared exactly as shown. Me and my fiance were able to truly relax and enjoy our stay in Kauai. We could not be happier with our stay here. If we ever go back, I will look to stay here. Just amazing.

Great ocean front studio in central location

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The ocean is literally 50 feet away with loungers on the beach for guests. Great sunrise views from the lanai. The building this unit is in is a 30 second walk to the pool, hot tub and pool bar. The property is beautifully landscaped and lush. Be prepared for substantial wind and wave noise on the lanai being that close to the water though. Surprisingly the pool area was very sheltered if that is more your thing.

Perfectly located beach home

We loved this spot and each time we left to adventure we couldn't wait to return to our little home. Perfect for two and stocked with everything we could need to enjoy the wonderful semi private beach just seconds away from our studio. Warm blue waters, beautiful tropical fish and sea turtles! Bring goggles for snorkeling in the cove! Seriously the best spot we found on Kauai in October for daily swimming. The only issue we had was that we are light sleepers and the constant roaring ocean waves and roosters had a tendency to keep us from deep sleep. With that said, Kapaa Sands was a wonderful spot and we highly recommend!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Central location made it easy to go on excursions in any direction! Great little bakery, half a block away, had home made malasadas on certain days of the week! The #9 Studio was very clean, lots of linens and basic necessities! The VIEW was unbelievable, right on the ocean! The little beach was perfect; sandy enough to sit and relax and then cool off in tide pool! We saw fishermen, surfers and even whales! No AC but ocean breeze was great; we even had to shut windows one morning because it was too cool!

Like a second honeymoon in paradise

We stayed to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The property location is ideal, as we visited every shore and attraction on the island and had an easy time navigating from here to wherever we needed to be. There is a 24 hour Safeway nearby, which is great for late night needs, as almost slavery other retailer closes early. It should be noted that there is Road construction in the area that runs all night and causes lots of noise and congestion, but that should be temporary. The unit itself has everything needed for a couple to enjoy a short or long term stay. I know the islands are casual dress, but it may be time to replace the iron and ironing board. It was such a joy to wake up to the sunrise every morning through the wide open sliding glass doors!

Perfekter Urlaub!

Das Condo im Aston Islander on the Beach ist wunderschön. Als wir angekommen sind, war es durch die Klimaanlage angenehm heruntergekühlt. Alles ist sehr sauber, es gibt Gläser, Tassen und Teller für vier Personen, viele Handtücher in alles Größen und auch Strandtücher. Besonders schön ist der Balkon mit den Hochstühlen und dem hohen Tisch, so kann man sehr schön auf das Meer gucken. Das Bett ist bequem, das Badezimmer gut ausgestattet (Seife, Shampoo, Conditioner, Fön). Reinigungsmittel für Küche und Bad sowie Toilettenpapier und Küchenpapier gibt es auch.Es gibt immer einen Parkplatz!Nur wenige Schritte entfernt ist das Marketplace mit Shops und Restaurant.Ein perfekter Ort für perfekte Urlaubstage!

First condo of our trip

This condo worked out perfectly for our family of three. It was very clean, well stocked, and most of all had a great view of the ocean! We found it to be centrally located for the activities we had planned. The resort grounds and pool area are beautifully landscaped with many different types of plants and flowers. This has definitely set the bar high for the other places we stay on the other islands of our Hawaii trip.

Exactly what we were looking for. To be able to walk over to Lava Lava and have the beach 50 feet away is invaluable. We will be back.

Perfect for our stay

This charming studio met our needs quite nicely. It is a walk up...so if you struggle with stairs keep looking! Plentiful linens provided so we did not need to take advantage of the towel exchange. There is a small farmer's market a couple of days a week in the parking lot of the Coconut marketplace, and the central location made it an easy drive to other parts of the island. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
