Excellent place to stay.

We loved our time at the palmetto rose. The house is beautiful and location is excellent. Everything was just as the description noted. Furniture and beds were comfortable.

Our Fabulous Spring Break 2026

Palmetto Rose was fabulous. The view, the roar of ocean and proximity to everything made our vacation definitely Edislow. It was an amazing enjoyable relaxing place to stay. The whirlpool jacuzzi even helped end a relaxing day of joy. We highly recommend this place as a great place to spend time on Edisto Beach.

Great accommodations. 6BR; two hall baths; 2 master baths. Easy access to beach. Quiet home even with kids and teenagers staying with us.

Family fun Edislow spring break

Palmetto Rose was fabulous. The view is amazing, roar of the ocean eases your mind nightly and in the morning allows you to feel refreshed. The whirlpool jacuzzi relief your pressure on a busy day. Everything is enjoyable in the house. It made us feel right in our own home. Highly recommend this beautiful home.

Great Family Home in Edisto Beach - Close to Beach

We had a great stay at Palmetto Rose. Spacious house on multiple levels with plenty of beds and baths as well as inside and outside hangout space for an extended family. Large dining tables inside and outside with lots of outdoor hangout space. Would definitely recommend!

Very comfortable and clean home

Would rent again! All the beds were comfortable and bedrooms were spacious. We loved hanging out on all three levels of the outside area, especially the padded chaise on the upper level. The huge swim spa was awesome!

I koved all aspects of the stay. The property was above by expectations except the large spa tub is listed as a pool. The conveidence of the elevator was a blessing in discusige

Great House for Family Vacation

This house is spacious and allows everyone to have their own bedroom. Most bedrooms have an extra fan. The bathrooms are very nice. We enjoyed the downstairs area under the house and the beachfront porches for our time off the beach. The kitchen was stocked for cooking and we definitely appreciated the two refrigerators. We would definitely stay at Palmetto Rose in the future.

Over exceeded our expectations.

This was an amazing house. Great location, the layout of the house is perfect for a large group. All of the furnishings seemed to be in like new condition. This was is the Ritz Carlton standard. We will be back next year.

great house!

This is a great house for our two families to share. The kitchen was well equipped and the house comfortable. We had an issue with an appliance but the reality company was fast to respond. The hot tub is phenomenal. The beach view and breeze was great for porch sitting. This is a nice home to rent!

Wonderful Time at Edisto

My family and I had a wonderful vacation at Palmetto Rose. Beautiful home! There is plenty of space for everyone, if you want to hang out together or spend some time apart. The beach is across the road, and it's a short walk to the beach accesses. This Nana enjoyed her time with her children and grandchildren. We all enjoyed the beach and ocean during the day and several evenings we enjoyed the sunset on the sound side of Edisto and even saw a dolphin or two. Beautiful!

Loved the Low Country

Nice house, BIG, tons of room, great view of Atlantic, had everything we needed, elevator is a big plus. This was our first time to Edisto Island area. If you like history and nature, it's a must visit. We used as a base to visit Charleston, Savannah, Beaufort, toured plantations, museums, historical districts, and nature preserves, excellent time! Also the Edisto Island Historic Preservation Museum is a hidden gem packed with the history of Edisto. This time of year it was quiet, maybe a half dozen cars go by in the evening you can hear the waves all night long. When the skies are clear great star gazing like a Dark Sky Area.

Absolutely wonderful!!

This is the first year that we have stayed in this house after going to Edisto for more than 35 years. it was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked. The porches were great being able to see the ocean and only a few steps away from the beach. The issue we’ve had in the past were very uncomfortable beds and not the most comfortable living area furniture. The beds were fine and the living area furniture was comfortable and there were plenty of places for our family of seven to be together. It really felt like we were in someone’s home rather than a rental. we will definitely be back The elevator, and the hot tub were a definite, plus!!

Girls Weekend

The house was beautiful! It was in a perfect location. We had plenty of room for all 10 of us. The only thing I wish to change is more plates and bowls that could go in the dishwasher. While there was a set of 4 of each that could, the majority of the plates and bowls could not go in the microwave or dishwasher. That makes for a lot of hand washing dishes on vacation. Especially since we cooked all 3 meals for 4 days at the house for 10 people. Other than that we can't wait to book again!

As for the dishes; we have several different sets of dishes in Palmetto Rose and you are the first to mention this. We will make sure there is a majority of dishwasher safe dishes there from now on; while having fine china in your vacation home is nice we can certainly understand not wanting to wash dishes on vacation! We look forward to seeing you when you return to our Palmetto Rose!
