Stunning hilltop villa with private pool.
Welcome to our beautiful villa, situated in the hilltop village of Opio. Surrounded by olive and cypress trees, exotic plants and breathtaking views of the valley and Opio golf course. The house overlooks the terraced gardens and pool.
It really is an oasis of peace and delight.
This secluded villa also has a lower meadow where guests can appreciate the openness of the countryside in complete calm with flowers blooming year round.
Yet the property is only a 5 mins walk to Opio village centre!
We are committed to ensuring that you have a memorable stay with us.
The house is on 2 levels and has 3 double bedrooms each with its own bathroom (the two kingsize bedrooms have en-suites). The master kingsize bedroom with ensuite is on the upper level, the other 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room and kitchen are on the ground floor level.
There is a front garden with a large garden table and chairs and two BBQs (a traditional wood burning brick barbecue and a gas fired one) and a terrace with teak dining table and chairs overlooking the property grounds down to the pool and also overlooking the valley all the way down to the Opio golf course and beyond.
The pool is 10 x 4.5 metres with teak sun loungers and the garden is over 3000 square metres. There are 2 parking spaces reserved for guests.
We also have 2 paddle boards that our guests can use, one is a hard board the other is an inflatable board that can also be used with a seat as a canoe.
Guests have exclusive access and use of the house, gardens and pool area.
At times we (the owners) can be in the apartment on the garden floor level (Rez de jardin). The apartment has its own private patio area and is located on the lower north-east side of the property. It's all out of view.
As Guests, you can chose the level of interaction that you'd like to have with us, so please don't hesitate to ask!
You will still be able to contact us anytime for help/advice.
The pool and garden maintenance takes place once or twice a week (depending on the weather, etc.) we will liaise with you to ensure this work takes place on days and at times convenient for you.
We are also happy to provide conciergerie services with add-ons (ranging from a mid-week clean, baby sitting, paddle board lessons or pick-up and drop-off to airport and more). These services are charged separately.
Nice airport and the beautiful beaches and shops of Cannes/Antibes/Juan les Pins are less than 30 minutes away by car.
Of course you don't need to go to the beach to sunbathe as there are plenty of beautiful teak sun loungers (6) available at the house, pool side.
The Carrefour supermarket and shopping centre are 15 minute walk from the house (800 meters to be precise).
In the Opio area there are many restaurants the closest being less than 3 minutes drive from the house (Les Géraniums, just past the Carrefour supermarket).
You can hike from the house up the hill to the village of Châteauneuf de Grasse (1.2 Km) using the hiking trail.
Beautiful day trips can be made to Monte Carlo, Menton, Eze, Villefranche, Gourdon, the perfume factories in Grasse, destinations that are between 20 minutes and 50 minutes away by car.
Two weeks before you arrive, we will send you a copy of the house briefing, that contains detailed explanation of the property, such as how to work the electrical appliances, the wifi, etc. These details will also be explained to you face to face when you check-in.
We offer our guests a free "welcome shop", so that when you arrive you don't have to worry about preparing dinner or breakfast the next morning.
We are happy to include in our "welcome shop" any special items you may require, such as vegetarian options, particular types of "non-dairy milk", etc.
The property is quite secluded at the end of a "cul-de-sac" overlooking the Opio valley and golf course. There are practically no other properties overlooking the villa, so there is privacy, calm and beautiful views all around.

As you have seen from the photos of the property, attention to detail and a 'Scandinavian' style for the interiors play an important part in and around the house.
The private pool is totally private and so are the front garden and the terrace overlooking the valley. If you are looking for relax, calm, elegance and style, this is definitely the place for you.
