Welcome to Grand Panama 1-1006 - One of the best Complexes on The Beach! This condo is well appointed with everything you may need for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is fully equipped for you to enjoy a home cooked meal after a long day at the beach. Soak in the breeze from the privacy of your own balcony overlooking the Gulf!

The Master bedroom has a king bed with a private ensuite bathroom, double sink vanity with upgraded granite countertops and plenty of space and is overlooking the Gulf. The second bedroom features a queen bed. The living room has a sleeper sofa and a set of bunk beds. The open living room is very spacious and perfectly set up for everyone to gather round and connect during vacationing in PCB and create perfect memories for years to come!

An initial starter kit of amenities is provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, and 1 liner for each trashcan. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom, plus 2 washing machine pods.

Our room was clean and comfortable. They provided a couple of dishwasher and laundry tabs, a small bottle of dish soap with sponge and basic toiletries. The only thing I didn't know about ahead of time was how parking worked but we got it sorted out pretty quickly and enjoyed our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property location was the main reason we chose to rent here. The beach views were beautiful and the resort was quiet. But, the unit was filthy. There was mold in the shower, mold in the air vents, the carpet was stained as if it has not been cleaned since it was installed. Dirty dishes were put away, there was a thick layer of dust on the main bed frame. The blinds kept a falling apart and the main room cable box did not work.

Excellent View!

Decent Vacation Experience

Not all that great

Needs a deep cleaning! Getting an elevator is an event every time, took up to 30 minutes a couple times and with an elderly mom and pregnant wife, the stairs weren’t an option! The Beach is pretty and water is great! Pool was murky and maybe too much chlorine. Have your wrists bands on, for sure! Tiki bar was ridiculous, just wanted a Virgin Pina Coloda for my wife and the bartender refused to make one even if I paid full price for an alcoholic one… he was pretty much a local dirt bag! The question is, do you want my money or not?!? I would have purchased several beers for myself at that point, but since he refused to make the Virgin, I decided to go to Walmart and pay a lot less for my beer there. Over all, not worth the money!

Bad: Sheets were all inside out with freshener powder sprinkled on the sheets, so I’m not sure if they were washed before we checked in. Mold on the shower liner in the hallway bathroom. There’s what looks like mold around the outside of the balcony door. I slept in the guest bedroom, but my sister (who slept on the bunkbed) saw a roach crawl out from my door on the second to last night of being there. Stained carpet on the window side of the bedroom I stayed in, not sure what it was. Elevators took forever, being on the 10th floor was a disadvantage. Parking in the main garage is scarce after 5pm. A deep clean along with a better and more thorough cleaning service would improve this rating greatly. Good: pool was good and the beach wasn’t ever too crowded. Good location, walking distance from a few places to eat/buy souvenirs. Received text updates about maintenance in the building. TV in each room. Roomy enough for my mom, two teenage sisters, me, and my boyfriend, everyone had their own space. Management was good about working with our reservation prior to the stay.

Grand Panama 1006

Great location and convenient to restaurants and shops. Pool and beach was nice! Large balcony! Room was okay. Cleaning crew before we arrived definitely could have done better! Stains and finger prints on bathroom and kitchen cabinets/refrigerator. Hair and stains on carpet and floors. In the second bathroom the towel rack was ripped out from the drywall. Hole was in the wall behind behind master bedroom door. Not much storage at all in the master bedroom. Kitchen could have been better stocked. Dishes were still wet in cabinet. Our kids had a blast though and that’s all that matters!

Beautiful location but not the experience we were expecting

I would Actually give it a 3.5 if I could but there was not that option. For the positives the location of the unit is perfect the beach is great, the pool area is very nice, close to Pier Park without having all the traffic from it. The unit was cleaned and ready for us to enter at check in time. We had 3 kids and 2 adults and the unit was very spacious. Aside from the carpets in the bedrooms being heavily stained the rest of the unit was very clean. We added a day on to our stay prior to check in, the host was very responsive during the holiday in getting back to us about that. What brought the rating lower was the fact that we had rented a different property at the resort next door for this stay but decided to cancel it and spend a little more money to be in tower 1 on the beach with a beautiful view and balcony. We like to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view and listen to the waves crashing. We got in late on the first night and didn't think anything of it but the balcony furniture was in the living room area. The next morning very early was very loud drilling for hours. Men were working on our balcony and all the balconies around ours. Later in the day they were gone and I tried to open the balcony door and it wouldn't open. I went To the bedroom balcony door and same thing. I thought The doors were just stuck and waited for my husband to look at them in the morning. The next morning my husband looked and saw that our sliding doors were locked from the outside with wood so we couldn't open them. I went To the office and inquired about it and she said it was scheduled maintenance and that owners were notified a while ago and that we would not be able to use our balcony the whole week we were there. That was extremely disappointing considering we upgraded our stay to be in that location with the beautiful balcony we could enjoy. Not only could we not use it during the day when they were working but we couldn't use it the entire stay. Along with that when we first got there i tried to wash all the dishes in the dishwasher only to find out the dishwasher was broken. We contacted the host and they responded very quickly that they would have maintenance come out. Maintenance never came so I had to wash dishes all week. Also a lot of the cookware was very used and pealing so I had to go to the store and buy pans and a pot to cook in. The buttons on the washing machine were broken and moved out of position so a few times i thought I had Started the wash it didn't work. Like i said the location is great i wish We could have used it how we were planning on it as we wouldn't have upgraded our stay to that unit if we had known we couldn't use the balcony all week. I do Recommend bringing your own blankets if you are going in the cooler weather because what they have on the beds is not very comfortable or warm. Other than those issues is was a fine stay.
