The location was great and the beach view was awesome. Unit was very clean. The washer didn’t work and the host had repaired same day which was great. The only issue I had was that the listing was not forthcoming about parking costs. It was a one time 50.00 fee and it’s not clear in the listing. The second issue I had was constant communication. LOTS of texts daily and it was a bit annoying. It’s an older complex so there’s natural wear and tear throughout the unit, but it served our needs for a quick beach getaway for my husband and I. There were lots of kids so very family friendly and there’s a restaurant on site which is super convenient and their goat cheese flat bread was to die for! All in all it was fun.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're delighted that you enjoyed the great location, beautiful beach views, on-site restaurant, and that the unit was clean and well-suited for your beach getaway. We're also pleased that the washer issue was reported during your stay and that our team was able to have it repaired the same day. We appreciate your feedback regarding the parking fee and communication preferences. Please note that parking fees are established and managed by the property's Homeowners Association, and we apologize if this information was not as clear as expected prior to your arrival. We also value your input regarding the frequency of guest communications. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We're glad you and your family had a fun stay and enjoyed the family-friendly atmosphere and convenient amenities. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another beach getaway in the future. Your Southern Team

We always love our stay at Edgewater

We had a great time on our short vacation to Panama City Beach. We love staying at Edgewater’s Resort. The room was clean and the condo was exactly like it was in the photos.

Great property and location. Beach access and close to local amenities. Plan to bring your own everything from soap to shampoo. We were unprepared and had to make a store visit to pick up basics that we assume would be included in the rental.

Simplicity and Perfect

Located only steps away from the elevator, easy to get to. Overlooking the beautiful white sands and emerald green wayers of the gulf. Cooking breakfast each morning with this view brought calm to my stay!

After exchanging ids, credit cards etc., I was told everything was complete several days before departure and again a few days later. After I had driven 600 miles on the day to check in they told me if I didn’t give them another credit card I could not access the room I had already paid for with my roommates credit card her husband told her to use. You can cancel my entry but I cannot cancel my room.Forget their childish unprofessional attitude in the finance department, they advertised a room that had a huge wall mirror in the bathtub up to ceiling. The photos used only show a shower curtain, not the wall mirror behind it. I found this despicable and repulsive! I could have avoided the whole nasty encounter had I seen that disgusting mirror bath set up they had in the ad which is exactly why they only show the curtain. I’ve trusted you for a long time but this is the end of our relationship. I will never trust you or them again! When nobody wants to take a shower after a hot day in the sun it’s a problem.

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback. We are very sorry for the frustration and discomfort you experienced with both the payment process and the room setup. Your comments about communication, billing, and the bathroom photos are important, and we will review them carefully with the team to prevent similar issues. We understand how disappointing this was, especially after a long trip, and we regret that your stay did not meet your expectations.

Condo

The condo was nice and clean, has a great beach view, however there wasn’t any cabinet space to put groceries. Really needs a keurig coffee maker. The shower curtain rod kept falling down. Overall we had a great stay.

Sunshine & Relaxation

Overall a nice place to stay. Not crowded as most spring breaks were over. Location was great on the 2nd floor, close to elevator and easy to take the stairs. Beautiful view from the balcony. Tower III heated pool very nice, wish the big lagoon pool was heated too. Publix and restaurants nearby. Southern Vacation Rentals great communication. Just a couple negatives- the mattress is horrible, need to be replaced and as stated prior new pans. We've stayed in many VRBO properties and usually they leave better "start-up" necessities (dish soap, soap, trash bags etc.). and beach chairs, toys etc. maybe left from previous renters-store in the closet.

The property was in a great location. But while staying in the condo, our toilet kept running, the water wouldn’t drain properly in the sink in the bathroom, the front door saddle was cracked, and the dryer did not dry your clothes.

Good location - great pool

A few issues came up during our stay. No internet access was a big disappointment. Bathroom wasn't very clean. Tried contacting host without any response. Otherwise, condo was small but well furnished and the location and view were great.

The view and property was amazing. Although we ran into a snag with the pull out sofa upon arrival, we made the space work for our family. We will visit again!
