Outstanding ocean front appartment on Maui

This ocean front appartment is one of the most wonderful places on this planet. In the morning you wake up with a 180 degree view on the pacific and in the evening you see the pacific sunset from the dining table. The Outstanding beach is 50 meters from the apartment

Best Spot in Kapalua

The location of this property is stunning and made everything about our stay special. The views are out-of-this world gorgeous. We came for the Sentry Golf Championship and were within walking distance of an entry gate. All rooms were spacious. Kitchen was very well stocked. Will be back again, for sure

Absolutely Wonderful

Everything you see in the photos is exactly correct. The check-in process was seamless and on point. We had a questions on a detail and Patty quickly responded to that question. The owners clearly care about the stay of their guests and go the extra mile to make sure you know not only everything of importance to the unit itself, but Maui in general. You can stay here with 100% confidence in every aspect of your vacation.

We can’t say enough nice things about the beautiful grounds, fantastic views, awesome home and wonderful people we met at the Kapalua Bay Villas. The ocean view is like none other! It’s mesmerizing! Our experience was amazing. We will definitely go back to this community again. On a personal note we almost canceled our trip to the west side because we wanted to be sensitive and respectful to those affected by the recent fires but I’m so glad that we didn’t. It was a beautiful experience to get to visit with the locals, hear their stories and support them in whatever small ways we could. It was a beautiful experience all around. Mahalo until next time!

Gorgeous Oceanfront Views, But Falls Short of 5 Stars

Our 3 generation family had a wonderful stay at this spacious oceanfront condo. The grandparents took the first floor master bedroom (so they wouldn't have to climb stairs) and the parents/13 year old shared the upper master suite (additional fee for extra person and cot). As shown in the pictures, this condo has truly mesmerizing oceanfront views of Oneloa beach and the surrounding area. This was our first time to the Kapalua area, but we have rented many times in Wailea previously. I think it would be challenging to find a truly oceanfront condo with a better location and view! Having stayed at many high-end Hawaii VRBOs in the past, I do think that this condo falls a bit short of a 5 star luxury stay. For one, I do think that the decor has become a bit dated, particularly the artwork/photos. The outdoor balcony chairs could use an upgrade. The electric kitchen stove was extremely difficult to use, as almost all of the dial markings have rubbed off. The kitchen also could benefit from useful extras like saran wrap, tupperware, more mixing bowls. We also were surprised that the only beach equipment supplied were 4 beach chairs. This was the first time that we had to go rent beach umbrellas and boogie boards. We would have liked to use a small cooler to bring food/drinks to the beach, but that also was not provided. Having said that, we were very appreciative of the mid-week linen change and replenishment of toiletries/paper towels. Loved having an extra shower in the downstairs bathroom. Communication with the owner was excellent as well. All in all, I think that this is a great place in Kapalua. However, some minor changes/improvements could really make this a perfect place.

Family celebration of tumor-free status post chemotherapy!

Well maintained. Clean. Kitchen well equipped. Outstanding location. Spectacular panoramic views as shown on website. Lives comfortably as it appears it would on website, pleasant, uncomplicated, relaxing. We've stayed as couples in smaller villas at Kapalua Bay Villas and recommend this villa for a larger group. "Sleeps 6" but suggest rollaway (blow up which worked great) if two adult children uninterested in sharing bed as was the case in our family. We love easy access to beach right in front of Villa. Sign up for massages at the Montage Spa. Amazing. Walking to the Montage Beach for snorkeling is easy and quite good. Walking up to the Ritz is equally easy to do. Best espresso and espresso drinks at The Coffee Shop in Napili Plaza. We've gone there year after year and love the women who run the store.

Amazing views!

This condo was wonderful. It has the absolute best view in Kapalua. Its location can’t be beat. The coastal trail is right below and is easy access to the beach. The condo was well stocked with beach towels, as well as things needed in the kitchen. The owners were super responsive and helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

What a view! Outstanding Maui Beachfront Property

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Patty and Rick’s Kapalua property! Everything was as advertised with the views even better. Everyday waking up to the sun and surf and being able to sleep with the sounds of waves was just awesome. The beach and hiking trails are right out back of the property along with pools to enjoy. The condo was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Beach towels and chairs were a welcome amenity available to use, and we sure made use of them. Patty was outstanding to work with, answering all questions and providing so much information before even being asked. I highly recommend booking this property when looking to stay in Maui, you can’t go wrong!

Amazing View

If you are looking for a breath taking view, this is your condo. The views were amazing from both levels. The beach is a short walk. You are next to the walking trail. Both Merriman's and the Gazebo are right around the corner. I highly recommend staying here.

Much needed getaway

Being able to enjoy the postcard perfect sunrise and sunset from the villa put an exclamation mark on our week's getaway. Not only was the weather perfect, the location of the villa near the boardwalk was a subtle invitation to enjoy the seabreeze. The hosts provided excellent information and the villa amenities were accurately represented and appreciated. We would stay here again and would highly recommend others to do so.

Nice Villa

We enjoyed the villa and surrounding property very much. The villa itself was a great location , spacious, very nice bathrooms. The furniture in the sitting area’s could use an update they weren’t very comfortable. Also the washer/dryer were useful to have but very old and takes 2-3 cycles to dry the clothes. Overall GREAT STAY!! Wonderful communication with owners and property managers. Highly recommend this Villa.

Outstanding location

This villa has a prime location on the Kapalua Coastal trail. Not only are the views outstanding, but it is a short walk to the Coastal trail which provides wonderful outlooks along the way. The villa is also close walking distance (20 minutes) to several very good restaurants. The lovely, welcoming accommodations will provide you with a most comfortable stay.

Ever since our first visit to Hawaii in 1979 we were hooked. We knew finding a place on one of Hawaii's incredible islands would be our top priority. So we set out to discover each Island. We wanted an Island with fabulous uncrowded beaches, gourmet restaurants, fantastic hiking, great snorkeling and diving opportunities and high on our list...night life venues that offer romantic dancing or places we could sit relaxing in a cozy spot overlooking the ocean while listening to great music.

After several years of visiting and exploring six of Hawaii's incredible islands our decision was clear. Without a doubt, MAUI is the place!! All of our requirements... and more are right here. Kapalua and Kaanapali have miles of beautiful golden sand uncrowded beaches... great for swimming and body surfing, fantastic snorkeling at Kapalua Bay, body surfing at Oneola and DT Fleming Beach, an 80 mile long hiking trail here in Kapalua encircles the entire Resort thru the mountains, pineapple fields down to the beach, gourmet restaurants and night life spots all over the Island... but especially here in Kapalua.

Once the decision was made, our biggest requirement was that wherever we chose had to be Ocean Front and have an Ocean View from both the Living Room AND Master Bedroom. Our Penthouse Villa offers this and more. Even the guest room, kitchen and master bath shower have an ocean view. We adjoin 3 of the world's most beautiful beaches (Oneola, Kapalua Bay and DT FLeming Beach) as rated by Conde Nast and The Travel Channel.
