We loved our visit to the Cape this year, and our stay in Drew's home was delightful. The home is comfortable, clean and in a fantastic location. The walk to the beach is short, and the beach in this area is gorgeous white sand and picture perfect.The owner, Drew, is responsive and kind. Any issues that came up were dealt with quickly. Communication was excellent. We felt at home, and loved that we could sleep in comfy beds and cook in a great kitchen. (A note - this is probably a given when looking at pics of this home - but if someone considering this place has difficulty with stairs, this would not be an ideal place for you. Otherwise, this is an excellent choice!)Thanks for an excellent stay, Drew! We will be in touch when coming back to the area!

Booked the trip to take our dog to the beach. Very easy to get to and from the beach. Place had everything we needed. Had to be careful on the decks as they are worn down, but otherwise would stay there again.

Clean. Quiet. Spacious.

We enjoyed our stay! This was our spring break, and we don't like busy and crowded. Being on the Cape gets you away from all that. The unit is convenient to the beach and both pools (one which is heated). This biggest hit for the kiddos was the ponds where they did lots of fishing and caught some small fish and catfish. One juvenile gator spotting and tons of turtles (they loved the tops we cut off of some strawberries). They actually spent more time fishing than at the beach! Go figure. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We found some games and pickleball equipment to use at the courts as well as beach chairs, beach cart, umbrella, and a paddleboard. We did not go without all things needed!The beds were comfortable, so much so that we are now in the market for new mattresses. Cleanliness was excellent.Things to do.... Super convenient to the Peninsula Park which we visited several times and explored the tidal pools. We found hermit crabs, horseshoe crabs, starfish, and sea urchins. We went to the Forgotten Coast Sea Turtle Center which was free (donations appreciated). The staff was wonderful and truly love what they do. Very educational. We ate in most nights but had one good seafood outing at the Indian Pass Raw Bar at the recommendation of the staff at the turtle center. Very good!Be prepared for stairs. Not a big deal for most, but we had grandparents, and it got a little tough on the old folks. An excellent stay and would highly recommend!!!

Minnesotan review

Had a great month at your Barrier Dunes home. The home is tastefully and comfortably decorated. Comfortable beds. Place is well equipped. Love the complex. Quiet, safe, very family friendly, very dog friendly. The beach in front is stunning, can walk for literally miles. Owner was very accessible. We had a few unavoidable issues and he did everything he could to resolve them in a timely fashion. Would definitely return in the future.

This is a great townhouse so close to the beach. Easy walking distance to several beach access points. Well kept and the views from the 3rd and 4th floor bedrooms are great! Good communication from the owner.

Great unit in Barrier Dunes!

This is easily one of our favorite units in Barrier Dunes. Great location in the community, very spacious, and stocked with just about everything you might need - crock pot and air fryer, extra fan in the master, baby gates (didn't travel with a child but we did have our fur babies and these were very helpful in keeping them out of spaces we didn't want them to go) as well as super fast and reliable internet. We spent two weeks here working without a blip. Owner is very responsive. We'll definitely check availability for this unit when booking next time!

Great location and great place to stay. Kitchen had all the pots and pans and dishes we needed. Furniture and beds were comfy. The Clubhouse pool and beach are a short walk away

Easy, quick walk to the beach. Clean property. Little tight on parking but bonus parking lot just a few feet down the road. We would stay there again.

Great spot

We really enjoyed staying on Cape San Blas. Unfortunately we were chased out of there by Hurricane Helene, but we were very happy with the place. I wanted to highlight quickly how well Drew communicated with me during the stay to solve the impending problem of the Hurricane and evacuations. He always responded within an hour to any question we had, and he worked with us to get us refunded for the nights we did not use. I felt like he was going to do the right thing financially as well as whatever was best for the safety and security of my family. Having a great host can sometimes make or break the stay, and I thought Drew was accommodating and helpful throughout the trip.

Last Summer Hoorah!

This property was clean and perfectly set up for a family with five boys. We all had such a great time in the pool and on the beach. Double red flags kept us out of the gulf but we had plenty of enjoyment in the pool. We traveled light, so we appreciated the Kurtis and coffee! Would definitely recommend this property!

Great property and location

We had a fantastic stay! The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, which really made the difference. The property itself was even bigger than the pictures and perfect for our family of six. The location was unbeatable – just a short walk to the beach, pool, and tennis courts. Plus, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Cape San Blas has a spotty cell/internet service which helped us disconnect from the world and was a blessing

It's bigger than it looks

I have stayed in and around barrier dunes over the last 20 years. This property was one of the better put together spaces. Main floor seating accommodated group of 8. Plenty of showers and TV's. Close to the beach and the pond directly in the backyard entertained the kids daily with turtles. Especially loved the washer and dryer on the main floor when most have it on the second. Didn't think we would care about the free paddle board but the kids loved it and wanted it taken out every day, acted as a large boogie board. Host was quick to respond to any messages. There is an air fryer, which is a must with kids! There were plenty of pot and pan variation for all cooking. Refrigerator ice machine worked great. Coffee is a combo pot and pod. Oh, and the property isn't covered with a million decorative trinkets you fear someone m I get frustrated when people rate things based on preference and not the space. The space is a 5 star. Preference is a 4.2 star for me. Top floor doesn't have a room door but this is common for all units there. Just little less privacy because of it. Dishwasher and Dryer take some time to get used to. The bed is memory foam that my wife did not like. Shower heads are generic and can feel like you can only washing one body part at a time. A bit of an exaggeration but I'm a tall guy. Kitchen faucet pressure/no sprayer made it take longer to clean dishes. I would rent here again

CSB 2024

We had a wonderful time at CSB. The townhouse is much bigger in person than it is in the pictures! It was VERY clean and well stocked. Drew, the host, was great. He was super responsive and very accommodating. Beds were comfortable and a very short walk to the beach/pool. Kids loved feeding the turtles every morning too in the pond that is right off the back deck. I will save this place to stay at again.

Comfortable and spacious

With 3 large bedrooms each with their own bath and and half bath on the main, the place was spacious and comfortable. Good kitchen, well equipped. Love the location next to the state park.

Beautiful Barrier Dunes

The house was beautiful and so conveniently located! We all (especially the kids) enjoyed watching the many turtles in the pond below the decks. It was a very short walk to the Gulf side pool and then the beach boardwalk just beyond the pool. We really appreciated all the beach gear available to us. Lots of really nice conveniences as well like the handsoaps in every bathroom and the body wash and shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the showers. The hosts were great and very communicative. We couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable stay! The kids were sad to leave and asked if we could come back next year.

Spring Weekend Beach Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in cape San blas! The beaches were gorgeous! Pools were great! Playground was nice! Very convenient to stay park boat ramp. Condo was extremely clean and hosts were easy to get in touch with.

Great Location

Drew's place was perfectly situated near the beach and pool which made for easy access. The house was very clean and provided beach needs, which was much appreciated. There could be some improvements made from wear and tear (2 of the sliding doors didnt lock, screens were knocked out, kitchen utensils were broken) but that's easily resolved. Would definitely come back to this location on CSB.

One of the nicest places we've stayed

We've stayed in at least a half dozen Barrier Dunes units and this one was the best! It was so clean and Andrew is so attentive (checked in on us and replied super fast!). Would highly recommend this 5-Star rental!

Weekend getaway

This is the second time staying at this property and it was just as satisfying this time as before. It is spacious and clean with modern appliances and great views. Drew is a great host, thinks of everything, and has a seamless process. We will definitely return!!

We have a personal relationship with our cleaners and ensure they earn a living wage. We care about your experience and want to make sure you have as stress free a vacation as possible. The house is fully stocked including beach chairs, floats, and toys. We are parents, we understand how much it takes to travel with kids. We put a Pack in Play in the house so you don't have to travel with one. We also put baby gates in the house so that if you have small children you can put up the gates so you don't have to worry about them climbing the stairs.
