The room was very hot, the A/C wasn’t working at all and they could’ve comped another room for me if they knew the A/C wasn’t working. I mean I paid 300 for the room and the communication to check in was hectic. I hope they fix the A/C problem but all in all the place is very peaceful and relaxing but just needed a running cold A/C during a hot Summer!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry the air conditioning issue affected your comfort during your stay. Our team did our best to communicate throughout the situation and assist with troubleshooting as soon as we were made aware of the problem. Unfortunately, mechanical issues can occur unexpectedly, and the A/C was not known to be non-operational prior to your arrival. We also want to clarify that vacation rentals are individually owned residences, so we cannot simply move or “comp” a guest into another privately owned unit as a hotel might be able to do. Any alternative accommodation is subject to availability, owner authorization, and the circumstances at the time. We appreciate your acknowledgment that the property itself was peaceful and relaxing, and we regret that the unexpected A/C issue detracted from your experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and comfortable. The lanai was fabulous and we spent much of our condo time taking in the sights and sounds from there. This unit has an elevator but will still require a half flight of stairs to access.
