The condo was wonderful. We spent our nights and mornings on the lanai listening to the ocean. The house can get a little hot but we let the ocean breeze flow through the house which helped, it really didn't bother us at all. The air conditioning unit worked wonderful in the bedroom, we had no issues keeping cool. The unit was newly remodeled and beautiful. Plenty of parking onsite. We have zero complaints about our stay, we would stay there again.

Beautiful Condo!

We have stayed at a different condo at this location but this unit is by far my favorite! Had everything we needed, was clean, and the view is completely unbeatable. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Wonderful Condo

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was right next to the ocean. The condo was well supplied with everything you would need. The location was great and close to several restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed the brewery Napali which was right across the road. We would definitely stay here again.

Would have stayed forever!

Our stay here was everything we wanted and more for our honeymoon. The condo was very clean, had plenty of amenities (including beach chairs, towels, lots of kitchen items to cook at home), and is in such a great location. I would definitely come back!

Great place to stay during vacation

My wife and I both enjoyed staying here. It had such a beautiful view of the beach and the neighbors were friendly. It also has easy access to the street and is close to a marketplace and some restaurants you can walk to. The host did a great job making us feel welcome and we highly recommend this to whoever would like an affordable cozy place to stay during their vacation. You will not regret it!

Great location with excellent views!

The place was great with great views! Shayne was very helpful& easy to contact, as well as the property manager. The condo was perfect size for my family of 4! I would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend Shayne's condo to family and friends! Mahalo!

Amazing

Wailua is a perfect starting point for every place to see on Kauai. We loved the great balcony and had our meals there with an amazing view of the ocean. The kitchen has a perfect size and everything was there we needed. The pool is great and we could also go out for a run at the ocean. We really recommend this apartment.

Shayne’s place was as described. Fully stocked kitchen. View is beautiful. It was great having the washer and dryer. Also, the 2 beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler were also a big plus!! Check-in is was easy. Place is centrally located on the island, allowing us to explore the island easily.

Wonderful condo on the beach

Shayne’s condo was very comfortable. We were steps from the beach. Beautiful sunrises from the lanai. Much appreciated the washer dryer in our unit. Location is wonderful for access to supermarkets and farmers market so could prepare our meals with fresh produce. Also appreciated the dresser space so we did not have to live out of suitcases for the week.

Perfect Location

This property is in top notch shape with an excellent resident manager. We were able to cook most of our meals (from locally purchased food) in the well appointed kitchen. Because it is about halfway from both the south and north coasts, it was perfect for making half-day and full-day trips both directions. Our contact Shayne Jacobs had excellent recommendations for where to buy food, dine, and recreate. He was available by phone, text and email just as soon as we needed him. We loved being right on the beach and listening to the waves.

Absolutely wonderful!

This is an absolutely wonderful condo with a great location! The view is fantastic and everything is exactly as presented on the site. You will not be disappointed! The condo is clean, well furnished, and even includes a cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels for your days at the beach. The owner, Shayne, is extremely helpful in providing information and has thought of everything. We could not have asked for more and recommend him and the condo without reservation.

Perfect first anniversary!

My wife and spent a week in this condo for our one year anniversary and we could not ask for a better place! As soon as we walked in we saw the amazing view from the lanai. We spent many hours out there eating, drinking and playing rummikub. It over looks the bay and you can hear the waves crashing all day long. As for the rest of the condo it was great as well! The living room has a comfy sofa and chair and a huge LCD tv that we didn't use too much. The kitchen was really well equipped, only thing I could not find was measuring cups, but it even had an espresso machine! The bathroom and bedroom were great and the bed was comfy. Each night we slept really well. Some people mentioned you could hear the cars on the street, but we didn't find that at all, it was very quiet! The complex where the condo is located is really well maintained. The grills were great, made some nice Kauai beef steaks and we took advantage of the pool after a day of sightseeing! The complex is centrally located, 10 min to the airport, 3-5 min to supermarkets, 5-15 min to many, many great restaurants, and also convenient to the northern and southern side of the island. We could not have asked for a better place to spend our first anniversary. After Kauai we spent 5 days in Maui, but we both agreed we would have liked to spend that time back in Kauai and in this condo!

This is a well-appointed condo, with a fabulous view of the bay from the lanai. Shayne sent us a welcome email with helpful information about the condo, the pool, the neighborhood and things to do, see and where to dine and shop. All we needed was food for our stay. Every other need was met and well thought out by our host. Lovely to just come in and feel right at home!

The condo was perfect for us. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Passion Bakery across the street is a must if you are staying in this condo. Also Lava Lava which is also walking distance was a fun place to hang out for cocktails. We didn’t eat but the food looked very good. The bed was very comfortable and the room air conditioner in the bedroom for at night was awesome. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Being midway between the north (Hanalei) and south (Poipu) shores of Kauai makes this location the perfect stepping-off point for all of the tourist attractions on the island. Few properties on Kauai provide the unobstructed, and private, ocean view that this unit provides - and certainly not in this price range!

The town of Wailua, and nearby Kapaa, provide visitors with all the conveniences you may need, many of which are within walking distance of the Wailua Bay View Apartments.
