Welcome to Castle Reef 312 a two-bedroom, two-bathroom getaway that is ideal for a family of six as it is spacious and within steps of the non-driving shore. Those who love to cook will find themselves drawn to the remodeled kitchen that has everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. There's plenty of space for your group to relax as it holds a leather couch, loveseat, and armchair to watch your favorite shows on the Smart TV equipped with cable and streaming service apps. You will find a king bed in the primary bedroom and a queen bed, and the living room has a sleeper sofa. Enjoy drinking your morning coffee on your balcony and watching the sunrise. Castle Reef Comfort

All of the beautiful one and two-bedroom condos at Castle Reef are fully furnished and include spacious living and dining areas, well-stocked kitchens, and private balconies. At only five stories, every condo is easily accessed. On the outside, you'll enjoy a heated pool, a kiddie pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, a recreation room, two barbecue gas grills, free complex WIFI, and open parking. The expansive beach deck offers private access to one of the most peaceful areas in New Smyrna Beach. The complex was built in 1979 and has 165 units. If golfing is your sport, you'll find that Castle Reef is perfectly situated just minutes from five golf courses. Many restaurants, stores, and shops are located within walking distance of Castle Reef.

Or choose to stay closer to the shore for excellent flats fishing in Mosquito Lagoon, famous for its redfish. Though New Smyrna is a small historic town, the city offers a wide selection of shopping, dining, and cultural experiences for both its residents and guests. I wish that there would have been a combo lock for the door instead of a key. Easier for occupants. Also maybe a few more ice cube trays because ice is a myst at the beach. A few more towels would be nice also. Oh and maybe a couple of trash bags. 1 is so cheap.

Nice stay

Property was clean. Needs to be updated. Very limited in papergoods... didn't even have trashbags, only a couple of hot pads, no extra pillows.The guest bedroom closet was very well stocked for the beach and even had an umbrella stroller and a booster highchair seat.The guest bedroom is on the streetside, but the traffic sound didn't bother us. We enjoyed our stay.

Fun getaway

We had a great time. The fridge was on the smaller side and the hairdryer was broken but other than that we had everything we needed and the property manager was easy to work with and responsive to our needs.

New Smyrna Beach weekend

We recently stayed in New Smyrna Beach for our first time. Our unit was in the Coral Reef condos and everything was wonderful. The condo was just as shown, the pool area was fabulous with lots of pool chairs and was very clean The washer & dryers were on every floor which was very convenient. I would highly recommend this unit and this area to anyone wanting a beach vacation.

Great Location

Loved the location, even though the building is older the property is very well kept up. The condo itself, needs some TLC read another review about the refrigerator was missing shelves. Was remodeled recently, but couches very old, rugs look very worn. Stain in one of the blankets, and a note on fridge about being charged $20 if cleaning crew does more the 2 loads of laundry… 2bedroom 2bath condo safe to say with sheets, towels, blankets that’s more then 2 loads.

Nice condo in quiet part of beach - great value

The condominiums were in good shape and did not appear impacted from Hurricane Ian. It's a mixture of owners and renters and the condo we rented was exactly as advertised online, a great value for the size and amenities. We enjoyed walking across the street for breakfast daily - 2 great options, and the Dollar General is more like a grocery plus a mini Target all in one, very convenient. It's nice to relax on the part of the beach where cars are not allowed. The vibe was laid back and pretty quiet with the exception of construction in a condo here and there, which is unavoidable to know about in advance since they are all individually owned. Mostly everything was great not much negative to report, really perfect for a family of 4 or smaller. Everything we needed was there in terms of dishes, towels, etc. I will say the closets were completely full of owner items so it was very difficult to hang anything or to find room. The dressers were empty so we had to fold things that would have normally been for the closets. A bit of a double edge sword because the smaller bedroom closet was full of helpful things for the beach (there's just no storage). The fridge needs some TLC a shelf was missing and the bottom shelf was falling apart. We made it work just fine. The cookware has seen better days and we are a little weirded out about coating that's coming off with related chemicals so that could use a freshening up all around (pots and pans) - we cooked all 6 nights so we noticed more than others probably would. The dishes were nice, lots of cups, coffee pot, toaster and blender all worked great. There was no laundry basket which made that tough because laundry is not in the unit, you have to pay for it and carry your items down the hall. There are 2 washers and dryers and they were often in use so that made it a little tricky, we ended up doing laundry late at night as the cleaners of all checkouts are also using the same items and there isn't enough to go around. There is a laundry mat across the street if you get desperate. The tennis court was a requirement for us as we traveled with our daughter who plays in college and needed to hit during our stay. The court was cracked in many places and while safe for pickleball, it was not ok for any serious level of play for tennis. Overall we had a great stay and again it was a great value. We only mention these items to help the owners sharpen things up a bit. Great week, nice location.
