Extremely impressed but with concern

We really enjoyed the stay. The staff was great and the facility was great with constant cleaning and maintenance. However the owner of the building arrived on site and was staying in one of the units. While we were relaxing on the chairs near the beach, we heard the owner berating an employee(s) over the intercom system. There were several employees working around the building with several speakers around the building, for all to hear. Our chairs were approximately 50' from the building and this berating went on for several minutes. We understand that all employees can make mistakes and need feed back. This is not the way to do it nor did we want to hear it. We approached another guest who stated this type of behavior has happened before and the owner will later apologize to the employee. I own a business and employ many people. I also own property managed through VRBO in the U.S. I hope an employee or guest would make me aware of a mistake or poor judgement on my part before i embarrassed myself, employees or guests. I think your staff treated us very very well on your behalf. I hope you learn to treat them with more respect on the behalf of these staff members and future guests.

Nos encantó quedarnos en esta villa. Es muy bonita, elegante y moderna. Cuenta con todo los utensilios para cocinar. Los anfitriones del lugar nos atendieron de buena forma y súper amables. Totalmente recomendados y definitivamente estaremos volviendo.

Om værten

Vært: Marshall Potts

Værtens profilbillede
At Curación Beach Resort, we redefine what it means to relax. Surrounded by the pristine beauty of Roatán, our resort combines world-class luxury with authentic island charm, creating the perfect setting for your escape. Whether you’re here to unwind or explore, every moment promises to be memorable.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

We are a small boutique resort locally owned and operated, with a focus on community, wellness, environment and humanitarianism. We believe in the golden rule and loving your neighbor. Our goal is to create a sanctuary of friendship and kindness where you can cast the stress of the world away and enjoy life, mother earth and fellowship with others.

We believe honesty is the best policy and as a newly opening boutique resort, we will be continually working on our property as we continue to grow.

Come see what a magical place, this Island of Roatan is all about and immerse yourself in it's culture and beauty.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

The island of Roatan is the largest of the archipelago of the Bay Islands, and is part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. The island, 45 kilometers long, is geographically formed by hills covered with lush jungle vegetation, and is located 30 miles from the Honduran coast. It has an abundance of natural wealth and rich cultural history with the presence of the Garifuna, Mayas, Payas and the Spanish and English occupation influence.

Our private beach resort is located 10 minutes from the airport, you cannot beat the sandy beaches, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking or nature walking trails and paths throughout the Colonia Brick Bay community. This secluded neighborhood offers some peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of the more commercialized parts of the island and offers a snapshot of Roatan before it became a tourist destination.

We can ensure that a rental car will be ready for you at the resort if requested, but if driving around isn't for you, we can also arrange for a driver to take you to your destinations for a small fee. Taxis are also available throughout the island.

We are located a short 10 minute (5.9km) car ride from Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport in Coxen Hole and 5 (2.5km) minutes from the Mahogany Bay Cruise Terminal.
