Less pleasant: we had a roach problem, including finding them on the stovetop and in the bed, which was pretty gross even though we know it’s common in tropical climates. We contacted property management, who sent someone to set traps — but during that visit, our son’s brand-new Olukai slides went missing from the entryway. We reported it, but management was unresponsive and initially said our explanation wasn’t clear. After we clarified that the slides disappeared the same day traps were set (while we were out for the day at another beach), we never heard back.Overall, we still enjoyed our trip, but I wouldn’t recommend this condo to anyone hoping to actually use the patio or beach below — the wind makes that unlikely. The roach issue needs a better long-term solution, and I’d think twice about a management company that doesn’t take a theft report seriously.

We are sorry that these issues affected your stay. When you reported the roach activity, our team responded the same day and installed traps in the locations you approved. We understand, however, how upsetting it was to encounter pests inside the condominium. We also took your report regarding your son’s missing slides seriously. Our initial confusion resulted from the timing described, since our records showed that the maintenance visit occurred several days before the shoes were reported missing. Once you clarified that you believed the slides disappeared following that visit, our manager attempted to contact you. We have no information establishing that a team member removed the shoes, but we should have followed up with you again and formally closed the loop. We apologize that this did not occur. We appreciate your feedback and are addressing both the pest concerns at the property and our internal follow-through when a guest reports a missing personal item.

Great location, incredible access

This was a wonderful place with an incredible location. The ground floor access was fantastic. Place is a little tired but it is accurately represented in the listing. Management company was great and very responsive. Fully stocked…had everything we needed and more.

Happily the fabulous view made up for the otherwise tired interiors with dilapidated beds. Further, the unit above us had unsecured patio table and chairs which mad for a continual unpleasant knocking-The Parrish Collection management did a reasonably good job of being in communication with us -so that was a plus -ON-LINE PIX DON'T TELL THE WHOLE STORY.

We’re not certain how they could be both secured and still used easily, but we can certainly suggest adding padding to the chair legs to the management company of that property. Phenomenal

We had the best stay at 20G2. This property location is amazing. We had an awesome Christmas! The property management was so great. They responded so quickly it stunned us!! They cleaned half way through our stay as well. The view is unmatched. We watched whales all day right from our patio seats! The condo itself has so much room and views from every room. I can’t say e ouch about the location and condo. AMAZING!! Thank you!

Beautiful Place with a Great View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to the Kapalua and staying at the Bay Villas for over 20 years. This villa has the best location on the property. The villa was clean and had a good supply of beach accessories. I was a little disappointed with the twin beds in the second bedroom which seemed to have plastic mattress pads.Our grown kids found sleeping on the couch more comfortable.Enjoyed he full size washer and dryer. But all in all it was a fabulous vacation

We are so please to hear our guest and her family enjoyed their stay! We appreciate the kind words and look forward to her return next year! Just want to clarify one comment for our future guests: The mattresses are covered in a breathable hypoallergenic material and then topped with a quilted mattress pad. There is no plastic cover as suggested. Our guest thought her children were perspiring because of the cover. She reported this after the first night and we had housekeeping there in 10 minutes to remove the cover and remake the beds with fresh linens. They then showed the guest how to operate the climate control in that room for maximum comfort.

Beautiful views but needs updates!!

The location and views from this property were fantastic! Unfortunately, I could not get over the MUSTY smell in the master bedroom and family room. It was overwhelming, I can only assume it is in the furniture and rugs. It was also very moist in the master bedroom even though we had the air conditioning on the whole time. There were 2 chairs that looked out at the water and when you got up your shorts were damp. Just really too bad! The kitchen was fine but needed some basic utensils. The silverware was a mix match and not many place settings. One more thing the outdoor dining table and chairs had only 3 chairs we had take a chair from inside when needed. Our master toilet broke the first day and the maintenance group was great. They came out and fixed it right away. All and all the place is so beautiful it just really needs an update and somehow they have to get rid of the SMELL.

Spectacular setting and resort

We love staying at the Kapalua Bay Villas and this property is the best one by far. Walk out to beach steps and view of waves, two bedrooms and living all have a panoramic view. We are runners and the trails in the resort always bring us back.

Perfect location

Great location, steps from what seemed like a almost private stretch of beautiful beach perfect for snorkeling, swimming and turtles. Walking distance to great restaurants and honoloa store for when you want to eat in. Unit itself could use some cosmetic refreshing, but have found that in many upscale stays post covid. Would recommend new sealed door thresholds at a minimum to keep lizards out. Otherwise perfect

The split floor plan was very convenient and gave everyone there own space. The view..... stunning everyday. I preferred the close beach access also. The snorkeling was 5 star in the morning and just steps from the back door. I will highly recommend this unit to everyone.

Maui 2021

Was exactly as advertised. View is terrific and condo in very good condition. Was so much to do we never turned the TV on. Easy walk to the ocean and beach was never crowded. Want to come again.

Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Aloha casual island comfort coupled with the dramatic ocean views and beach front access 5 star. Our stay was interrupted by the demolition of the unit above ours, Aloha Vacation Rentals offered to move us to another unit. We will return!

Great location, beautiful views

Wow! The pictures do no do justice to how amazing this place is. Great view from just about every room in the villa. The beach access is just steps from the sliding door. We cooked breakfast in the villa every morning and were pleasantly surprised with how equip the kitchen was with everything you need. Overall an fabulous spot. Kapalua is very windy so keep that in mind when booking. It was definitely more windy than we expected so we never swam at the beach right in front of the room. This probably varies depending on the time of year. Would absolutely stay here again in the future!
