“Me Time-We Time” Clear Ocean View, Stylish Updates, Pools/Wifi/Location!
No need to overthink it. “Me Time-We Time” checks every box on your beach vacation wish list. Best in location, views, value, comfort, amenities, and customer service. Updated 2023- 2025 with stylish finishes, quality name-brand furniture and thoughtful furnishings including new refrigerator, Casper mattress, backsplash, new patio door and windows.
Location cannot be beat! Literally a 5-minute walk from inside the condo to your feet in the sand on the beach. This condo is situated five units from the front on the inside of the complex which gives you the best ocean view and yet far enough back to provide a noise buffer between you and Seawall Blvd.
Also, within walking distance: Krogers/Starbucks 1 block to the east; Walmart Supercenter 1.5 blocks to the west; Rita ’s Frozen Ice/Custard and McDonalds are a 2-minute walk right across 61st street.
Two luxury swimming pools on site. The pool at the back of the same building as the condo is in, is heated. Walk to the back of either building to access the pool with loungers and picnic tables.
Sleeping options include 1 new (2025) Casper queen bed, 2 child-sized (27”x75”) bunks in the hallway and a new (2022) queen sized Pottery Barn sofa bed with gel mattress in the living area.
The comfortable living area has a sofa, ceiling fan, ottomans, smart TV, multi device charger and board games. The dining area has a solid wood table and 4 chairs, for eating, playing games or working.
Private balcony includes balcony-height Adirondack lounge chairs and an unobstructed view of the gulf.
Kitchenette is stocked with a new (2025) Insignia fridge, microwave, Corelle dishes, cutlery, blender, toaster, pots and pans, storage containers, insulated mugs, kettle, Keurig coffee maker, starter set of coffee and creamer pods as well as packages of crystal light.
Provided: 4 beach towels; bath towel sets for 4; bed linens; dish soap; dish towels; hand soap; starter bottle of shower soap; smart TV’s in both the living area and the bedroom; free Wi-Fi; 2 rolls of toilet paper; 1 roll of paper towel; first aid kit; and an adjustable new (2025) Honeywell digital thermostat.
Coin operated laundry ($2.00 wash/dry) rooms are on the ends of both the 1st and 3rd floors; vending machines and a free ice machine is available on the 2nd floor.
Time to enjoy some of that “Me Time-We Time” now!!

For stays of 7 or more days a 10% discount is applied. For stays of 28 or more days a 35% discount is applied.
Parking notes: The HOA requires a parking pass which costs $25 (+tax) per car/per week. ($75 for 4 week stays) The parking pass must be purchased when you first arrive and has to be paid for, by debit or credit card. The parking pass must be displayed in your vehicle at all times. The parking fee goes directly to the HOA and cannot be paid to the hosts.
Unfortunately, absolutely no pets are allowed in any of the condos in the complex. This is outside of our control and we don’t have any wiggle room.
Casa Del Mar does not have a hot tub.

We’re Mark and Diane. We started coming to Galveston in 2012 with our kids and have seen the island revitalized and become a thriving and enticing destination. We’ve stayed in hotels, condos and RV campgrounds over the years until we decided in Jan 2022 to purchase. Since we use the phrase “Me Time – We Time” to describe our time in Galveston, that’s what we decided to name the condo.

In updating, we’ve tried to think of everything we could to make it comfortable and functional. We’ve bought the most comfortable chairs we could to make it pleasant to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view, and bought a sofa, chairs, and mattresses that we hope make it comfortable to watch tv, read, sleep and eat. We tried to plan the space to be functional for meals, working, or playing games, and versatile enough for what you need the space to be. We’ve bought solid, good quality, name-brand furniture and furnishings because we didn’t like renting condos where the furniture seemed like it was cheap and rickety. We’ve added a ceiling fan, considered the lighting and tried to decorate in clean modern beach colors, limit the clutter, and provide thoughtful storage and a few “extras”.
