The island of Roatan is the largest of the archipelago of the Bay Islands, and is part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. The island, 45 kilometers long, is geographically formed by hills covered with lush jungle vegetation, and is located 30 miles from the Honduran coast. It has an abundance of natural wealth and rich cultural history with the presence of the Garifuna, Mayas, Payas and the Spanish and English occupation influence.
Our private beach resort is located 10 minutes from the airport, you cannot beat the sandy beaches, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking or nature walking trails and paths throughout the Colonia Brick Bay community. This secluded neighborhood offers some peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of the more commercialized parts of the island and offers a snapshot of Roatan before it became a tourist destination.
We can ensure that a rental car will be ready for you at the resort if requested, but if driving around isn't for you, we can also arrange for a driver to take you to your destinations for a small fee. Taxis are also available throughout the island.
We are located a short 10 minute (5.9km) car ride from Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport in Coxen Hole and 5 (2.5km) minutes from the Mahogany Bay Cruise Terminal.
